Same - Mine is BLA-L29 8.0.0.119 (C636) - 20/12/2017
BLA-L29 8.0.0.126 (C626) is available on Firmware Finder app but I have not installed it yet, though others have reported that the process is easy.
Exact same here. I can see 125 and 126 in firmware finder but they're not accessible yet. My phone rejected the update files.
version 127-C432 for me in France with mate 10 pro dual sim
I had an OTA update 115 ----->127
Cheers
Odd. I looked at 127 changelog in another thread and it's the same as my 636 119. I meant the live wallpaper and amazon thingy.

Did you try to download and install the Full OTA files for 125/126? Was it the case that you downloaded the files successfully over your phone's in-built "System Update" function but failed to install the Full OTA files?

Smoother performance would be appreciated though. On 119 right now and my mate 9 pro runs smoother.
Thanks guys.
I summarize them and update on the 1st page for our reference for Huawei's OTA rolling out method.
Thanks for keeping track of things. What would be nice is a table that shows the difference between them. Like which firmware supports wifi calling or voip and such...
ALP-L09 8.0.0.102(C69) México, carrier Telcel
Mine is ALP-AL00 8.0.8.120 SP2C00.
By the way, if i want to fresh to ALP-L29 Asia revision, is funyhuawai the best way?

It's impossible to know what Huawei will actually roll out to your phone, unfortunately.
It's very much case-by-case. Many people did receive 120 and 118 for example.

you can change but only with rebranding via funkyhuawei
c636 is us firmware so i would recommend to stay on c432
you can flash your c432 to 126 (newest firmware atm) with funkyhuawei but its a paid service, minimum 31 US $

Huawei usually publishes dummy changelogs when a new build first comes out. Unfortunately all we have right now for that build is a dummy changelog.

It looks like the B127 OTA is rolling out and it's confirmed by a Mate 10 pro (c432) owner from Italy.
Let's hope that my B126 rebranded with FunkyHuawei will also take this OTA!

Hi all...
I just got the p20 pro. While searching the forum I saw discussions on firmware upto 8.1.0.120 (germany)...
I saw no discussions regarding the firmware 8.1.0.131 which i got out of the box.
There's no thread for CLT-AL00 Model as well.
Please help me with a method to root this model. I'm from India
On FirmwareFinder, the last firmware version for the CLT-AL00 is 8.1.0.1.109 (05/16), so you're very lucky to have this one.
Where are you from ?
From India... Haven't Nobody else received 8.1.0.131? How do i root it?
It seems that the 131 firmware is an older version coz i cannot find the improvements that's present in 120... Any way to flash 120 in my clt-al00 model?

Hi all, FYI
I've just get my CLT-AL00 chinese version, installed an update : 8.1.0.176 (C00)
I've also installed Google Play Store from an APK which works perfectly. I installed a keyboard normal which kicked out the chinese one. I've uninstalled any chinese apps.
The only (false) problem i have is that i don't know how or where to unlock the bootloader for rooting and kind.. I saw that it can be done with FunkyHuawei after paying 55$ i don't want to.
I really don't understand why to rebrand as google service and apps works perfectly
Hello, i'm using P20 Pro my firmware still CLT L29 8.1.0.155 (C636). can anyone give me suggest how to update my phone??

Just look for the newest version that incorporates your region (c636) in the filename. Ignore the newest 9.0.2 ones as no one can tell which is for which region. You'll probably find newest version is around 9.0.0.16 or 19 ish. And whe you use F you click check availability to check if it's available for your imei

Have you tried searching for updates in HiSuite for pc? Also, try using a different SIM card from a different provider for a day and search again for updates with the different SIM inside? Sometimes slow updates are related to the provider.

Hey...
I bought this phone in Singapore and use it in Japan.
I received the update regularly.
Now, I am on 9.0.0.234.
Try update from HiCare or HiSuite.
I have the same model (C636) unlocked/unbranded and I have not received EMUI 9 yet. Last security patch in October 2018. I'm using my P20 Pro in the US. What's going on?
Finally just bit the bullet, did a 15 day subscription to FH, waiting for my included free unlock code and I'm rebrsnding to C432 Europe. C782 and hauwei can kiss my cheeks

Try this.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/how-to/guide-force-update-using-firmware-t3963074
Follow instructions carefully, it should work. Got OTA to next version when it was available after that.
I would first try to find out what versions are normally delivered for your C636 OTA. Some say you should first update to 9.0, then to 9.1, so maybe try to update repeteadly to closer versions, not straight to last.

Thanks. I have tried that to, but without any success so far. It is worrying that I have missed at least 4 Android security patches, and Huawei won't respond.
Thanks for your help though
HiSuite may be a solution, but it's also a hassle that shouldn't have to be done. OTA updates by design are intended to make the process almost effortless.
But not having an update since last October is abysmal by anyone's standards.
I'm with three UK and have been running 10.0.0.178 for around a month, Security Patch is 1 December 2019, and as we're now almost half way through March I feel I should be on the very latest update.
Huawei definitely consider their home market more important than ROW.

A few hours after my post above my device received a new OTA update.

Although I'd prefer more timely updates I'm still glad I received this latest one.

Hi m8,
According to this post and after talking to @demurov, your device is not a demo unit - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=82043915&postcount=529. For you to get latest EMUI 10, Huawei needs to release the update. Whille on EMUI 9.1 could use the dload firmware from C432 (international firmware version) to update your device, things are different in EMUI 10 and you need to flash the same firmware as your actual cust is, otherwise you can get yourself with a softbricked phone.
As i've mentioned in my post, users who have WEC custs CAN TEST (be aware of softbrick, though) using the methods from my post, but there's NO guarantee it will work and still remains the big problem of having a softbrick device whille waiting for a Huawei EMUI 10 dload firmware for WEC custs phones
Also, did you check for an update using HiSuite PC v10? Or maybe using eRecovery? Last weekend helped an WEC user through PM's to get updated untill v9.1.0.260, using dload firmware and HiSuite.

Hi m8,
If you have a matching cust like one from my thread, you can flash the firmware using an OTG adapter + memory stick.

My O2 got the EMUI 10 update a long time ago now. Must just be EE who are really bad with updates.
is it possible that the corona crisis is delaying the updates?
I'm still on 10.0.0.178 C605, security patch December 1, 2019. Is that normal?
I do not want to do the full wipe variant.

I don't think so, because the firmware is long time released.
If you don't want to use dload firmware, have you tried with HiSuite PC or eRecovery method, both ways without SIM inside?

Hi all
Do you really recommend to use HiSuite PC or eRecovery for firmware update ONLY with Sim-card taking out from the phone?
Thanks

Sometime, your carrier delay your updates, therefore cheching without SIM inside is better than with it (tested by many users from xda) ?
