Another ColorOS Camera Port [Last Update : Version K1&K2] [18/07/15]

Andriman's OppoCamera Mod
This is not an update for @BOOTMGR camera. This is my private port of @andriman 's camera mod. It's got a enormous number of customizations and you can read more in detail about them here. Also don't forget to thank him.
Again this is my private port so don't bug the other developers about issues with this app.
Issues -
- Doesn't work on cm11 ART.
- The plugins for this app aren't compatible with bootmgr's app. If you wish to revert to his app please use this flashable zip to remove all my plugins and replace them with those which are compatible with his app.
- To make manual focus work please refer to this thread.

Since the last release was really buggy i am uploading two versions this time. Use whichever works well for you. Both have the same features included and major bugfixes. All the plugins are already included in the flashable zip file.
Version K1
- Based on ColorOS Camera version 2.0_3453_150604
Version K2
- Based on ColorOS Camera version 2.0_3438_150603
Also JPEG Quality has been set to 100% in both these apps. (Thanks to @Riichard63)
To avoid all the confusion regarding different plugins from @bootmgr's app i have made a flashable zip which replaces my plugins with those which are compatible with his app - http://www.mediafire.com/download/7muc6r6uya2vrlj/Revert-to-BOOTMGR.zip
Use this when you wish to install either his app (Version 2.5) or any older versions of my app (Version-I and below)
Version A :
Initial release
Version B :
Fixed fullscreen as default on cm12 roms (fixes focus issues when enabling onscreen keys and any DPI changes)
Fixed 5 plugin limit (thanks to bootmgr)
Version C :
Disable max brightness and fix video quality issues. (thanks to bootmgr)
Latest changes from andriman's mod v0.20:
- scene modes reduced to fit on the screen
- added focus and exposure menus
- scene settings can now be changed in video mode as well
- continuous focus in video enabled (start recording, select Fixed focus, then select Continous focus)
- Touch-to-track enabled for all video modes except of 4K UHD
Version D:
Changed image and video file name format. Now pictures will save as IMG_yyyyMMdd_HHmmss.
Added options for sharpness and skintone enhancement in settings. (still testing)
Moved focusmode to settings.
Fixed geo-tagging (by bootmgr)
Fixed icons overlapping video tracker while recording. (removed a few options...let me know if u need me to add other options)
Version E:
- Replaced the green arrows and added all the missing icons
- Removed smart scene as it was a little buggy and added intelligent scene to settings
- Fixed timed shots looping
- Disabled focus before recording (fixes blurs at the beginning of the recording)
(I haven't added 'continuous focus in video' from bootmgr's app because its the same as 'Continuous' option in Settings>Focus Mode)
- Added zero shutter lag (experimental)
- Some minor changes to make touch-to-track work properly. It will work during recording too. (tap with two fingers on the screen to activate it)
- Removed sharpness and skintone enhancement since those options require more code to work
Version F :
Rebased to new version V2.0.2393.150306
All latest fixes from bootmgr's app.
- Added option to disable/enable flash when taking blind shots
- Settings can be viewed in landscape mode
- Can take upto 50 burst shots and all the pics will now be saved in a separate folder (DCIM/CShot/<timestamp>)
- Enabled 'v' gesture object tracker. (removed touch-to-track per user request)
Version G -
- Updated to latest official camera app from ColorOS Rom 2.0.50
- New manual exposure feature:
Instructions: Tap anywhere on the screen to focus and wait till you see a yellow sun icon. Then scroll up to increase exposure and scroll down to decrease it.
- Added Video Mode menu
Version H -
- 4k support for cm12/12s roms
- Added Video Quality toggle. Please select 'highest' for best output.
Version I -
- Re-based to camera app from Color OS 2.1 (Lollipop)
- Reduced memory usage (removed a couple of unneeded features)
- Tweaked UI to lessen all the lags
- Latest bugfixes from bootmgr's app
- Few more bugfixes by me

Yup installs and works perfectly! Except for the same issues from the original camera port

I try to install but app not installed on cm11s 0Q5.

