After update to latest firmware on N950F DS, - Android Security Patch 1 November 2017 music stopped( paused, like im touch pause button) in the background randomly on MX Player. Checked all solutions i can remember-deleted third party players, turned off sync, gestures, etc, even tried MX Player 3 different versions including two Pro and 3 Free ones, same things happens(thought that it is up to MX, but it is not, on S7 that is not problem)...
Sometimes music paused by it self for about 15 mins of playing, sometimes on 35.26... but it is paused and when i get back in Player it continue to play like nothing happens... Anyone else with that kind of challenge or with solution to this?? Here is on attachment system - software info(see Attachments):
And btw, it is never happens before this phone, i mean ever. and, MX Player is my preferred player(playing videos in the background when screen is off), that is why im asking about it and that is why im using it, didn't tried with other background players, yet.
And to be more clear, videos are all smaller than 720p or equal...

I did, but phone doesnt giving me that options, latest what i can get is: 1.November, even when i do refresh Manual Update from Settings... Maybe through Odin??? R U sure, or do U know that it wont lose OEM unlock option as well??

Open MX Player music and check if Background Play is on or maybe u enabled some Power Saving on your phone.

Checked all things mate... many times, but.... i know what it was... next post :good:
btw, issue of background play is on MX player*any version)... it isnt compatible fullest to Nougat 7.1.1 and UX 8.5 yet... so as dedicated kernel as well, by my opinion. Other background players works fine also in previous firmware version(1.November)...
Now im on(well, Note8 G950F DS is) BQKG/XEF latest firmware from 1.December and everything is slightly better in almost any sense or it is by my imagination? Doesnt matter, work just fine and pretty so as well

EDIT: OK Sorry for the insane title, i started this thread a long time ago and there has been no help. There has got to be another CM7 / MIUI user out there with a similar problem.
I have searched for a solution, but i didnt find one. Some one please shed some light on this. We gotta help one another.
Hey i need some help here folks, i have searched and searched for an app similar to "Samsung allshare " but i have had no luck.
The apps i have found are too confusing or just dont work.
Is there anyway someone can make the "allshare " app work on a non samsung rom??? Or even so is there an app (free) that can do the same without blowing my brain to smitherines??

well i would like to stream from my PC to my Phone, so i could watch some fishing videos whilst my girlfriend watches her soaps...
I have used Twonky, but that fails to play videos, Music and pictures are fine..
I do not know of any other apps i have searched everywhere

after searching the net for a long time i found the perfect alternative "gmote" its simple enough to setup.. hope this helps!!
haha... i have just downloaded gmote.
it lets me play movies on my PC fine lol... when i select the option to play on the phone, it gives me an error..
im going to download a compatible player and see if gmote will direct it to that...

got it working..... Downloaded Mobo Player, now Gmote directs the media to that and it plays
so happy of this outcome lol, couldnt believe it was so difficult. Now i just need to find a way of storing to the cloud, to watch anywhere in the world

and hey i have a doubt.. i am on simply honey 3.6.1.. i want to go to cm7.. but i'm also impressed by miui , can u suggest me which i should use ?? and also can u suggest anyothers tweaks i should perform to make the fone fast?( i know i cant use normal kernels like damian).. if possible list out the tweaks done in your fone after installing miui..thanks!!
MIUI is pre loaded with tweaks. the rom is blazing fast.
there is nothing you need to do with the rom, the latest release comes with tk glitch kernel which is incredible . also allows over clocking to 1.6 ghz, but this is so un necessary.
battery life has also increased in this newest release, and new updates coming a few times a week.
i cant recommend MIUI enough..... its the future of SGS ... the future of Android

If you do go over to miui you can add in the touchwiz framework and see if allshare works with that.
I haven't tested it, so I honestly can't guarantee it will work.

tried that the moment tw framework was added lol, it didnt work , although some samsung apps DO work... weird...
I can play flash videos on other pages but when trying to watch anything on biography.com I just see the great screen. No plug in icon in the middle...?? What am I doing wrong pray tell??

I've just tried with both stock (AOSP) and the none beta Firefox and it works fine for me. Bit surprised TBH as I'm in the UK and expected it to be geo IP locked.
Might be worth trying the none beta Firefox and see if it makes a difference.

Both my sons N7 and mine will not run flash. Even though it is loaded and showing in the app drawer. I even tried Boat and still nothing? I guess I will try and undo/reinstall everything. Too weird..

If u use Boat remember to enable flash plug in under settings. Nothing is straight forward in this world anymore lol

I'm running the Flash Player 11 v11.0.1.153 armv6.apk with Firefox beta, latest version downloaded yesterday and on some sites like Biography.com the video plays but no sound. Just downloaded Boat and it doesn't work at all, says Flash needs to be installed. Both browsers obviously have plugins enabled.

The software version on my phone is P88020a-EUR-xxx? Is this the latest version for Croatia?
The reason why I'm asking this is because I have problems with Internet Browsing and with couple other apps what wasn't the case with ICS version.
For instance, I realized that when I want to open some site that has flash in it my phone opens the page and immediately shuts down the browser. I tried to restart the phone but I doesn't seem to help. Now it turns for a lot of webpages that it cannot open - pretty annoying
I could try to make a factory reset but I have couple pretty important apps that concern my job and I would need to loose a lot of time to get them back again through official way - therefore, factory reset is not an option.
I think that problem could be the leaked version of Jelly Bean?!

Well jellybean doesn't support flash so that might be the problem. Html5 works great though

JB support flash player mister. I have 11.1.115.47 installed on mine. In some sites, it's the only way to visualize the video /player...

anything using flash crashes the browser for me if i try to click it or reload. obviously it isn't supported for jb.

Try to hear the ring tones in zedge with your browser... If you don't use the zedge app, you can't hear them without flash player...

YES WE know they work and all that. but they are buggy and non optimized everything seems to use the cpu to the max when there is flash anywhere on the page and the browser closes by itself in these cases most of the time.

Sorry to disagree but, I never had a case where the browser (stock) closed by it self due to flash player issues... Can you give me some site where I can experience that?

even youtube desktop you click the video to stop it and it stops it, but then it's unresponsive to play it or to stop it and the whole page is like a scrollable image then you have to close your browser with task manager and reload and this happens every time.

I tried the Youtube in the phone stock browser (the only one that I use), and I didn't had any problem.
I rotate the screen, stop the film, re-started, scroll down, back to full screen again, etc... no problem detected.
Maybe I'm just lucky.
Like I said before, I don't have issues with FlashPlayer.

The option to make the videos normal or full screen seems to be missing for me. I'm on the latest Sprint model and latest YouTube version. Have I disabled this somehow? Or has Samsung removed it

I'm on TMobile and have the same issue. Not sure of it was the latest software upgrade. I hate it
With the latest YouTube app update, you just "pinch" with two fingers to expand/contract the view.

I really like using these new Oreo ROMs but I can't seem to get Google play movies app to work. Then even if it works it only works for 1 or 2 times then it never works again. Just want to know if there's a work around so that I can still watch the movies I paid for without being stuck to nougat. Thanks in advance ?
Someone else may have experiences to share, I don't use play movies. If I had trouble like this, I'd be pulling a logcat and looking to see why it fails.

Make sure that you are using the most recent happy and the appropriate version... They are different between 8.0 and 8.1.
