Help, phone wont charge after reboot

Hello, when I got my g1 it wouldn't charge phone would boot up when it was plugged in the light would come on and it would display "charging 0%" on the lock screen and would shut off whenever it was unplugged, with some messing around, rebooting removing reinstalling battery and plugging and unplugging the phone I managed to get it to start charging, all was great other than the battery only lasted like 3 hours, and whenever the phone lost power either by pulling the battery or even shutting it off properly it would revert back to 0% and wouldn't charge again till I messed with it and it would work again, so I ordered a new battery, when it came in I installed it and everything was awesome, I could restart the phone or remove the battery flash roms all that good stuff like it was supposed to, till yesterday, I have had the replacement battery about a month now and my phone was running low on charge since I wouldn't be home for a while I shut it down to save it for later, I was walking by the phone sitting there and I saw the back light turn on and off so I thought dang back to the same ol problem, tried to turn it on and just a dim red led and no power on, when I got home plugged it in let it charge for a few min and held the power button I got the red led and it finally turned on to "charging 0%" I was mad at it tested voltafe at battery terminals and phone terminals plugged in power everywhere it should be but still no turn on, I didn't my messing around again and got it to charge but it was back to 3 hour or so battery life and it would be at 0% if I shut it down, I don't think its the connection with the battery because I haven't removed it in a good 3 weeks or shut the phone off since my last flash 3 weeks ago.
It did this with the first battery before I rooted but here's current setup
Phone is black g1 drea100
Rom htc adp-drc83 rooted base with exp pack
Radio 2.22.19.26I
Recovery ra-dream-v1.5.2
Thanks for any help

[Q] Battery charge when bricked

my captivate has reached the point where it is totally dead. am going to try the jig and see if that will bring it to life. but not big hopes there.
was wondering if i have a battery issue now. will the battery still charge wjen plugged to a charger if the phone is bricked.
the phone only has a black screen. no lights or power nothing.
Remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, put it back in and plug the phone into the USB charger. If the screen doesn't show the battery charge indicator, your phone is most likely beyond unbricking.

Charging in fastboot?/ cant charge my battery,

hey guys im stuck now and would like you see the community imput on this, thank you!
3 Days ago my phone froze (custom rom and kernel), i removed the battery and started the phone up again.... i was **** faced at a concert and was impatient as it was on the htc screen, i went into recover and re installed my rom (i have no idea why i didnt install my nand back up.)
The rom installed fine, than it was loading at the htc screen and after 3 min, i took out the battery (mistake on my part)
and at this point is where i really screwed my self, i did a factory reset from fastboot...
now my battery is dead and i cant access recovery, i can push it there through fastboot but when the phone reboots into recovery it dosnt have enoufe battery...
and i cant install my back up or my rom because of this!
when i plug my phone into charge, it charges for about 2 minutes than turns on... but it gets stuck at the htc logo because i didnt a fastboot reset
To get into fastboot, i plug my phone in and wait till it automatically turns on and than hold the volume button down once it vibrates. this dosnt always work and is quite a skill actually!
When i load fastboot/bootloader and the phone checks for update zip's it says battery voltage is too low!
please change a battery...
I had a similar experience only with a Rom that allowed the battery to drain completely dead before shutting down. Then when I plugged it into the charger it would charge for about 3 seconds and go off. Too dead to charge! The fix?
to buy a seperate battery charger off E-Bay that allowed me to charge the battery externally.
I got one for $8.00 and received it within a couple of days. No way arround it, you need to charge that battery!!! Gary

Xperia Z battery problem

Hi guys my Xperia Z1 was charged to 100% after some use normally went down to 93% next second i pulled the phone out of the pocket it was turned off tried to turn it on got it to vibrate once but nothing showed up on display tried once again few minutzes later it booted up but just went off on bootloader. I came hame and put it on charger phone turned on showing like 50% battery drained it to zero started charging to 100 on 60-70% on charging suddenly went up to 100%
i used phone for 2 days with random reboots and after switching it on showing different percent of battery remaining, today it wont work without charger after i disconect charger phone shuts down. Could anyone tell me if this is problem with battery or its faulty motherboard maybe? thanks
ps. i need fast answer because im about to buy a battery
Tried to boot phone into safe mode and see how it reacts? Also do you use Stamina mode or any other service that changes or reads system properties?
whats the point of booting in safe mode if battery percent is going crazy even when phone is charging wile its shutdown

You have classic symptoms of a dying battery. Replace it and the problems will go away... If you did a search, you would find exactly the same symptoms described by others and the same solution. Your battery can't hold power due to a deterioration of cells.

