Ahoi!
Finaly I installed Xposed, but now I'm facing a problem:
When I set my preferred MicrosoftLauncher, it shows only until I press Home or Backbutton from other apps or reboot.
Then again the launcher/homescreen falls back to stock Launcher3.
The dialog, asking for default launcher does not show.
Same Problem, when choosing Launcher from settings, as when starting MicrosoftLauncher by app icon.
The dialog however shows, when I choose the "set-default" option in the MicrosoftLauncher settings – but the setting only persists until reboot.
Any suggestions how to set and keep my launcher settings?
problem persists

Problem is still there – any solution or hint?
I'm almost about to write some kind of script, that manualy switches to MS-Launcher after boot – does any1 know, where default launcher is stored in config-files – maybe it'd be enough to just insert the right value while init at boot…

The phone is "working", i can turn volume up and down, can acess ATK but i can acess nothing of the system cause every time the Go Launcher force close.
When i press the force close button it just appear again and ask to force close and it keep going on and on and on...
Can anyone help me??

Try to change the theme, I have no issues using go launcher. You can also remove user settings from manage apps, if you run out of ideas. Though it will realy wipe all go launcher settings.
Problem solve with a factory reset.
PS: I wasnt able to acess any options menu, i could acess only the status bar.
Hi,
I'm using Cyanogenmod 11 in my Sony Xperia SP and since Trebuchet is the default launcher, wanted to try out Google Now Launcher. However, after installing it from the Play Store, I'm unable to switch from Trebuchet to Google Now. The main reason being:
1. There is no Settings > Home options (where I can switch the launchers).
2. Tapping on the Google Now Launcher tells me to clear defaults in Trebuchet and then press home button, however, the clear defaults button in inactive.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem will be a great help!

Neither on stock there's. Have you tried to locate in settings > apps, the active launcher you have?
In its info should be a voice to reset "its default state" and then you could choose your favourite launcher pressing home
I installed another launcher, now every time I tap the home button I get to choose which one I want to use.
What if I choose to "always use launcher X" and then I'll change my mind, the setting screen doesn't have launcher options...
Any idea how do that?
You go into settings -> apps + games, manage all applications, find the launcher you made default, go into it, click clear defaults.
So today, after loading an app, my Nokia 8 decided to reboot itself. After rebooting, a few things ceased to function.
The Home button no longer worked. The recent apps button stopped working, I can pull down the notification bar however, the settings button and extending the notification bar to show notifications no longer functioned.
On top of this, Google Play stopped functioning with regards to installing software and you will notice that you cannot access the developer options anymore (as well as all your personal settings being reset!)
Was at a complete loss at what to do... I managed to install the Nova Launcher from an apk file from there accessed the short cuts to the Setting Wizard and re-ran it.
You can re-run the setting with the same email address and as soon as it's finished, everything should be working back to normal. You may need to reset a few preferences (such as keyboards etc / glance screen etc) but at least all the buttons work again.
Step instructions:
- Download Nova Launcher. If you cannot from the google play store, search for it on Chrome and download an apk version
- Install it (you may get a pop up advising you need to let apps installed from chrome, go to settings and allow it)
- Once installed, click on Open. This should launch the Nova Launcher
- Long press anywhere on the screen
- Choose Widgets.
- Look for the Activities widget and hold and place it anywhere on the screen.
- Scroll down to Setup Wizard. There's two, one that's "Setup Wizard" and the other "SetupWizard" without a space. Choose the first. There should be an option under it called ".SetupWizardUpgradeActivity". It might be slightly different for you pending the version OS you have but that's what came up for me.
- Select that to create the widget shortcut then click to open.
- This will bring you to the setup wizard and then just click Next all the way through (turn off any preferences you may have in the past)
And voila. Back to normal afterwards!
Note: You don't need to use Nova Launcher as your default launcher. You can even uninstall it if you want.
Works!
Thank you, this totally worked!
I think Skype crashing and crashing the phone caused this for me. It's getting an uninstall as a special thank you.
Cheers,
Peter
Please help! I don't see any option for setup wizard!

you can simply disable stock launcher by launching this commands with adb :
adb shell
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.bbk.launcher2
but Navigation Gestures problem can't fix. You can fix Launcher problem sure

It's working in rooted mobile with quick switch magisk module previously I have OnePlus 5 it's woring fine with this method.
I got it to work on my non-rooted Vivo X60 Pro+ even when im using nova launcher, it took quite awhile to set it properly
I've replicated my steps twice and both times work for me
0) Start from the default system launcher
1) Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > More security settings > Replace the system launcher and toggle it
2) The phone will ask you to login to your vivo account. I had to create one, might as well cause its needed for the e-warranty card
3) Once you're in, enable "Allow the launcher to be replaced" and ensure the "Tap the home button to lock the system home screen" is disabled
4) Head back to Settings > System navigation and reselect the Navigation mode of your choice
5) Go back to your home and open the "Interaction Pool" app, which came with your phone by default. This will launch the 3 screen overlays. Close the app once you're done
6) Launch Nova launcher and use it to select Nova Launcher as the default launcher from the grey warning (!) message above
if (6) did not work,
7) go to Settings > Application and Permissions > Permission management > Permissions tab (on the top header) > Default app settings.
8) set the Home Screen to Nova Launcher
You should be able to use the swipe navigation gestures
