Alright Fellas:
Before gettitng trounced I want to let everyone know that I did my search on the forum as well as all over the internet to get guidance and finally have to break down and just ask the question.
I have the latest firmware on my Gear with Nova Luancher running fine. But I have the paid version from the Playstore and for the life of me I cannnot figure out how to get the paid version onto my watch. I know how to do port over APKs via the ADB process. SO I looked into APK Downloader and other apps to get the Play store app over. But those vehicles do not handle paid apps, even tho I have paid for the app.
SO, can anyone help me figure out how to get the app from the Playstore onto my watch. I do not know how to do tethering and perhaps that is the way to go. I am open to suggestions
Do a trial of wondershare mobilgo for android. Google it and u will be uploading pass to Gear in no time.

Hello all, i'm looking for a while for a app to hide somehow others apps to system and other apps, like have on xposed called sudohide, there any option of module on magisk?
Very simple to do, read the magisk module thread's.. Replace the APK's with a dummy file, which in turn makes the system think they have been removed..

Ah right my mistake, apologise.
I was after something like this last night, a silly example is the game dark sword, it blocks the running of the game if it finds titanium backup installed.
Same case with game kritika. It won't run if apps like game guardian, lucky Patcher, cheat Droid or anything similar is installed.
Exacly that, i want hide some apps from another, like minminhide and sudohide for xposed, but, ported to magisk or standalone
up. we need something just like this. and i think is a must to have this because there so many apps blocks you from using it when they find other app..
+1 i think it will be very handy
cheers
I also need this!
need module like this aw well to hide apps being scanned ?
I was just about to make a post looking for this same thing. Back in the day, MinMinHide xposed did this.
Xposed just patched stuff on the fly right? Couldn't someone create a system modification that would just return an empty app list to all apps? (this would probably break all licenses key apps, but that's the cost of the mod)
Then we can patch our own system and create a Magisk module like smali patcher does.
Apple patched apps being able to see all other installed apps, but Android still allows any app to view every other apps installed without even needing permission.
I use Island (app) to do this but apps in island are not reliable.
Bump, we still need this app similiar to SudoHide but works with magisk non xposed.
Bump, we need this, please!
Sudohide is a Xposed module. Xposed and Magisk does not work the same and you can't just port a Xposed module to Magisk.
You guys can stop bumping this. If someone could find a way to do it without Xposed it'd likely already be around...
i see , im waiting to see, hope soon have a solution.
line age 2 android have a problem in root device not working , have a try with sudo hide, root cloack. not working.
i heard some magisk module can hide root and bypass safetynet ?
can magiks bypass that too ?
hope some day ......can
seriously
Need something like Sudohide works under Magisk root.
Does anyone know a way to hide some apps from the stock launcher? the app can still be installed and doing what it wants for all i care, i just don't want to see it in launcher.
my phone came with pre-installed non removable music app and calculator etc. i installed google apps for this and don't want to see duplicates on my stock launcher
Re-bump.
Still desperately need something like this. I just got the dreaded "Your device is not supported" from Pokemon Go and had to uninstall Tasker for it to run! Not nice. Need a way to hide Tasker from Pokemon Go. :-/

Worth a try:

The app is no longer available in the playstore. What is everyone using to uninstall bloat now?
That is very bad news. Why would Google do this ? And the BK Samsung debloat app is still up ?
This LG Package Disabler is a must have for this phone.
umm, can google remove apps just like that...
Last i recall, i paid for that app... and now it just vanish?
No mention of it removing purchase, now I cannot even find it in purchase history, so did they just remove the app along with purchase history and no refund??
You can still remove apps via adb. There have been a couple other posts on regarding how to and a quick search should reveal them.

Wow. I just jumped from Windows mobile to Android. I got the insurance company assurion to replace my 950 with a V30 (for the price of my $150 deductible). I had downloaded the package disabler app and it works great. One thing I miss about windows mobile is the ability to delete any bloatware you want and move entire apps to the sd card - not just the ancillary portions of an app.
I still have the app installed and found a contact email address in the app. I sent an email asking what happened. If I get a reply, I'll share the info.
Any update from the developer on still being able to get the app?
Damn, I was JUST about to jump on this bandwagon and give that app a shot, and now it's been pulled. Argh! Thank Odin I'm no stranger to ADB. Command Line, here we come!

How do you use the ADB & command line to manually do this process?
I paid for the app and now it has been removed from the store. I guess i will just have to get the APK elsewhere...
The APK is still live: MOD EDIT: warez link removed

You can't post warez links for paid apps.
6. Do not post or request warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez nor do we permit members to request, post, promote or describe ways in which warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained or used. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community.