[Q] Battery problems

Hello, lately I've been having some battery drainage issues with my Huawei Ascend P7.
For some reason it drains really quickly (sometimes even when the screen is turned off). Sometimes my battery jumps from 40%+ to 15% and when I plug in the charger, it jumps back to 30%+ really fast.
My phone is rooted, I'm using Doze and Greenify to save some of the battery when the screen is turned off and I also have "Screen power saving" option turned on.
I have taken some screenshots of the battery usage and one of my phone's specifications.
Does someone know what might be wrong with my phone or could there be something wrong with the battery all of a sudden?
Did you try to reinstall Android new?
Or at first a factory reset?

I flashed B852 package's recovery and boot. Then rebooted to recovery mode, wiped data and cache, then rebooted to install mode and installed B852 ROM (dload/UPDATE.APP).
The phone turns on fine, but the battery percentage just drops so quickly and once it even shut off when it was at 60%. When I tried to boot it back up it said it was outta battery.
And one time when my phone turned off and wouldn't turn back on, I plugged in the charger and it told me the phone still had 32% battery. I turned on the phone, unplugged the charger and it shut off in a minute or two. When I plugged the charger back in, it still told me I had 30%+ battery left.
I think the problems began when I flashed https://forum.xda-developers.com/as.../kernel-huawei-ascend-p6s-p7-k-tuned-t3355223 kernel. But I installed a clean B852 ROM and the problem still persists.
Thats really strange, but this kernel is not the problem.
I also have a P7-L10 B852 and using this kernel without any problem...
But right after installing this kernel I also had some strange problems...
Sometime my phone rebooted it self or if it was locked and I pressed the power button to wake it up, it just stayed black and it got really hot...
I don't know what py phone did at this moment because if you are looking at the battery info in settings, it says my phone just was turned off and even lost battery but it wasn't really off...
My solution was a clean install (erasing and flashing every single image and after that 3-button-method)
After that boot up your phone
Now shut it downs install the kernel again
Boot up
Shut downs
(Maybe flash original boot.img
Boot up
Shut down)
Install kernel again
Boot up
I'm using this kernel for more then a half year now and I don't face any problems anymore...
I think the battery itself was the problem. I removed the back cover, removed the battery and cleaned the connector pins with alcohol. When I turned the phone back on about 30 minutes later, under "Power saving" smart power plan option shows me the phone will last for 11 h 30 min at 83% (WiFi turned on), when it used to be like 2-4 hours at 90%. I'll keep monitoring for a while to see if the problem is truly gone.
Thanks for your help.
//edit1: Never mind, I tried playing with the CPU voltages and it froze, so I turned it off. Turned it back on and the problem was back. It jumped down from 80% to 14% and in a minute or two, the battery died. When I booted it into recovery, TWRP says I still have 34% left. So I rebooted into system, it showed me I did have 34% left, but it turned off. Going to try your advice now.
//edit2: Got it to work properly again. Hopefully I won't touch something that will mess it up again.
Maybe your battery itself is the problem but to proof that you will need a second P7 to change batteries of them...
But such extrem battery-problems I have never faced...
You could send it to Huawei support, maybe they will say you if your battery is damaged...
So you could buy a new one and change it
Have you tried calibrating your battery?
I don't think it's a calibration problem
But if you want you could try it...
Charge your phone to 100%
Now delete the batterystats.bin at /data/system
Reboot your phone
Use your phone normally and let it discharge right before it's shutting down it self (3% I think)
Now charge it again to 100%
While charging your phone you should not touch it or unplug the charger
Last night I went to sleep with the battery being at 90%+, woke up to my phone being dead (the alarm didn't go off).
Tried turning it on, it showed me I had 50%+ battery, but it turned off shortly after. I plugged the charger in, and it said I have 58%.
And yes, I have tried calibrating my battery. But I can try doing it again when I get back home from work tonight.
//edit: Battery calibration didn't help. I'll just have to wait until the new battery arrives. Or should I try locking the bootloader?
Why you want locking your bootloader?
Do you want to send it to the support
If you already bought a new battery, wait for it and put it in
Seems that the battery itself was the issue after all. After putting in the new battery, everything seems to be back to normal.
