Hi,
I am using note 8 128gb for china market and it support hybrid sim slot. My problems is:
1. When i use Sim 1 only along with SD card i cannot switch to 4G as given options are just 2g or 2g/3g, i can't even lock 3G
2. When i insert a sim into my secondary slot and remove memory card i get the option of using 4G, now my question are:
Can I swap this from sim2 to sim1? so i may use my memory card instead of 2nd sim OR
is there anyway i can use 4G on my first sim?

I am using XT1068, Updated to latest 4.4.4. I use 3g in the first sim and I noticed that the signal drops to zero in the second sim & some times I get 'Emergency Calls Only' in the second sim. I don't know If the problem is with my network provider or my phone. Pls check and help.

did you try swapping cards ?
are you using micro sim card or cut micro sim card from normal sim card?
Swapping cards didn't help. I tried that before. I use micro sim cut from normal sim.

Hi,
I have a dual sim chinese edition P7.
I went to change the main (3G) sim card today and the sim slot has become inactve.
It won't register any sim card. The second (2G) slot still works fine.
Any idea how to fix the sim tray?
I've got my phone setup with a Fido (Canada) data SIM and MTN (Nigeria) SIM for roaming in the second slot. I am using a sim adapter so a 128gb Samsung memory card is also hooked in. For some reason the MTN roaming SIM will not receive calls, most callers to that SIM card are told the number isn't available. However, if I switch off the second data SIM, the First SIM will then be able to receive calls without any problems. I've taken out the sim adapter and memory card, but this still persists.
Has anyone experienced this before or know a way to fix this?

So the phone is not a dual-SIM phone, it is only with the "adapter"?
It is a dual SIM phone alright. These hybrid dual SIM can either take two SIM cards or one SIM card and a memory card. If you want all 3, then you need to use an adapter to achieve that.
I have a dual sim N9 from Globe Philippines. I just realized that despite it being dual sim, only the slot where the Globe sim card is placed can access data. I want to be able to choose which sim card I'll use for data. There are places where signal is better for the other brand sim so it's only logical to shift to that carrier's service. Is there a way to do that without having to sim unlock the phone?
I have a Huawei Mate 20 lite model using 2 sim cards. The problem I am having is that I can only have one sim card with LTE and VolTE option active. I need to make the other sim to have both LTE and VolTE option active too. Please any advise on how to fix this is welcome.
I did check if this is a sim card problem and I installed this sim card that cannot get active the LTE/VolTE in another cell phone and in that cell phone I was able to actived the LTE/VolTE. So this tell me if not a sim card problem and it is pointing to a device problem.
If this option LTE/VolTE can be active only in one the sim card, then I would like to know how can I make this change to the sim card I want to hace this option. I tried to swap the sim card and did not solve this problem. Please if anyone have any suggestion please let me know. Thanks.
If you have active LTE on that card and the option is not visible, ask the operator if this model is supported.
Also you can check in the developer options if you can select "lte on two SIM cards",
