I bought a new cdla earphones I'm on custom rom when I was in call there's a lot of distortion ....
Is it the hardware problem or software did anyone faced this before what can I do to make the distortion clear
And the voice is not clear too

Recorder and player work. ring tone heard, but I can not call anybody, because neither I nor hearing, nor I can not hear.

Hi for Pocket Pc 2020 there is two problem in Audio
1- If you have Speaker Problem please try with headset if it is working change headphone Connector
2- If you have Speaker + Ringtone problem you must change Audio IC
I have the same problem..
Mine sometimes has audio with rigtone.. But as some as I answer the call Can't hear anything.. If I try to put on an music our change the rigtone can't anything..
How can I change the Audio IC??
Or buy one to change..
Using headphones for phone calls voice quality is perfect but as soon as I take out the headphones out the sound deteriorates and sounds like i'm calling from a boat.
make sure your not covering up the microphone ports.

I have problem with Bluetooth Headset when doing a call running CM11 based rom. When I started a call I cannot hear the one I'm taking to also she cannot hear me speaking. I have a Samsung Stereo Headset and it is working on Stock TW Rom. Is this a common problem for cm11 rom?
The Music and system sounds are working and I can hear it except the talking part during call. Any solution if there was one?

i have the Xperia Z3compact for over One Year.
I'm on the road every day, so I use the Sennheiser Presence Bluetooth Headset for any call.
My only Problem is when calling; other's hear me to low! They have to increase their speakers to maximum and had problem to hear me. The Sound Quality is very good but they here me too low.
I have tested every Rom from (original) Android 4.4.4 over 5 Lollipop Versions (stock and rooted Rom's) and now on the newest Sony Android 6.0.1
-all with same bad results
When I'm calling with the Phone (without Headset) all here me perfect and loud.
But not with the BT Headset!
Then i have tested Cyanogenmod Cm12.x and wow the Problem with Bluetooth headset is completely gone
All here me loud and perfect!
But on CM the camera Quality is gone and I have the fisheye problem.
Now the big question:
why is the BT Headset outgoing mic volume louder than on any other Rom's?
And is there any option to increase the Bluetooth outgoing mic volume with a rooted (stock) Rom?
I know about the mixer_paths.xml file.. but no one ever, write here; How to tune the Bluetooth outgoing Mic volume!?!
All only tune the z3c inside mic's and speakers..
CM Mod is nice but buggy there is no stable Version and the cam quality is crap.
So please, if any one have a idea what I can try? to increase Bluetooth Mic Volume!

The Problem is not my Hardware...
I have tested the Bluetooth Headset with other Smartphone without problems!
I have tested the Headset with another new Z3compact -same result other here me to low on BT Headset Calls.
So there is no Hardware defect.

I have s3 (us version of le2) on stock ROM and am experiencing issues with hearing other parties during calls after unplugging headphones. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing similar issue on custom roms?
I had an outstanding ticket with Leeco. So if I unplug the cdla headphones after listening to music, My calls would be muted, phone is still routing sound to the headphone.
