I got the A2 on T-Mobile USA today. It did one update for a security patch but that was it. The phone is still on Android 8.1. I thought this phone was updated to Android 9 or was that only for the Asian or European market?
I'm a technician , you have to manually flash it via pc. Looks like xiaomi removed the ota upgrade from oreo to pie . This week I had to upgrade manually three mi a2 lite and one mi a2 for some customers . I don't even know if when android 10 ota will be available the upgrade from oreo to Q would be possible
My phone has miui 10 global version 9.5.31 beta version installed and I've tried to download miui 11 update folder but it's not installing is there any way to update it above beta version??

No, MIUI 12 is still a beta ROM, so can't OTA update.
It is possible to install it, if you wanted to try it, but be aware that Xiaomi have closed the Global beta program, so MIUI 12 beta is only available as a Chinese ROM.
If you have a Chinese K20 Pro, then you can download the beta ROM and flash it with the official updater app (click the 3 dots and choose to manually select the fine to install). If you have a Mi 9T Pro it's not as straight forward and requires you to unlock the bootloader.
I think you need to be some sort of beta tester to update Chinese K20 pro to miui12 chinese beta rom. Because so far all the roms are closed beta and nkt a regular weekly beta.
I'm using Redmi K20 Pro (Raphaelin) with locked bootloader. Recently I've got miui12 update but for some reason I didn't update it and now I want to update to miui 12 from miui 11.0.6 but the there is no update showing on system update. What's wrong?

Just kidding. Probably blocked by new India's chinese website blacklisting. Try vpn or manually downloading the rom and flash using updater.

Tried vpn but no luck. Have to download miui 12 manually. Can someone provide correct OTA download link of miui 12 Raphaelin?
Bro wait till 13th july its the end date of rollout for k20pro in india...if still u dont receive the update then update it manually ..i too facing the same issue
