It's too slippery without a case/skin.

Agreed. Even with a DBrand skin it is pretty slippery! The included case is nice enough.

It's slippery AF. Almost K.O. me a few times when laying in bed as I hold the phone above me. I have gotten a case now but it's just not the same. So, I use it without the case when not fighting bears

I mean I agree. I got the sandstone case and it's now perfect.

Received it today, feels good in hand thans to the 18/9 ratio but very slippery. Happy to have a case (silicon one)

It's a generic looking slab. Very utilitarian. Which some will like, but for me it's too bleh
I like that it's made from plastic, it's a sensible material to make a phone out of. Metal and glass may be considered premium, but I consider it stupid. Plastic feels nicer in the hand and will stand up to knocks better.

I agree as I never understood the obsession with glass and metal either.
Finally pulled the trigger today, any recommendations on case or skin? Looking for some minimal protection for camera bump.

I think the looks are just average. It's not as nice looking as the Nexus 6P but it's better looking than anything from Samsung. It is a little boring I guess but I sure wouldn't call it ugly.
Good looking phone.
From my side I think Nexus 5x looks better than Nexus 6P.
For me it looks like a phone witch someone from Bauhaus design it.
But I like it

It actually look nice in actual.

It's grippy yet at the same time If you're light to touch it's slippery. The phone looks premium business-like. Sofisticated yet not pretentious. The coating on the back cover reminds me of the feel of the Kevlar backs on Motorola devices.
Solid. Tight. Doesn't creek.
Quality of phone feels "assuring". Stainless steel sides give the feeling of sturdiness. Back cover is the type of material that sort of "heal" if there is a small indent/nick.
Gorilla glass 4 on this device seems to avoid and resist smudges compared to the iphone 6/6s.
The stainless steel sides... love it so much
Home run in this category. It feels solid, it looks solid, it's heavier than most and it feels right in my big hands.
Good job LG.
All of things in design is good but i think the back cover could be better than it.
The stainless steel sides is perfect and make a good feeling
I preffer phones are simple design and the front side of this phone is excellent

Ergonomics (in-hand feel)

Switched from M8 then A9, now 10. M8 is too slippery, A9 has the best feel in hand, light-weighted, round corners, feels good. 10's big chamfer does help, but I still prefer A9's in-hand feel.
Looks like they fired all ergonomics/user interface designers. Placement of Power button next to volume buttons is atrocious. Placement of the headphone jack is terrible.
I came from iPhone 6 which was disaster to hold in hands without TPU case, HTC 10 worse because it is bigger and from the same material, I must carry it like an egg until my TPU case finally arrives. It slips from dry hands or pocket like it is nothing. I cannot get used to even take it out on the asphalt because I just wait for it to slip from hands. I dont get all that hype with aluminium housing, Sony and also HTC have had great plastic housings, stupid Apple gave them stupid ideas.
Isn't the black color less slippery?
My only grape is the headphone jack being on top. Previously, I had the M8 and it was very slippery. I don't find that issue with the 10 and i like the weight of the phone.
I have white one and it it slippery like hell!

You mean the silver one?
Yea, the front is white
To me my M8 is much easier to secure in-hand than my 10. Even though the M8 is only slightly curved it conforms to your hand better. I really like the ridged power button on the 10. It helps identify itself, and i use it to help stabilize my grip

it just the same
Very slippery w/o a case
Is a bit slippery. First time having alu phone, and wont buy them anymore, these premium materials are totaly useless on daily 'driving' , need to be careful like with egg. After 2weeks bought Spiegen cover, feels confident with phone now.
Hard to tell which way is up until you can feel the buttons on the right.
could be a bit narrower and slimmer
The lower part hurts, as long as it holds. besides it is very comfortable
For me the weight, and shape is perfect. It's easy to pick it up from a flat surface, as opposed to for example the S7. The aluminium is slippery, but I use a case anyway.

is the metal body steady on palm of hand or sliding?!
I like the phones bodystyle. I also didn't mind the weighted feel of the V10.
At first It felt a bit too slippery for me, the first week I dropped it 2 or 3 times. A case solved that problem but adds bulk. I just got a dbrand skin, it's a matte finish so it's not slippery at all, and retains the original thin profile which feels great.

Feels like a solid tablet. However when looking at the screen at an angle I can see it is quite wobly.
I have had my SGTS5e for about a week now and I think it has pretty good build quality, which is much better than I originally expected it to be.
The case couldn't be any slicker than if it was covered in weasel grease!

The Galaxy Tab S5e is not that slippery. It has a metal casing, which is actually quite grippy
