Flashing Instructions:
To install this ROM you will need to have a latest custom Recovery such as TWRP installed.

SD card mounting problems (show as corrupted)
It's a selinux problem. You can use your sd card putting selinux permissive, how?
1) Open a terminal and type "setenforce 0", insert the sd card.
2) Use an app to do so there should be one, insert the sd card.
3) Try this: link, insert the sd card

Soo, this has the same issue as lineage 15. The external SD card, formated in exfat, cannot be accessed.
Can't use this ATM without exfat support.

I've formatted an SD card in vfat right now, put it in the device and it went fine. To use it as internal storage you must wipe it once inserted in the device

In Linage 14.1 battery drained much faster than in stock, how is it in this rom?
Instaling additional files for games was much longer than in stock?

Regarding fingerprint I haven't found any custom rom where fp is 100% reliable.

Io ho il samsung tab s2 SM-T719, con ancora Android 6.0 stock, non l'ho aggiornato perché ho visto che con Nougat lagga da far paura. Però Android 6.0 non ha molte funzionalità ed inoltre ha un bug del wifi. Mi consigli di mettere su questa rom che hai postato? Il tablet come si comporta? Perderei il sensore di impronte ?

The main new thing is this:
We nuked Jelly, yeah the default browser, and we brought up a new little app called BrowserInstaller that will help you installing a browser in a rost of the most used ones by the community. If you don't have any Gapps package is not a matter since we host the packages on our server, instead if you have a Gapps package installed the app will point you to the playstore page of the browser you chose. After setting it up you can just freeze/disable the app

INSTALLAZIONE
Per chi ha installata la clockworkmod Recovery 4.0.0.4 o successive
Step 1 - Procedura Pre-Flash:
Collegate il Tab al pc con windows o su linux.
Copiate lo zip appena scaricato senza estrarlo nel tablet.
Aprite la shell o il command
Tramite il comando cd recatevi nella cartella dell'sdk precisamente dove c'è ADB.
Riavviate il tab in recovery digitando: "adb reboot recovery"
Così sarete in recovery.
Step 2 - Procedura per il flash:
Una volta entrati in recovery scegliete "Install zip from sdcard".
Fate il wipe a mano premendo su Wipe data/factory reset e su Wipe Cache partition
Scegliete il file che avete precedentemente copiato nella sd (quindi la ROM) e cliccate sulla voce "Yes - Install..........."
Finito il processo vi ritroverete nella schermata di prima.
Cliccate sulla prima voce "reboot system now"
Se non dovesse riavviarsi tornerà in recovery allora tenete premuto il tasto power finchè non si spegne.
Ora avviatelo nuovamente

INSTALLATION:[/ B]
For those who have installed the Recovery 4.0.0.4 or later ClockworkMod
Step 1 - How to Pre-Flash:
Connect Tab to windows pc or linux.
Copy the zip file you just downloaded without removing the tablet.
Open a shell or command
Using the cd command to go into the folder of the SDK is precisely where ADB.
Reboot into recovery tab by typing "reboot recovery adb"
So you will be in recovery.
Step 2 - How to flash:
Once in recovery, choose "Install zip from sdcard".
Take the wipe by hand by pressing the [COLOR = "# FF8C00"] Wipe data / factory reset [/ COLOR] and [COLOR = "# FF8C00"] Wipe Cache partition [/ COLOR]
Select the file you previously copied to the SD (ie the ROM) and click on "Yes - Install ..........."
After the process you will end up in the first screen.
Click on the first item "reboot system now"
If it does not restart, then recovery will return to hold the power button until it shuts down.
Now boot it up again
FLASH SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

Installed it but wireless (wpa/wpa2 ) will not connect. Also i see a italian word at wifi sign ( at kickerbalk by the time )
Congrats and thanks for the rom. I tried it and had few issues. For me it is also not possible to connect with wifi. Furthermore, when I try to install an app from the market ( through dataconnection) I get a bootloop.

well i got into a boot loop. the only screen i could acutally see was the one with the text samsung galaxy tab 10.1v in it
so i had to grab this [stock rom][3.0.1] P7100BUKDF + bootloader unlock, flash it with odin. and them instal clockworkmod and install your rom.

