Help I need stock ROM for qualcom variant - Moto E4 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi. I accidentally wrote twrp on the boot sector instead of the recovery sector before i backed up. Does anybody have a backup of the stock rom? I have a the boost variant but i imagine a sprint variant will work as well. thank you.

it seem that this is not working for now. I flash TWRP 2.7.0.0 m7 version and system can't boot. Go back to the TWRP 2.7.0.8 m7vzw for now and waiting for updates.

You can't flash a bootloader that is not intended for your phone variant, you will brick it. But wait, you are talking about TWRP which is not the bootloader, its the recovery. You can't neither flash a recovery that is not intended for your phone variant!! Recovery and bootloader version have absolutely nothing to do with the message you got about your sim card.

Stop flashing things that are not intended for your M7VZW !!! You will end up messing your partitions. Go read the forums or ask here before doing thing you don't understand.
There also a specific forum for the Verizon Htc one here, you could probably find more precise information for your phone variant.

You are right, my mistake - I mean recovery flash
I was using HTC HD2 on several androids builds before so I get to use with partition mess
All I neet is to get rid of verizon from my toy. Do you think that flashing fimware, radio etc could help ? Something like described here for m7vzw phones http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46506621 but for m7.

HTC Desire 510 EU 64bit version

Hi...
I'm searching Stock Boot.img and Stock rom for EU 64 bit version because i got bootloop when flashed other kernel and now only can access to HBOOT.
IF someone have this things please post is in this thread or in private message,i really need it :/ Thanks.
i need it to plz help "((
:crying: i need it to plz help "((
As far as I'm aware there hasn't been any development yet as far as the 64 bit EU model is concerned. Before you can do anything developers will need to get a working recovery on your phone and then pull the boot and system and such. Be cautious when flashing things to your device that it is meant for your exact model.

[REQUEST] a ROM for 64-bit models A11_UL

I have bricked my Desire 510. I need a ROM to flash through philz touch recovery, if some one in Australia has this device with philz touch can you please make a backup in the recovery and then post it to me! Its my last hope because no RUUs are working.
Either that or make me a ROM that is for the Australian telstra 64-bit model maybe some ome can teach me how to create and compile it my self.
Have you tried a backup first ?

This seems like a Strange question I know, But have you tried doing a BACKUP FIRST ?
Now having had to rescue a couple of these phones (3 to be precise) , (all with the same nandroid backup I might add)
(With No help from HTC - where are the RUU links for our phone I have to ask?, that having been said, thanks HTC for letting me unlock bootloader, (still cool) I take it all back.....)
I have found however that if a flash completes but is no good , fails to boot for example, that if you FIRST, take a backup with philz of your corrupted system, - to allow the recovery to write a last log to (broken) system with mount points, phone specifics about baseband, serial no., etc,.. BEFORE trying to restore a Good copy of a nandroid backup
(hope you have one! )
That you should then be able to restore a nandroid backup to phone. sometimes even a nandroid that failed last time. (due to failing to find mount points)
A quick note on this point is that only backups made while booted into recovery have proven successful when trying to restore backups thus far, all methods of taking backups any other way are/will be corrupted and will not prove in any way useful to restore your device.
Most of the RUU updates are wrong bootloader by the way they are based on 3.4 kernel (32bit) and not 3.10 kernel which is what 64 bit is running.
I would offer you a copy of a nandroid myself but I am aware that radio firmware is tied to carrier and probably would not work for your baseband and carrier setup. If all else fails however you are of course welcome to try, (pm me if you need a copy) I dont think it will be too long before a successful port to our phone anyway.
Good-luck,
ki113r.
Please send me a nano backup when youre on EU models orange romania

i have a similar case, i was able to get 64 bit RUU's from the internet (Asia WWE, and HTC Europe) but i can't flash them, the following is a description of the situation:
1. bootloader unlocked, custom recovery installed.
2. S-ON,
3. no userdata (system partition ?) i don't know the difference, i can flash boot (kernel) and recovery.
4. i can't flash the above mentioned roms since it is saying i have wrong CID, and i can't change the CID because S-ON
any tips ?
* i was able to download, compile & build kernel from source for telstra, i don't know how system (or userdata) image is built, any hint on that as well ?

Hi Mate,
i've got the following:
Code:
cid: TELST001
i was thinking hex editing the zip file to replace the cid, but since its zipped i can't find the plain text to get it replaced.
thanks in advance.
Have u relocked the bootloader and then tried to install the RUU?
I had the same problem with restoring the orginal Rom.
I think the command for relocking the bootloader was "fastboot oem relock"

I've already done that, having the bootloader unlocked will throw another error, this was incorrect CID related one.
my phone is on Telstra (Australia) ROM, sadly, the RUU exists on some Persian forums with paid service, if there is a way where i can compile/build the system image from source, please let me know..

Moving MM 6.0 from un-rooted xt1068 titan to rooted xt1068 titan?

Hello
I am new to the rooting scene and my knowledge is limited, I have tried searching the forums but can't find the info I am looking for if any one can help or offer any information and point me in the right direction that would be great.
I have two identical phones both Moto G xt1068 titan dual sim variants. One phone I have unlocked the boot loader rooted and flashed cyanogenmod 13.0 and the other phone is fully stock MM 6.0.
When I rooted my 1st phone I was silly and didn't back up my recovery or I didn't exactly know how. What I am wanting to do is take a copy of the official MM 6.0 from my 2nd phone and move it to my rooted phone and also make a backup of the original recovery if that is possible without rooting or harming the OS on my original phone.
So my thinking is this.
I would unlock the boot loader on my stock phone and then from fastboot menu run TWRP "fastboot boot twrp.img" and then use that to backup the System / Data / Recovery Partitions.
Am I right in thinking that because I only booted into TWRP, that once I reboot my phone the original recovery and system will be all intact and all I would need to do is re-lock the bootloader?
And finally would I then be able to use the backup I made of my stock phone and restore this onto my 2nd phone were I can then root and make changes to my hearts content?
Is this possible? am I going about this the wrong way? any help or advice is very much appreciated and I hope I have explained in a way that makes sense.
Thank You
