Windows Vista Mobile Center problem

Hey everybody,
Im trying to connect my diamond via mobile center so that I can manage my contacts more comfortable.
My problem is........suprise...it doesnt work -.-
When I plug in my diamond and choose "Active Sync" on the device, somethings trying to install (WM whatever device) and then it stops with the message that drivers are not found and device is not installed properly.
When I open Mobile Device center, I see that after I plug it in it starts searching but never comes to an end, and the installation also fails.
Any idea what went wrong? I have Vista 32bit SP2.
I also installed the setup for more drivers for mobile center. I uninstalled it a thousand times but it simply doesnt find my device and the drivers for WM device...

Works for me, but browsing files on my diamond via Mobile Center never worked.

Well nice that it works for you, tell the whole world buddy but why do you write in this thread when u dont have a solution or the same prob....

Have the error message Code 10, device cannot be startet

Code 10 is a Driver problem.
What hardware is reporting the error?
Have you updated the Driver and directed it so System 32?

Please Help SEUS !!!

I run SEUS software on Vista everytihing was ok. After that I run same software on Windows 7 and it's not running after SE logo it goes to white blank screen only help button is available and the inside window nothing works..can somebody explain why not running on Windows 7 it's nearly same functions as in Vista.

I have the same problem. Anyone got a clue?

It is not support Windows 7 yet. The program detected it and refused to run. It just that.
Also Windows 7 is in beta stage, you shouldn't expect it to run majority of software smoothly.
I would suggest VMware to run WinXP on top of it in case like these.
Try running in compatibility mode and see if that works.

Windows 7 does actually run all of the programs I used to have in XP, but not this however :/
Tried running in compatibility mode but that didn't work either.. Oh well.

HELP NEEDED! Flashing my X1

HeY Guys...
I've been reading through nearly every single help file which is dealing with debranding/flashing the X1 but I can't get on the right path...
I've downloaded X1_HardSPL and tried to flash my cell phone, but it doesn't work: Always the same: Lost connection to X1... (after my phone started in boot/update mode
X1 shows after the RGB monitor a gray window with "Loanding..." in it...after a few seconds, HardSPL stops the process...
System: Windows 7 RC1
every program and firewall turned off - even via TaskManager
no SIM card inserted
USB cradle directly connected to my laptop (no HUB)
Have you got any idea? I'm sure you have one... Thanks in advance!

I have exactly the same problem. I hope some one have an idea to fix this.

Hello,i got win 7 and dont have any problems with flashing x1,make sure you got phone connected with mobile device center,minimize the mobile device center,than start the hardspl.
My phone is connected with cable not via cradle i think the best and safest way is to connect directly.
Mobile device center is important because of drivers for X1.

uninstall active sync...reinstall active sync.

when the phones about to go into the bootloader a notification comes up (did on mine anyway) i said yes to the notifiication and mine worked!

HTC TyTN II - Windows 7 - Help Please!!!

I've almost but given up on this, can someone please help me. I'm trying to get my HTC TyTN II to sync with my windows 7 ultimate laptop (64 bit)
I'm trying to install windows mobile device centre 6.1 (the latest, I've downloaded and tried it again a few minutes ago). I've tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the software and it just won't install It gives me the dialog box asking me 'Do you want the windows mobile device centre to make changes to your computer' If I click on 'yes' that's it, nothing else happens
Is there any hope? I can't believe microsoft could have released such a ****ty os with no proper testing with windows mobile devices. This used to work flawlessly with activesync
Please, any help will be really appreciated. I've seen some posts about people having luck with this

MTP access denied and Mobile not detecting

Hello, two days before I have given my mobile to htc service center due to purple color issue and speaker issue and both solved successfully and bought my mobile back and when I connected my mobile to PC and my mobile not detecting and when I see in device manager and try to update driver it says "MTP USB Device access is denied".After that I have downloaded file manager in mobile and opened and it shows the whole files are in storage/emulated/0 which I didnt see it before.
So your help will be much appreciated,