I tried them all .. lineage, AOSP, RR etc. etc. but without solution to my problem ..
Do you then say that it depends only on that?

yes, the problem depends on the merger of wind 3. now in my area it has been solved but not in all of Italy. if you try with a sim tim, for example, it works.

Make sure that you are on the latest bootloader & modem. The latest Twrp recovery too if you haven't already.

exelente trabajo amigo solo algunso detalles que pulir... la rom tiene el mismo fallo que la oreo comp 11.04.19 de un post de moto x 2014, la sim no se activa hasta que reinicias y reinicias y agarra señal la aplicacion de fxaudio solo abre pero no muestra ecualizador... la barra de navegacion debes en cuando muetras una rayas horizontales... en resumen para uso diario va muy bien... espero que pueda mejorar... me gustaria apoyarte $$$ tengo la moto x 2014 nueva y quiero la rom que se necesita para que no olvides el proyecto y la hagas estable???:good::good::good:

Is there a reason for Pixel Launcher dont work? After installing the ROM and the GApps, Pixel Launcher keeps crashing.

If you need pixel launcher i will add in next build, as an optional to select either default or Pixel
Also there are many threads to flash pixel launcher via TWRP, because normal install won't work on all ROMs

Oh, ok. If it wont bother you, I think Pixel Launcher is better than Trebuchet (that is the default), so would be good having it in the ROM already.

Now is it normal to not have a keyboard to setup your phone after installing this build + pico GApps? I can't connect Wi-Fi or use Play Store.
Also I just installed the latest build and after a reboot SIM card was not detected.

I did use:
1. Latest TWRP;
2. Your latest build, and;
3. Latest GApps (ARM, 9.0) pico selection.
No other software was used--i.e. no magisk or anything. I had no keyboard during Setup or listed under Settings afterwards and SIM stopped working after first restart.

Yes, it can handle some light games with the included Ares V8 kernel at 60FPS without problems, some heavy ones are playable but it's not a gaming focused ROM so I won't suggest for you to use it to play heavy games.

After you reboot to system on the first boot, wait for one minute and force reboot your phone by holding Power and Volume down button.
what makes this rom different from other roms here?
would really appreciate a detailed video as i have waited a minute before the soft reboot, but it still boot loops and restarts again and again.
And again , a dead rom
installed this rom and the speakers don't work at all

installed and tested on SM J701f.
smooth and fast.
the only problem was the built in magisk. at first boot, magisk app wont, it says download to complete. but once download is done and installed, everything is ok.
i was hoping if it had an LTE only.
anyway, great rom.

it's uploading later tonight.
i tried a clean install of the 20221102 build; but it stuck in a boot loop.
the 20221105 build has now been uploaded, so i probably acted too soon and should have waited.
plan to try the 20221105 build tomorrow.

Fixing. Build server missed a change for mata.
20221105, boot to Language choose, then it ask factory reset and auto reboot to Lineage recovery.
I dont know what to do next, so I reflash the old one. Waiting for your fix.
I tried re-flash and it works.!

Same here, npjohnson. No boot still. After Essential logo there's a brief blank (gray, not black) display and the phone crashes. I tried to pull logs but the boot sequence never gets there to make it available for adb. BTW, my tester is a Sprint variant.
[Added] The image I tried to install was lineage-20.0-20221110-UNOFFICIAL-mata.zip
I think that the new build is for the 19.1 that was rolled out yesterday.

Same experience here with the last two builds. Even flashed to both slots. Perhaps it has to do with the last Essential firmware that we were on? QQ1A.200105.032 vs QQ1A.191205.017? I'm just guessing.

are you formatting data per the wiki on install? We include firmware, so it isn't a firmware issue.
Yeah, factory reset each time, per the instructions.
I have a second Essential phone still running Official LOS 19.1. I'll try installing on it and see what results I get.

That's a given, but I went a step further once more. I re-flashed the last OEM (.032), then your recovery (lineage-20.0-20221105-recovery-mata) and latest vendor (vendor-QQ1A.200105.088) to both slots, and then side-loaded your latest (lineage-20.0-20221110-UNOFFICIAL-mata.zip), and .... same thing as I described above. We have a puzzler here, huh?

again, I keep telling people this, we include vendor image and boo loader in the zip, so flashing _anything_ before lineage won't change anything.
But yeah, am confused.
