XDA Forum Widgetized!

So how many of you out there would like to see a widget of the most current topics on your favorite XDA forum? What if I told you the app exists and is already out there. Well you can by simply using the ap Widget Boards by Honcheng! Just put the URL of your favorite XDA forum and boom! I can stay up to date on all of the latest threads right from my home screen. Check it out guys!

BTW, there is a number at the end of each forum URL that corresponds to that forum. If you put a , and another number of another forum, it will merge that feed into another forum feed. So basically I merged all of my favorite XDA forums into one feed.

I don't know if you can mix and match threads but you should be able to use a single thread.

I type in the above url and still get feed error.

Who should I follow on Twitter

right now my Android info only account I follow:
Cyanogen
charansingh
and TwistedUmbrella who hasn't said anything in nearly 2 months...
who else should I follow?

hmmm, I find Twitter more useful now that I don't use it as a social thing and use it more an information hub. Thanks guys for ur suggestions.

[Q] using widgetlocker on nook color

hey all,
Can anyone help me get a custom lockscreen working? I'm using widgetlocker, and I want unlock on the left and a program shortcut on the right... these two things are on the same bar. whenever I try to select a specific app or program, widgetlocker seems to crash then restart. I've seen others on these forums have accomplished this, but no one has explained how. any ideas?

I use WidgetLocker on my NC.
You can't use shortcuts to programs at all unfortunately. It auto-crashes WidgetLocker.
Not much you can do.
And I doubt the author would care to research why it does this on the NC.
Only thing I can think of is to ask if this happens on a Galaxy Tab too.

Possibly, but here's the deal- I got the idea in my head after looking at this page ht tp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=860404&page=17 (sorry can't post links... just remove the space from "ht tp")
About 3 posts from the top, you will see a lockscreen with Dolphin Browser on the right. Either this is a cruel trick, or there's some workaround WE just don't know about... and I'm betting on the latter.

Wait for the next version, it has its own app picker. Also has 8x8 grid.

Nah, semi-closed beta I guess. He gave some folks a beta, it has a few bugs, he has another one planned, not sure if it'll be the released version or another beta. But it's nice having 8x8 and an app picker (nice he fixes basically a NC-specific issue!), some other changes I think.

I was put out when I saw this problem with widget locker after I purchased it but now that this should bd fixed in the next version I am very excited!

Send him an email, just go to the market on the app and click it from there, he'll probably add you in if he has additional builds.
BTW he has sent a new build. Couple small quirks, but pretty nice stuff.

hah- went to his app in the Maket and it says " please stop asking Mr about my next update..." lol

Since the XOOM is a key device (that I can't yet get in the UK ) I thought I'd ask you all directly.

Thanks, I wasn't sure where to put it since it's not explicetly a XOOM app. It's more of a request for testers.

Then you would post it in two places:
1. The android general themes and apps subforum
2. The Xoom related android themes and apps subforum
I will report this so that it gets moved.

There is none for the tab 8.9, lol.
