screen resolution - 480x800 pixels
goes very well with phone if you use minimalistic ADW Metrostation icon pack...
how to change bootanimation?
Settings > CyanogenMod settings > Interface > Choose a bootanimation > browse this zip file from your sd card (or whereever did you put it )
1st & 2nd animation loop count can be changed from "desc.txt" file in the zip
preview screens attached (scaled down size)

[BOOTANIMATION]+[SPLASH] Commodore 64 - in HD

Here is a C64 bootanimation and Splash screen/logo that I made - oldskool style. Yes, there is a similar bootanimation around here somewhere, but it wasn't optimized for the 1280x800 res (the images were 1280x800, but they were stretched). So here is an alternative, everything made from scratch in 1280x800 glory.

Use the EOS splash screen changer to flash the new image, and as per usual copy the 'bootanimation.zip' to data/local. Reboot and enjoy : )

[Boot animation] Simple Batman logo

I put together a simple spinning Batman logo animation for my friend, so thought I'd share it here.
Resolution set in bootanimation.zip is 720x1280.
part1 is set to an infinite loop and consists of the spinning logo.
Feel free to edit/share as you like.

[NEW] Paranoid (AOSPA) Boot Animation

Hello guys, I have successfully ported Marshmallow Paranoid Boot Animation Zip
This boot animation is compatible with any Android ROM (except Samsung Stock ROM)
Available for:
720p (HD) display --> 60fps
1080p (FHD) display --> 60fps
1440p (QHD) display --> 45fps (60fps for this resolution isn't available)
If you think the frame rate is too high, you can request a lower frame rate
Please check your phone's display specification before downloading a correct boot animation resolution
NOTE: These zips aren't flashable
HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Open root explorer
2. Rename the downloaded "bootanimationxxx.zip" to "bootanimation.zip"
3. Open system/media
4. Replace the bootanimation.zip with the downloaded one
5. Set permission to rw-r--r-- (0644)
6. Reboot and see the beauty :good:
*make sure you have made your original boot animation zip backup
For Samsung Stock ROM devices: I haven't made the qmg version. If you want to make the qmg version, you may do it and don't forget to credit me OR you can change the bootanimation binary file in system/bin (search in your device thread)
