Those are probably some of the nicest in-ears you can buy for less than $300.
Read this if the price seems a little much.
The shure i2c-m's can be had of ebay for a very good price and offer very good quality sound. The same drivers as the e2c's that have very good dynamic drivers that increase in sound quality quite considerably after they been used for a reasonable amount of time. I'd also buy a tripple flange set of plugs or some foam ones, my favourite being the orange medium size shure brand, they give me a perfect fit with complete sound isolation. The quality of the microphone on these is also surprisingly good, better than my expensive bluetooth sonys.
The only problem is a lack of hardware button at the neck of the headphones for answering so i just press the phones hardware button in my pockets during use.
The following are what I use to listen to music and talk hands free.
When speaking to someone the caller is in stereo.
Although not "in ear" very reasonably priced.

Hi, i've bought the retro phone style to use with my phone. And I got a problem, whenever i try to plug it in, my sgn2 it recognizes it as headphones, and when i try to call with it i only get the speaker sound, but the microphone is dead, does anyone know what to do?
Links would help people understand what you're talking about.

This?

Yeah, need a link for an exact thing. I assume its a connection through headphone jack, just like any headphones with built in mic/remote. In theory it should be the same thing just a fancy replacement of headphone with some analog style retro phone?!? I would suggest to check your 3.5mm connector. Typically those will be partitioned into headphone/mic/control sections. The section for speaker on that connector is working ok, while the one for mic is not. Probably ask for a replacement? Also, if you have stock headphones or any other headphones with mic to pickup calls, test it out with your phone to make sure its not your phone connector problem.
When were you gonna review this particular item? Lol

I would never buy that cheap thing. There are too many stand/speaker combos to waste your money on this novel junk.

I have one ( a different brand in black) that is pretty well made. It was cheap and its fun.
Nobody needs a music player shaped like a Victrola, or like an old vacuum tube radio, or shaped like a Wurlitzer Juke Box. None the less all of those sell.
There has always been a market for nostalgia.

That one depends on the sex and shape of the wearer.
Is it a person from "Maxim" or a person from "People of Walmart"?

Hi, I was very curious about these headphones, so I ordered a set from EBAY from Korea. They are not that good at all, very poor bass response, feel somewhat cheap and fit poorly. If you are on the fence about getting these, don't bother.
try moving them around in your ear, bit tricky then you can hear the bass. So far they are the best I ever had with a phone (Iphone, Samsung), actually better then all the plugs I had.
The thick wires also untangle like a charm.
Sent from my LG-D802
They came in the box with my D802.
Tried them, put them back in the box, and ordered some good in-ear set.
The Quadbeats 2 are just horrible! no where close to the quality of the ones that came with the HTC One.

Lol didn't you get the memo? Apple should market their earbuds as "Intelligent Dual-Purpose (earbud + makeshift speaker) Headsets". When you're by yourself in a quiet space, they are painfully loud. When you're in a loud place with lots of other people, they leak sound like oil from the Exxon Valdez. It's basically impossible to listen to anything in class; everyone else can hear what you're listening to.
Anyways, I haven't tried Samsung, but however bad the Quadbeats are they MUST be far superior to those dreaded Apple earphones.

Agreed, though I like the over all sound from the apple head phones over the quadbeats
I just tried mine tonight, compared with my now a few years old Sennheiser cx300 (I think) in ears. Have to say I prefer the sound on the Quadbeat 2's right now. Definitely a bit lighter on bass, but overall a lot more clear. Very impressed for a pair of headphones included for free in the box!
Also, the phone volume for music can go a lot louder with the Quadbeats in for some reason too.
Combined with Viper XHifi I'm damn happy.

lol that tells you that these are pretty bad then, guess I will stick to me S4As
I have long been an audiophile for many years and have lived through the advacements from tubed systems through the 7 and 11 transistor radios to what is available today for 10s of thousands of dollars. Everyones hearing is different and what sounds like velvet to me may sound like fingernails being dragged across the chalk board to you. As such, you will either like these or not. I like them, a lot. Worth every penney I paid for them and I use Sennheisers in my home. For the price, these are more than adequate for the task when I am out and about. Of course I listen to Pink Floyd and not to Waka Flocka, and Bach instead of ..... Well, you get the idea.

