ok...i got this device day b4 yesterday and am fairly satisfied after deleting the LG Bloatware.
however, can any of the respected Dev's of this forum mod the font facing cam 2 record HD (or even D1) videos???....not that i NEED it, but it's just good 2 have something "better" than the stock 1

I've been coming here for a few months and the Moto G6 Play still doesn't have it's own section. When I first joined, there wasn't a Moto G6 Plus section, however a short while ago it was added. Is there a reason for it not having it's own section? I think it would be great to have this; 1. Because if you're a Moto G6 Play user, there's no option to set it as your device. 2. Because it would be a lot more organized and easier to navigate.
Can we make this happen?

That's not an actual forum. It's just a collection of threads, that mostly link to the regular g6 forum. So no, there's not "already one". The section you linked can only be accessed from a browser, not XDA labs. Because it's not actually a forum.

That's what I thought. I didn't think there was one. I searched up and down to find it but I couldn't. I really hope they make a section for it.
