I don't personally use VoLTE since my carrier doesn't have it yet. It should be there but I can't really test it out, so I would wait for you to tell me.

I would like to test but not possible for me.. hope someone confirm this..

I have a problem here in instalation.
The rom does not start. It stays on the first screen and nothing happens.

the ROM has a problem and is that it does not start when we just installed it, I hope and fix it, great.

ive been using this room for a few days and had no problems, the security patch level says October 1st though.

not sure what SKU means, I flashed the squid kernel after flashing the rom and it all works fine, the battery life is awesome.

He mean to say which variant you're on.. like I'm on XT 1550 2GB Ram.. If you dont know how to check this then just remove back cover of you're phone & see Model no. mentioned..

try doing a full wipe then flashing the rom and then the squid kernel, that's the way I installed it and it works fine.

Ooooh!!! I know why it works for you!! You changed the kernel! My kernel is just bad!!! OK. Replacing it with stock Squid Kernel

The ROM is installable with twrp-osprey-3.1.1-r1, the newer version adds support for newer android version. I guess it also means dropping support for older version of android. But again this ROM doesn't boot for me even after flashing was successful.

support wasn't dropped for older versions of android, the rom just needs changing to work with the new twrp, the micro g version installs fine on the latest twrp.

Removed unnecessary build.prop files.
Gapps Updated with latest Pico OpenGapps.
Added few tweaks from Recreated Remix Leopard ROM, thanks to @TecnoTailsPlays.
Better Screen-on Time (SoT) Upto 4 hrs (some users reported it).
ROM boots faster after 1st boot.
Included Android N preview Emoji.
Removed ZenUI keyboard and Replaced it with Google keyboard.

Steps to flash the ROM:-
NOTE:- 1.These steps are applicable for the users
who are on Marshmallow custom ROMs like CM13.1,RR,AOKP,XOSP,AICP,etc.
and want to roll back to stock...and for lollipop users too(obviously).
2.Kitkat Users, Untested, Please Give Feedback.
3.Unlock bootloader is required.
A.Unlock the bootloader and flash twrp (Skip this step if already done).
B. VRY IMPORTANT STEP, DELETE '"ANDROID" FOLDER FROM INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STORAGE TO AVOID FORCE CLOSES
(AND EVEN HOT REBOOTS AT TIMES).
1.Put the necessary files in your EXTERNAL SDCARD
2.Reboot to recovery and wipe system, cache, dalvik cache and data.
3.[IMPORTANT STEP] After wiping all the partitions, go to 'Reboot" option and select 'REBOOT RECOVERY".
4.Once rebooted into recovery again, then navigate the zips and flash it.
(NOTE:-Flash in this order:-
ROM
OpenGapps
SuperSU
Then Xposed (optional, leave it if u don't use it).
Please follow this sequence ,flash supersu only after flashing rom and gapps, else you will get a lot of force closes.Also flash xposed Only after supersu.)
5.After completing flashing process, reboot to system and WAIT to boot the system (Have patience ,DON'T try to force restart unnecessarily)..
6.Once booted, open ASUS autostart manager and allow SuperSU to autostart,
then go to SuperSU and uncheck "mount namespace seperation",check "enable multiuser" and uncheck "tapjacking protection", AND REBOOT.

It is the stock ROM,so has to be stable and based on 5.0 .87 fw....please read the entire post correctly...

In my case the rom wasn't flashing using TWRP 3.0.2, but it might work with urs, so maybe u can try using 3.0.2 and let me know if it works or not...
Even though models are same ,ASUS ships different phones so maybe it'll flash in ur fone via twrp 3....if u can test and help me, I'll be happy..

Actually i hv tried only twice and both the times the recovery restarts.....but if since it worked for others too, I'll update the thread.

Bloat means apps which are preloaded by the company itself and which can/cannot be removed....here, like asus party link,share link,quick memo, and etc...

Something is really wrong with microsd card mount in system. It detects like a new card after each reboot. File system exFAT. Also there is second fat for APPS2SD (f2fs).

Dear dev.I wanted to humbly ask,
has the option to set WiFi region code been completely disabled. It was available in nougat so since its no longer there...I guess its not going to appear later on in the future either.is it?

I think it will come because the nougat rom didn't have the region code option at first but it came on later updates but @opendata knows better

Think that's a los issue, rebooting a couple of times should fix it

Nope, exfat works and DRM should also be included

Wow just installed this rom and tried some things like checking if the system is stable and installing some apps like sound mods. Viper4Android is installed and works perfectly. Nice works thank you very much for that extremly stable and awesome build. Can't wait to see more of your work.