No, it tells you that that is his preference. The general feeling on the Quadbeats 2 is very positive for bundled earphones.
I talk to a lot people that think in-ear monitors, on the whole, don't have any bass. These same people generally don't know how to fit them properly. There's a reason most IEMs include multiple tips. The wearer must find the right size and style of tip to properly seal in the ear canal. Some folks are lucky and can get good fit from a medium mushroom single flange. Others (myself and my son included) need to customize for best fit and comfort.
Some of the most compelling sound reproduction I've ever heard came out of a set of cheap customized wood (Altec?) IEMs.

...most people also don't seem to know what good bass really sounds like...but that's a deep, dark, scary hole to go down...

I know, I need a smaller sized plug on my right ear than I do my left, looks weird if anyone ever borrows them, but they're my ears dammit. For what they are (free in my box!) or if bought, a cheap pair oh earphones, they are a very decent bit of kit. Anyone expecting world beating results is looking in the wrong place however.

Well... I've been testing a lot on the QuadBeat 2, and compared to quadbeat 1, they are fare better
But, thier earbuds are very stiff, so my Beoplay H3 from B&O stays as my headset, on my optimus G2

It should be though shouldn't it really. Comparing items from Bose and B&O with iem's that come free in the box of the phone is a bit redundant surely?

And yes your right. All though my head phones that came with my s3 sound great it seems like you win some and you lose some. My G2 is o pre order and I can't wait to see if the 24bit sounds even better..

I haven't even made use of the better audio playback yet. The 16gb limitation of the phone has me stuck. And Play Music, while excellent, won't stream my flac files.

Awfull
I received my LG G2 yesterday with Quadbeats 2 and I must say they are the worst in-ear I've ever tried.
They probably go to the trashcan, nobody would want them.
I've tried with all the plug sizes, and the medium size fits really well, but the sound...:crying:
If I raise the volume to 40%, just when you are expecting to "feel" the bass, the sound will start to break up, just like a couple of busted speakers.
My set must be broken, since I can not see how this would be an improved version of Quadbeats, since they are utterly crap.
Given the general overall opinion on them from other sites as well is positive, then yes, maybe they were faulty. But to suggest yourself that they may be faulty, but then also say they are crap is contradictory.

QuadBeat 2
hey guys, I'm not sure if I'm having problem with my quadbeats 2. I'm having channel imbalance. left side always louder than right. Is this normal or is my quadbeat 2 spoilt?
Hi. I bought G2 5 days ago and I liked it. But I cant use Quadbeat 2 because its not standing in ears like other earpods and it fells down with small move. How can use it. Thanks.(and sorry for my bad english)

Try to use a different size of ear-buds that suites you. Look in the box there are standard sizes of ear-buds packed with the quadbeat headset.

Yes, ear-buds come with quadbeat2 is so small or so big, non of them fit with my ears. Sound quality is big decent while compare to quadbeat1 of the Optimus G. So disappointed.

It aint the size that is bad, it is the type of rubber they use, it is really slippery and doesn't grip into your ears.

I didn't get any headphones with mine. Not even any room in AT&T box for them. This was shipped from AT&T because local store didn't have any G2's in stock.

Just bought these after my wife blagged the HTC buds off me.
Abolutely brill for the price. Definitely sound like a much more expensive set. Punchy Bass with excellent detail and great separation. And a bargain price. Won the Best in-ears up to £40 at the What Hifi Awards 2013.

Available on Amazon UK from £30 - well worth the money ( Cost me £25... the sods have put the price up since Saturday!)

Looks pretty good! How's the bass on those? I'm using some $20 JVC HA-FX40 but I can always upgrade if it sounds sweeter.

The bass is the best part of them. But it doesn't cloud the higher end. That was the main reason for buying them.
I just picked these up from eBay for 25. Found the link through Google shopping. Had a pair before but lost it. Absolutely amazing for the price.

Amazing buds, but a bit let down by the build quality. Mine fell apart. Where the top part is, the glue seemed to come loose and it fell off.
I miss them. The sound quality is absolute stunning on those for the price.