I noticed in the issues section the storage bug isn't listed:
Does that mean that it's fixed in this version?

I haven't tested it on cm11..I just checked and I see that its broken on kitkat..sigh
I'll upload a new version soon..thanks for pointing out..I use slimsaber and didn't expect this to have any problems on kitkat
Edit: it just worked..after it shows the error just try opening the app again

If you have the old camera try uninstalling and installing again..maybe the old camera left a couple of residual files
Or maybe the file you downloaded is corrupt?

Awesome app!
For those who dislike the app title bar (The one which says "Camera" at the top), You can use the App Settings Xposed module to hide the title bar, and you can also use the Force Immersive Mode module to force the camera into fullscreen!

Tried that already, cleared data, uninstalled the old version and tried the new version. Its not corrupt because its a full 7 mb file

Just make it easy for you and do all the folders in the system folder. Then flash the ROM and see if the camera works. If not, flashe the flashable zip fix.

Actually it should work on every ROM / Note 4. Please try again. I think you have made a mistake during the installation. Something happens quickly, please pay attention to the instructions.

Download Version 1.0 BETA and open the RAR file. There you find the system folder for the installation, the fix flashable zip and a readme.txt

I can install this if the room is already installed ? i don't want to reflash my room....i have a lot of modification on norma v11 and i don't want to lose all my work...

My rom is Norma v10, it working cool with S7 camera. I copy file camera N7 and flash rom then flash Fix file together. But open app camera : Unfortunately camera stop.
So bad news for me. Maybe you make the zip file flash with twrp, do you ?

Unfortunately you have to use a clean ROM. If you have already installed the S7 Camera port, it does not work. You have to re-download the ROM and then install the Note7 port.
Please try again. I use Norma itself in version 11 and it works.

An working modded Moto camera app which is working fine with our device..
I have tested the same with Lux while running LOS 14.1.
It should be work on every Custom ROM
The "res\raw\app_features.json" file has been modified to enable professional mode.
If you are running a custom ROM and want to write to an external SD card you will need to do below Steps after rooting you're device:
1.- In /data/system
look for packages.xml
In there, look for com.motorola.camera1

I'm not sure.. You can try apk version first.. If that worked then uninstall that one & install flashable zip version..

Hello i have a moto x play running on android 7.1.1
But the problem is that i cant run the mod on my phone....none of the pro features are working
Secondly i cant found any "app_feauture.json" under "res/raw".

Why even mention this? It won't work anyway. The phone's hardware doesn't support Camera2 API so out of every control in professional mode only Exposure works.

I made a flasheable ZIP that install the app as a system app. I you want you can extract the apk and install as a user app. If you try it tell me on which Moto G3 variant you are (including Turbo Edition), the ROM you are using and which features of the camera are working (if it works at all) so that I can add it to the compatibility list. Thanks!
HOW TO INSTALL
First method: Just flash the ZIP via TWRP (Latest TWRP version recommended).
Second method: Extract the apk from the ZIP file and install as a user app.

As the app is from a G5s Plus it should only be compatible with Nougat and newer versions. You can try it and tell me if it works. I will try to test it on other ROMs and port it to Marshmallow and Lollipop

yeah man it works well with magisk and its stabilisation features is just amazing and video recording is working perfectly

1. panorama mode is not working, everytime i on panaroma , the app crash
2. no hdr mode
3. no professional mode
4. no slo-mo recording features ( but who use slo-mo actually)
using it on aex 5.4 rom (android 8.1 )

Professional mode isn't possible because as far as I know the Moto G3 doesn't support the new Motorola camera drivers or something like that. And regarding panorama and HDR I must say that I don't really know how to fix that, so if you want this features you should use the stock Motorola Camera app.
Can you tell me on which device and ROM are you using it so I can add it to the list? Thanks

Is this app modded by you?

