Hello I have a Huawei p10 vtr-09. vtr09c02b159 build.
When I record a video I cannot mute in the camera settings. Why? How to repair this?
Moreover how to apply to enable the Voice over IP calling (VoLTE? In Hungary? Because from the Mobil network option, missing this option.
In advice thank you for help.
When you switch to the video mode, do you swipe and not see an option called Mute?
I can see but when I activate the mute video. These does not mute the video.
Ahh, sadly what that does is just Mute the sound when you press the record button. You're going to have to get a third party app for that sorry

Has any one tried to play with registry keys to improve some how sound in videos? While recording video, that sound is to weak and bitrate is to low l guess. l have recorded some video clips with Nokia N8 and sound is superb, and same situation and place l was recording video with HD7 and sound in video is so terrible.
Is there any way to control continuous auto-focus during video record, some hack perhaps to disable or enable continuous auto-focus..
This is official Reply from HTC on my email-that l have sent them.
"In regards to your enquiry kindly go to camera > settings > reset to default. Also please put the volume to the maximum. Then try to record a video not more than 5 meters away from what you are filming and please confirm if the issue still occurs."
So funny, bitrate is still an enigma
Yeah, I hate the auto-focus.
It's fine for 5 seconds but then it just starts blurring the video.
Hi, quick question. Is there no option to record video without sound after update to 6.0.1? Mute option in camera settings mutes only shutter sounds.
Hi,
I have my P10 on vibration (no sound) and in the stock Camera-App I've disabled the camera shutter sound. The camera doesn't make a sound when taking a photo with the stock app.
However, using apps such as Instagram or others - the sound is loud and clear!
Any workaround on this? Would be so greatful.

Hey,
As far as I know, Instagram doesn't offer a Shutter Sound option. Other apps may have an option to disable it, just like the stock cam app.
Maybe not use Instagram or use the Facebook Instagram camera (swipe right from FB) because it doesn't make the shutter sound when on silent.[emoji4]

Hi Guys,
As P20 Pro is my very first Huawei device I would like to ask whether:
1) any of You figured out the way to enable developer options in PrivacySpace?
2) there is any possibility to turn the mic off when shooting motion pics or adjust it somehow? I get the impression that mic is way too sensitive and if records too much of the background buzz.
I don't see any mods yet which would remove the camera shutter sound. Also I miss the in-built call recorder option. Can I get them anywhere?

I have no need for a call recorder so I can't help you there but I turn shutter sounds off in camera settings.
You can use Bixby routines to turn off the sound when the camera app is launched. It will disable the shutter sound. When you exit the camera app, the sound will be turned on again.
I guess I'm missing something but why turn off any sounds? Don't all S10 stock cameras have the shutter sound switch in camera settings?

In certain countries laws forbid the shutter sound from being turned off so the phone variants for those countries don't have the option in the camera settings. There are apps that can do it though. My wife has an LG G8 and LG phones don't have a switch to turn it off so she uses No Shutter Sound from the app store and it works great.
