That means latest updates as well of almost any android too be it stock or not!!
I wanted to know why is there no post regarding this?
Moreover this requires twrp which is already available and the vendor.zip needs to be found and then we can install any gsi rom out there be it lineage, pixel experience etc etc... Pls help pls as there is virtually no development for android 10.

Hi , I have an A305F/DS , I did a flash with Odin to android 10, I had lost my signal sim and actually I'm under custom also without signal sim ! Any solution ?
Hello everyone, today I decided to install a custom rom on my device (Asus Zenfone 5 ZE620kl). To do that, I installed TRWP custom recovery so I could flash WaveOS 4.0 android 11 rom on my phone. Everything went pretty smooth and the rom looked very fluid and very likeable, however, whenever I try to turn the Wi-Fi on it turns off by itself and sometimes it even causes the rom's android to crash/stop responding. Since I'm pretty new to the custom roms world and such, I would love to know if by any chance there's something I'm missing or if the rom itself has this problem. I find it weird because I tried evolution X 5.3 aswell and had the same problem.
Thanks in advance guys.
I have the same issue, did you figure it out??
Hello everybody,
i am looking for a working LineageOS rom for my Samsung Galaxy SM-J530F.
The only version that works for me is lineage-15.1-20180510-UNOFFICIAL-j5y17lte.
( The SIM is recognized and rooting is also very easy. However, the rom sometimes hangs up and I often had the problem that the mobile phone hangs up and all files are deleted after a normal restart ( no factory reset ).
Maybe there is someone here who can recommend a Lineage or AOSP rom, which works for the most part. I have already spied on several LineageOS versions but unfortunately the SIM is not recognized in all of them.
I thank you all and wish you a nice weekend! nice greetings from Germany.

Nip over to the j7xx pages, they are far better updated and most of the roms work fine on my j53fm 10 Q for J5 J7… | Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017)
I am currently running android 11 on my j5 with no major issues.
This thread shows LineageOS 20.x support for many J5. Unfortunately, j5y17lte is not supported.
Can anyone explain what are the differences between say j5ylte and j5y17lte, and how difficult it is to edit the sources in order to support them?
I'm a developer but not a mobile devices one so I'm wondering how much work is in there and how to get started specifically for porting j5y17lte.
Supported phones by the thread linked above:

j5lte

j5lteub

Hello everybody.
I like doing small repairs in electronics. In the past I have reflasced in some wifi routers and installed LineageOS in an old Sansung Grand Prime SM-G531F.
Instead I have not been able to unlock the bootloader of my Meizu M5 (M611H) for months. There are many self-styled guides but in the end they give generic indications for the majority of android systems. For example, I do not need external applications to root because it is provided by Meizu itself through the login on the Flame OS site, and the other thing is that Meizu M611H in the developer options does not have the "Unlock OEM" option. do it via fastboot commands. I'm really desperate ...
Hi, you can flash this twrp recovery with mediatek flash tool.
you not have to unlock bootloader.
Meizu M5 TWRP
Hello. Thank you!
I will certainly try to flash you twrp.
Could you please tell me which is the best firmware you have found for this device?
Thank you very much!

The kernel source code of this device is not open source.
incapable of action.
This device has lineage 14.1, which was created by the Russians, but there are many problems, such as the sound doesn't seem to work !
Only official firmware can be used !

Can I use mediatek flash tool with any Flyme Firmware installed on the M5?
In the past I always reinstalled the first Flyme 5.2.10.3G version
while trying to install twrp.
I currently use the version 7.8.8.31 beta which I found on page Flyme 7 Experience Beta for M5 & M5s.
If I can't install a custom rom, how can I take advantage of the trwp? In addition to doing the root and being able to make a full backup of the rom image?
Thanks Iamverycute!

Yes, you can.
All functions of this recovery are available.
If you try to install Android 5, after restarting the device, this recovery may fail !
Hello,
after two month of normal using without any experiments or flashing / rooting my Redmi Note 11 stuck in an endless bootloop similar as descriped here: Xiaomi Note 11 stuck to rebooting into recovery mode 5.0 after unlocking the screen
I was not able to do any recovery so I ended up to wipe all data and now the phone is booting normal and can be used again.
But befor I'm going to start setting up my phone again from the scratch (because Google backup did not work) I would prefer to use a custom rom without all of these ****ty MUI apps like cloud, video and pdf viewer and round about 7 billion other apps which are anoying me with endless popup messages and registration requests.
This will be my first try to install a custom rom but I already found this tutorial: [GUIDE] How To Install A Custom Rom On Redmi Note 11
First of all thanks for the work of this tutorial I think this will help me doing the first steps.
So here is the question:
Is there any working stock Android 13 custom rom for the Redmi Note 11 without any unneccessary extra stuff?
seems that crDroid could be close to what I want: [ROM][OFFICIAL][12.1-13.0] crDroidAndroid 8.x - 9.x [SPES|SPESN]
what would you suggest to me?
thanks and regards
Stefan
Hi Stefen,
Seeing as how long it has taken Xiaomi to get Android 12 to our devices via OTA, and even there it appears most have STILL not recieved A12 via ota and have had to force the update...
It's unlikely we'll see Android 13 / A13 anytime soon.... I reckon we won't see stock Android 13 for at least another year or more...
Not to say we won't get it, as our devices are supposedly supported to A13 and Miui 14.... but based on timescales, we're a long way off yet...
Cheers, Lister
ah ok, thanks for the clarification. I thought Android 13 is possible yet.
So I guess the right question is: is there a clean stock Android 12 for the phone?
Hi Stefan,
No probs, depends on you're build of current official stock rom. The easiest way to find out, is download the Miui Downloader from PlayStore.
Then head to this page, and find the appropriate rom for your current rom.
This Windows app, will also help you find what you need....
Thanks, Lister
I think the xiaomi.eu roms are debloated but it's still miui

Xiaomi.eu performs better than stock MIUI but worse than AOSP custom ROMs. Based on my experience with 13.0,5, it took almost a minute to boot whereas with Evo X 13 and PE+13, it boots half a minute