As i thought this shouldn't worked with osprey due to Camera2 Api requirement, but still i have checked because you have mentioned it's working for you on Osprey running Aex 5.4.. FYI I'm on same Os & device is XT1550 Osprey
Test one Twrp Flash - after flashing zip rebooted to device & there's no Motocamera app there..
Test Two Manual install Apk from Zip - Successfully installed apk & when i tried to opened it given a error device is not supported..
I suspect you're spreading some false information here..
Moderators please look into this..
Edit :- It got working for me as after i have unrooted my device.. I will try to get that Root issue fixed if possible.. anyways thanks for this app.. it's lack many of the regular app features but still one more Camcorder working camera for Osprey Oreo users..

1. This is the stock app, it's not modified by me in any way. I tried decompiling it to make osprey compatible with other features of the camera and I couldn't compile a working APK.
2. This is not false information, the same happened to me when I had Magisk installed, when I uninstalled Magisk the camera app worked. As you can see this worked for other people also. In order to install the ZIP you have to make sure the system partition is mounted.

Regarding the zip not installing, I'm going to fix the mounting issues so it installs correctly.
And yes, when I was testing it I got the "Device not supported" error and the camera closed when I had Magisk installed, after uninstalling Magisk the camera gave me the same toast notification but it started correctly.

I updated the ZIP file, now it should work fine and as I said before, if it doesn't work try uninstalling Magisk.

Thanks for looking into that issue! I tried to fix that but I couldn't compile a working APK, every APK I compiled didn't install. For some reason the app worked with Magisk for some user. And the fact that it works without Camera2 API is because as far as I know Camera2 API is the stock android API it's kind of retro compatible with older camera APIs. If you need any help tell me, I'll try to do my best!

Wow this is weird, we are all using the same ROM and we get different results... Which version on Magisk do you have? And have you previously installed any other camera mods or something?

Just clean flashed v5.4 today. Along with magisk v16.0 . Then just extracted the APK from your zip because I was too lazy to reboot and flash. Got it worked and using... Don't know whether am missing something.

I did exactly the same right now and I couldn't get it to work. Which Moto G3 variant do you have? I think I may have found the issue

Flashable PixelMaster on TWRP

ATTENTION: Always back up your data. I will not be liable for damages or loss of data. It is at your own risk.
1-Remove old PixelMaster (if you have on)
2-Start twrp to install PixelMaster-install_Z00A_Z008-v4.2.zip
3-Reboot System and install AsusGallery

this is for x86 your is ARM
you try the one that is ARM!

It may be that PixelMaster of this topic (x86_64) work on BORETS ROM Zenfone 4 Edition

I have [ROM]Groovy Android[Nightlies][Nougat][7.1.2] on my ZE551ML (Z00A), I tried PixelMaster v3 and v4:
I successfully flashed it from recovery, the app starts and takes good pictures with back camera but the front camera doesn't work instead: it takes green lines picture or it blocks completely the camera without taking the photo. The camera results to be blocked even for other apps so it need the system to be rebooted.
I just tried version 4.1, it gives the same result as above. The problem is still the front camera, after taking a green striped photo it blocks completely the camera..
UPDATE:
The main problem seems to be the "optimization" option in the settings menu: after disabling it, the front camera works well!
DOESN'T WORK:
- "GIF" mode on both cameras (no reboot needed)
- "Panorama" mode closes immediately the app (no reboot needed)
- "Super resolution" mode blocks irrevocably the camera even for other apps (reboot needed*)
- video recording slightly lags in respect to other apps
*soft reboot is enough

In Z00L with Groovy Android GA-N-v7.1.2-20181112-Z00L-Release, the front camera works seamlessly in all apps I've tested.

On Groovy my front camera works well with all the other apps, both switching from the back one and taking pictures.
Can you provide a changelog of the updates of PixelMaster app?
I will try version 4.2 asap and keep you posted