At the moment I'm using SimplifiedOS which made me face some little problems, like when typing the pin code to unlock the phone it keeps some seconds to unlock (this doesn't really bother me becouse I use fingerprint scanner) but anyways I'm looking for a stable, powerful, efficient and debloated ROM, so if anyone has tested this I'd like to know what is the experience with this ROM, thanks for your hard work guys! Keep it up, hope someone develop some AOSP ROM for this amazing device

i flash this rom with DEBLOAT_J530F_2 ( Flash in Recovery )
Now just only 152 System app installed
and get very very fast and Smooth

It works fine, no bloatware just the apps that I need, also you brought back S Health which didn't work anymore on my device becouse of triggerind knox, really appreciate that, I haven't faced any issues, thank's for this amazing ROM!

I've been using TWRP 3.1.1.0 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...pment/twrp-twrp-recovery-j5-pro-2017-t3668266) but when I switched to this ROM I also switched to a new TWRP version posted on the J5 2017 thead, the 3.2.1.0 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...twrp-samsung-j5-pro-twrp-3-1-10-v2-0-t3728233) I think that's why I don't have those problems anymore

I think maybe it was my fault by installing incorrectly the older version of TWRP. Forced Encryption made me struggle, I wasn't used to that, I had a J3 2016 and all I had to do is enable OEM unlock, flash TWRP and it was good to go. Anyways now everything seems to work fine so I'm happy with it.

It doesn't have, we are lucky to have a well treble implemented rom scheme, thanks to rahuls nair, and based on that mokee makes blind builds. I mean they only need to compile a system everyday, hardware and major changes aren't needed due to treble (that work is done).
It's a fork of LineageOS after all.
By the way, been using this rom since the day LineageOS died for Z2 play and zero bugs, hope this helps.:good:

No reboots? I had some reboot issues when I tried the latest nightly earlier today. Clean install, wiped even internal, pico gapps with magisk 18.

No reboots, i am on 20-Feb nightly (I update once time every 2 weeks aprox), will try today's nightly to see if reboot happens to me too.

All ok now, it was gapps it seems. I used the recommendation of nano and all is running perfect, smooth, up to date, mods working, awesome. This Rom should be pinned, not getting noticed by anyone and, it's the only one getting nightlies.

Well, I only have one so I can't say others. I have the JBL speaker mod. As far as I am aware, any mod that works with linage will work on mokee.

It is installed and shown in settings. I can update in play store, it shows update. Tried to update and it fails.

Ok, that is probably because play store can't update it as a system/priv app.

Perhaps the apk can be downloaded and installed there using a flashable zip installer, just don't know if that would mess anything up.

Fails to install. I assume projector mod will work also because that apk is in System, if that is one you need to work.

Well the update adds some settings for mods sometimes, not sure which version the ROM is at , but the change log mentions something about allowing the turbopower mods efficiency setting to be edited with the new update (control at what percentage the mod starts charging phone)
I might mess around with system app install tricks later.

Everything works. Is just a fork of LineageOS with a few addons. Recommended :good:.

And yes... it's 8.1 with most recent security patches available and updated nightly, with incremental updates available for a small donation.
OP can you update the description to inform people that this ROM supports Moto Mods, I am sure that would make many users very happy.

Deleted project.
I was not making progress and others had. This was intended as a kick-starter, i suppose, and that seemed to have worked. Now Much better advanced work is done elsewhere.

Issues have been noted, where built kernel did not boot on "ford" custom rom but did boot on "austin" custom rom.
So after comparing the the build defconfigs, I merged the differing commands that where not screen or camera related, and now I rebuilt the stock level -54 and it did load on "ford" with custom rom.

In the linux stable tree updates are currently at 3.10.108
Current version on Fire device is 3.10.54
I have made success on the first step to 3.10.55
Flash with twrp using the anykernel2.zip attached.
Tested anykernel method on revampted-os with magisk patched boot.img.
Worked fine.
But on rom without magisk, flashing kernel keeps device on boot-animation screen.

Like I mentioned, I tested it on "revampted" and with majisk.
Afaik lineage has SuperSU. I do not know if you can flash majisk or not.
And as of now, I do not understand why that it is only booting with magisk.
Needs testing

Ok, the revamped is still fireos, so this might be related.
The kernel is forcing the addition of "trapz" on the build. Best as I can tell it is some type of logging system. I will try and skip that and see if it might then boot on lineagos.

i made you the stock level subversion 54,
adding it to the upstream folder i am working on.
Got stuck right now though.
After first few merge conflicts i am getting build errors. I must have allowed bad commit or merge.

I have flashed both the Ford test kernels on my two devices. The one with revamped is and magisk , they both worked. But on the other fire 7 5th gen that I have lineagos on neither one worked.
This one that just worked on the 7th gen worked on lineagos. I don't know what was different.
Now the lineagos for the 7th gen was modified from the one for the 5th gen. Maybe that had some other change that allowed it.
Need to check that out.

And what build version boot.img do you have installed.
I see in the ported Austin version of the lineage you are not flashing any new boot.img.

Thanks, the superSU that is preinstalled. Or flashed zip in TWRP.
Either way, I guess I need to try again on my 5th gen. Lineage install. Cause it should have worked, then.
