[Q] External stereo microphones for music recording (concerts)

The internal mic of my Note is not very good for recording sound with video's at music concerts.
Are there any external stereo mic's available that can be plugged into the Note and are capable of recording audio without distortion?

External microphones

hi
as we all come to know one of the oneplus 3 greatest faults is the sound quality from the internal microphones, so i was wondering is it possible to have a external microphone plugged in to try and correct the issue. ive seen the ones that plug in to the 3.5mm jack and the usb ones.
has anyone had success with either of these types of microphones
thanks
I have used an external mic with my oneplus 3 when recording video. I have a Rode Videomic Go that is plugged into a Y splitter that has a microphone and headphone jack. Rode also sells a converter. The only caveat is that you need to use a 3rd party video app (I use Open Camera) that can set the audio source to external.
Are you using the y-splitter because you want to monitor with headphones and/or because the the Rode doesn't come with the right cable to plug into a phone?

Ext mic with muff but internal mic still on
I'm using open camera with a plug in external mic and a diy dead cat wind muff, but the mic next to the back camera and the bottom phonecall mic are still active so they pick up the wind, is there a workaround to disable the internal mics?

Using external mic without internal

I'm trying to take video without wind noise so I've an external 3.5 jack mic and I've made a wind muff for it, however the internal mic on the bottom and one by the rear camera are still active and pick up wind, is there a way to turn them off when I'm using my external one?

How to use a USB Mic on Facebook Live with P20 Pro

Hope you can help!
The stock camera (video) app does not allow the use of an external mic - but Open Camera does.
I have verified that by using both a USB webcam mic (only the mic, not the camera) and USB from my small mixer. In both cases open Camera is happy to take the USB audio rather than the P20 mic.
Here's the question - how do I tell Facebook live to take the video from the P20 and the audio from the USB? I can't see a setting in Facebook live that says (like Open Camera does) , "use external mic when present".
Thankyou!

Note 9 Mic Problem

Hi Guys. I am trying to use a Type C Mic on my note 9.
When I record audio on the voice recorder app, the Type C mic works perfectly.
When I try to record a video using the Note 9 camera, the phone picks the audio from the internal mic, instead of the Type C; even though when I start to record the phone says "recording audio from USD mic"
I tried restarting but the problem continues
Any ideas?
Thanks
UpdateL
I downloaded an app to record video from my phone, and the mic works well with it.
The problem is happening only when I try to use the phone's camera to record, which I would prefer to use. When I use the phone's camera grabs the sound from the phone mic, instead of the external Type C. The phone still says "recording audio from external usb mic" but is not doing it

It could be that the default camera app, which comes with the Note 9 does not support the use of external mics
