all note 8 and lg v30 should have hdr mode 4k on the setting tab,now i only get 1080p 4k hdr,does anyone know why or can i do a mod to bring it back stable maybe ogyoutube?

I've been using Asylum Omni Rom 4.4.2 for a while and I haveve a problem with the camera on video recording. When taking photos, everything is fine with the resolution and aspect ratio. But when I switch to video mode, the view is like its zoomed in 2x or more. It feels like the default zoom level is 2x for this rom. I tried some different camera apps like, Google Camera, Camera Zoom FX and Snap HDR Camera, all was the same with video recording. Google Camera didn't even record and crashed when I started recording immidiately and needed to reboot the device to make it work again. Camera Zoom FX, didn't have a video recording mode anyways, and Snap HDR is the save with zoomed levels. I checked on Instagram video option and it was good with the zoom level and everything was fine.
Stock camera app for JB on n7000 var really good with videos. But all I want to know is is there a way to change the default zoom level for an app, or camera. I even tried the Service Mode to look for it but couldn't find anyrthing related to camera or such.
My note 8 is focusing only until 4.0x magnification on 4k recording while on other resolutions it does focus all the way up to 10x
By 4k, you mean UHD? My note 8 950F 7.1.1 can zoom to 10x in all available resolutions
Yes UHD it can zoom up to 10x but after i zoom more than 4x it instantly loses focus at gets blurry also if i start recording already zoomed beyond 4x then it works fine
Does the mi 8 have any kind of stabilization on 4k video?
OIS only I believe. EIS works for 108-p and below.

If you really want it. You could use 4k EIS with "open camera", you need to enable stabilization in settings and then activate "auto level". it just won't be as good as HD video, but you have the choice.
Can someone tell me is there a way while in recording mode to switch between the rear camera to front camera?

I shot to same object using stock miui 11 Camera and i dont see diferences between Hdr, HDR pro and HDR vive, i dont see any info in Internet..
