Android CarMeant is an advanced car environment mode for your Android devices.
Android CarMeant will automatically configure your phone in the car,
using various features you can choose to activate and to adjust.
Android CarMeant Pro is the extended version of CarMeant Lite.
It contains the Test features unlockable with the Test Key.

About the application :
Android CarMeant is now in a very stable state, all the features I planned are working fine.
Some new features are going to be added but I want to share and test the app first.
The settings interface should be working on all Android from 2.2 up to 4.4 and higher.
If there is something weird, please make screenshots and report your impressions.
I developed the CarMeant service as compatible as I could,
but it is possible that some features will not work with your phone.

Excellent, I've been wanting this exact thing for ages!
A couple things I've noted (haven't tried the app yet):
- The website it's hosted on is marked as "high risk" by Sophos (can't even view the pics in this thread!)
- The fonts - the icon font could use an update (looks 90s! )
- Comic Sans font on your website.... :silly:
I've been using tasker to do all this, hopefully it can replace that!

Apparently the Sophos issue appeared two days ago,
it's the only service declaring the domain as threat,
looks like they had an issue considering Google Analytics as dangerous.
I'm looking into it since yesterday and I'm contacting them for a correction.
As for the font, it was a joke with a group of developers and friends
and remained that way over the last 5 years ^^.
Was planning on changing it one day,
may be sooner than later xD.

Sophos issue has just been resolved apparently, they updated their database with my report.
Just released a small update with the full french translation, a delay selection for the music playing
and various improvements in the Bluetooth Devices management.
Other features are planned to come soon.

everything is working fine, and I also improved one thing on CarMeant+ Bluetooth management.

First point : It's detailed on CarMeant page and in the PlayStore, I think it's clear enough,
and playing with it gives directly the idea of what it can do.

I updated CarMeant with various optimizations on my applications core,
and with updated libraries to Google API 5.1.1 21.
Notifications have been improved for Lollipop (headsup),
and some securities added but nothing major needed to be fixed.

I've just downloaded CarMeant and am looking forward to trying it. One small thing I noticed immediately: on the first screen, "Welcome in CarMeant" should be "Welcome to CarMeant".

I dont understand purpose off this app either, i'm guess it is for automate tasks.
Like turn on Bluetooth, launch app etc?

It seems related to msm video encoder but yesterday night it was very too late for an investigation. However I keep confident it will be fixed soon
