You can download and install it fine. You can even set it up and skin it fine but when the keyboard pulls up its still the default. I miss my big keys!
Me too... Any ideas? :/
Hold the "123" button then you can select "Better Keyboard" as a default.

No I mean when you have your onscreen keyboard display, press and hold "123" button and an option will show up.
I have a 12# button and when I hold that there is no option given???
Click and hold the input text box instead, until a pop-up comes up which lets you choose the input method. (Don't try it on the desktop google widget, of course)
Thanks that worked...BUT
The app gives a message about having to force close. Any suggestions?
I am so close to getting this to work lol
Thanks!
Worked here too. Thanks!
So... quick question: does the GCam have Google Now? I haven't seen it in any of the video, but then again, it IS running google-sanctioned-jellybean...

How do you access it? Can you swipe up from the softkeys like you can on other JB devices with softkeys?

You have to long press homekey and the option comes out. Just like all the other Touchwiz Jellybean UI
so, just to clarify - its on the bottom of the multitasking menu, by task manager?

Yeah! When you long press "home" you get the task manager button, google now button and remove all button
Is there a option or rom that has a feature to change the task manager button to the menu button?
I hate that there is no menu button. Most apps have a separate menu key, but sometimes I just need my own button.
Thanks.
root phone, xposed additions, can remap all buttons.
If not rooted, long press former menu key to get to menus.

Just did a step by step with drawn on screen shots but just realized I can't post them on XDA Lol. I think I need more Posts or something. Either way. You should see:
1. Buttons
2. Add new Key
3. Press the recent apps button. Click ok
4. Add new condition.
5. Screen on
6. Go to click. Then change it to menu.
7. Go to long press. Change that button or disable it.

With the new update for S10 you can customize the Bixby butto to open other stuff.
I want to program the button to automatically drag down the notification bar.
Does anyone has an idea how to do that?

I don't have mine in hand just yet but from what I've seen, the app referred above is significantly more superior than the options Samsung gives for the Bixby button.

I think you need to check out this thread here:

From there, the developer would probably be able to assist you much faster.

They got ride of that feature and went with the Google version of multi window.
Which means:
Tap on recent button
Tap on the app bubble (brings down an option menu)
Tap on either:
Open in split screen
Open on pop up
Other words they dump down the multi window features......
No more slide from corner to popup window.
No more switching the top window with the bottom window once in split screen.
Actually No more option menu when you click on the middle bar that separates the windows. It's just a middle bar that you can resize the windows only.....
Oh well you win some and you lose a lot with Samsung is updates.
