Even if you buy a QC 3.0 charge, the device will still charge at normal speed. So, there is no need to spend extra on QC 3.0 charger.

Not sure about supercharge but Anker make the best battery packs
After a YouTube review from Max who gets "high" on Android LOL I picked this one up and I've been in love with it ever since. Reasonably priced and charges fast.

Do you have a Huawei Mate 10 phone and if so do you get supercharge when connecting it to power bank?
Supercharge is not the same standard as Quick charge as far as I understand it.

Here is a link to Huaweis own powerbank that supposedly support supercharge, if it is compatible with the Mate 10 I don't know...

I belive there is a 20 000 mAh version as well

I have the Mate 10 and I can't say if it supports supercharge because I've only had the phone for 3 days and haven't used it with this device yet. I'm aware quick charge and supercharge are different.
I thought the OP stated looking for a power bank and supercharge would be great so I didn't think it was mandatory. Just throwing a power bank that I've used with other devices that works well.

Wish Huawei would have thrown in a car charger in with the phone. Supercharge is great but QC Quick Charge is so common. Heck I probably have 10 each, house and car QC chargers. Even the 5a USB cables are hard to find at a good price.
The best power banks are made by Anker
Huawei has supercharge car charger and the powerbank 18w and 32w. 18w supports QC 3.0 and 32w supports the supercharge. Also you need to use 5A usb c cable.
starts from mate 9 supports all kind of qualcomm qc, shown by thunder icon inside battery icon
1 big thunder - qc 2.0 run
1 big thunder and 1 small - qc 3.0 run
2 big thunder - supercharge is charging
All in One

Hi Leo,
I would highly recommend using the Xiaomi Mi Powerbank 2.0. I have the 20000 mah one and it supports both QC 3.0 and Hauwei Supercharge. I have tested this on Hauwaei, Samsung and Pixel. Just be careful to buy it from a reputable site so that you get the original one and not a knock off.

What Huawei phone did you use?
What readings on the Ampere app do you get when using the Xiaomi Mi Powerbank 2.0 on the Huawei phone?
I have the Huawei Supercharge powerbank.
Bought it from tvc-mall: https://www.tvc-mall.com/details/hu...or-huawei-p10-mate-9-black-sku101705094a.html
The AP09S supports supercharge, the AP09Q doesn't, so make sure to get the AP09S.
I bought the official Huawei one mentioned above this week. Very impressive. Charges like the wall charger and comes with a 5a rated cable.
You can also reverse supercharge the power bank itself.
Well worth it.

That's not true.
SuperCharge requires 4.5v 5A and MI bank2.0 is not capable to provide it !
I'm thinking on buy a Qualcomm Quick Charger 3.0 to use with my Redmi 4X
But I'm worried about the battery health in long term. Isn't it bad for the battery?
Anyone been using a Quick charger on this device?

I think the battery will quickly heat up, and high temperatures could affect battery life. Just my perception, because by default R4X does not support QC 3.0
But I do not know if using mods are provided developers xda. Maybe it can minimize it.

Does this support QC3? I have two chargers I bought for my HTC, wondering if they'll likely to work currently.
No that's a qualcomm product. This doesn't use a qualcomm CPU. It has a faster form of charging called Huawei Supercharge.

U have to use Huawei original super car charger for this to work. Quickcharge 3.0 can be use but only give you normal slow charge.
Tempted to get something like this that support both Qualcomm and Huawei standards - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B076KR1N7F/

Yeh just seems a good idea to have one that also supports Quick Charge as other family members have Samsung devices with Qualcomm processors.
Anker Powerport Speed 5 is working perfectly in Super Charge on the 2 USB Quick Charge 3 and Super Charge (slower) on the 3 other USB slots
Does it detect as fast charge or slow charge on the Anker powerport?
i'm using a Mi powerbank pro, it supports QC3.0 and also huawei fast charge, not as fast as super charge, but it'll get the job done.

Is that the first generation or the second generation?
Original charger hits 1700mA while Quick Charger 3.0 hits 2300mA. Screenshots below. I'd like to know if anyone else has done a similar test so we can compare results. I bought a (supposedly) Quick Charger 3.0. The results are obviously better but I'm not sure if its supposed to be higher or not.
SD660 can even do Quick Charge 4, but for Mi A2 officially only in india.
https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon-660-mobile-platform
Global version might need a patch.
This this means that we can use Quick Charger 3.0 or 4.0 without harming phone's battery?

Mi A2 has official support for QC 3.0 (and 4.0 in India only). Of course you can use it without any harm.

That was my doubt too, the global My A2, perfectly compatible with QC3.0, without causing any damage to the equipment, that was my fear, but now ready, subject clarified ... I use QC3.0 Lenuo.

Exactly! i really don't know how that works.. Does that mean that the original charger is somehow a quick charger?
Empirical evidence suggests that Oreo seems to show "charging rapidly" anytime amperage is above 1 amp or so, it has nothing to do with using a quick charger or the original brick supporting quick charge.

No guys. I found:
0 - 999 mA = charging slowly
1000 - 1499 mA = charging
>> 1500 = Charging rapidly
Not sure if MiA2 use the same parameter.
Nice, I was gonna say 1500 cause that was kind of what I remembered but wasn't totally sure. 1.5A is typically rapid enough to charge with relative speed even while the device is in use which is probably why that was picked. I agree that they should probably provide a reading above 2A to signify quick charging as "charging rapidly" is definitely confusing.

I was asking myself what will happen if i charge my p20 pro using p30 pro 40W charger,,, will my device charge faster or will remain the same as my original charger speed, or will the speed will be decreased ?!
Does any one has idea ??

It will charge at P20 max, also the adapter or phone might get warmer because it has to get rid of the extra power.

It can heat up your device (maybe lead to fire). Pretty sure it will have a bad impact on batterylife.

It'll charge but it'll probably do more harm than good especially if you overcharge with it.
