Hi guys, I tried changing my profile picture and for some reason, I am getting an error saying that the "file couldn't be uploaded". The picture is 100*100 and is about 2kb. Is there any solution for this problem ?
you talking about the profile pic for this forum? if so, i just tried and works fine for me... maybe you can try uploading the pic on a hosting website instead of direct upload

And based on the playboy bunny avatar, it looks like he figured it out.
He kinda answered his own question (maybe without realizing it), as it says right where you upload the picture: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels

It is showing suggestions now. so this is a patch from google? there wher problems with some apps not showing in the market, google said they fixed it.

yes there was a change, there was another thread on this like 3 hours ago. Basically it only suggests if there are no results ie missed spelled words.

Ok thnx i didn't see the thread regarding to this.
I am an old user of the Jasjar pages and today I've visited the forum and one of the threads had been taken over by a virus spam site. I had to leave the site immediately and scan my computer using my own antivirus that did not detected anything serious, fortunatelly. That is a rotten behaviour. You go to a thread to try to help and get rubbish! Don't remember now which thread but am not going there before someone from inside XDA checks and cleans it.
Somebody less savvy can get a real fright and click on the links. It is very persistent!

Just report this post with the triangle button at to right and pop in any info, and I'll check it out from a pc that can't be infected

I don't seem to be able to find the culprit now. Maybe my work firewall blocks whatever was in there because I cannot detect anything at the moment.
At home I've cleared my history so I cannot tell which thread for sure or even if I accidentally hovered on top of an ad on the page. If I find it again I will make sure I get the thread link first before I do any rescue remedy.

Thanks. The ads on XDA should not be like that, and if they are, that's something we would need to raise to the attention of the admins.
Give us a shout if you find it, with the report post button There shouldn't be anything on here, as it's a forum, so I'm guessing it's links to a site that were the issue?

Cool story dude. well its possible that the pic size you pick for the avatar is too big or there's something wrong with your connection.

Person from USA: "I saw your picture and I could tell from the second I saw it it´s not Mr. X."
Me: What you mean with "second I saw"?
Person from USA: It´s an expression
Person from USA: Like a second
What does "second" mean now?
a) He saw it on the very first picture in the first moment, so second = time second / moment
b) He saw it on the second picture
As I cant contact the person anymore I need your help. There can also be typing errors due to auto-correction and so on.
Saying the second he saw it is another way of saying "as soon as" or something equivalent thereof.

It may be a stupid question, but as it´s really important for me, I ask anyway. How did you clarify it? Whats the difference?