BE AWARE: Malware probably lurks in such pirated apps, so no one should download them before a mod removes the links.

This paid app was discussed in depth, and reasons why it was probably removed from Google Play store. But also alternate methods were discussed on how to remove bloatware.

If this was intended for me, then no. The devs have not responded to my email.
They have some version of Package Disabler available for purchase on their website (which is linked to in the LG Package Disabler "About" option). I'm just not willing to try the purchase right now. It seems kind of suspicious to me. The website seems to have some malfunctions (possibly because they're still linked to their Play pages which have now been removed.)
Oh guys, be careful when disabling apps. I had huge lag after disabling some of it using adb. No lag after apps are enabled again.
This is exactly what I want to know too. I'm wondering why it was even removed from the Play Store all together. I need it lol
Play on words
"so no one should download them before a mod removes the links."
So its only ok to use them after the mod removes the link...
/sarcasm
I used BK Package Disabler from the play store. Works better than LG Package Disabler, as it does not require you to install apk. Just a ADB command line from a computer to setup.
Just saying, I currently have not disable anything. The phone runs so much better without disabling stuff... Consider that I use VPN, chromecast and Google home, disabling stuff always seems to mess something up.

Agreed. I haven't disabled anything and I use AdGuard VPN to block ads. Phone run very smoothly and very fast. I'm a big proponent of rooting (and I will root this phone), but I'm very wary of messing something up -- unintentionally causing lag because something is missing.
It is really strange that we have horrible lag after disabling some apps. Same thing on G6 and V30. After debloating Galaxy device, it's much easier to breathe for me and my phone. Here one the LG phone it is opposite.
Hmm guys.. 'Disable HW Overlays' option under developer options fixed all that horrible lag issues with my LG G6 and V30. Now it is smooth like Pixel phone when scrolling through web pages and apps like Instagram, Facebook etc.
This isn't permanent fix unfortunately. What should we do? Why is this happening? This option solve all stutter/lag/touchLatency problems with my LG devices. What can we do? LG won't fix this. I had the same problems in the era of the LG G2 and G3
Hello
I didn´t receive yet the Pie update, but sure it will be coming in a few days / weeks.
I have decided not to upgrade; I am very glad with the phone and battery autonomy, and also I don´t want to have call recording blocked by Android Pie.
The question is how to avoid the automatic notification and the following downloading of the Pie update. I remember from my previous phones that after you have been notified and/or downloaded a system update, you will be prompted once and again to apply that update until you give up. I whant to reach that point.
I have configured under "Software Update" to NOT download updates automatically (I know this is not enough).
Also, under "Developers Options", I have "Auto Update System" set to off ( I don´t know what this means).
Any other recommendations ?
By the way, this a Note 9 Exynos, no root.
Thank you !

Thank you very much for your answer.
But I couldn´t find any "pm disable-user" command related to "Software Update". I have copied all the pm commands to a text file to use a search function, but could´t find any commands related to software update. Are you sure it is in that listing ?
By the way I never used the adb thing to disable packages... any Package Disabler application that can be recommended? Many of them have very bad reviews...
Thank you very much.

Either one of these should help you find the .apks for the updates:

@paggps
AdHell 3 has a built-in Package Disabler. There's a thread here in the Note 9 forum on the subject of setting it up/etc.....
Theres a new Package Disabler. You dont need adb it uses knox..Click it..grant permission..done. You can disable software updates.
Sent from my Still Rooted SM-N950U
Finally I have installed "Package Disabler" and located two apps named "Software Update". Checked both, and ... it is supposed that Pie is not going to arrive never.
By the way, I have read that this "disabling" of apps using "Package Disabler" is effective only as long as you have Package Disabler installed. It seems that this is not a permanent action on the operating system, but something tied with the present installation of Package Disabler ... weird...
Thanks for the help!

Which "Package Disabler" or who is the developer? I see several on Google play, mostly by policedeveloper.
Once you disable, can you enable?
One comment said it only remains blocked if blocker app stays on phone. Says cost $2.99. Is that one time cost or monthly.
Lastly, does avoiding system updates affect 1 year Samsung warranty?
I apologize am new to some aspects. The pie totally changed my previous phone. Just purchased another on oreo...but now says there's an update. So looking for ways to avoid.
Thank you very much for your time and input.

Theirs like 4 facebooks apps also that disabled
List disable stuff
Napetime took of cause redundant and not needed
The didabler package is one using
Yes
Excuse me, I´m totally new to the package disabling and I´m really looking forward to get it working on my new S21 Ultra. Could somebody please take some time, and explain to me what does it do and if the apps will still work even after disabling? (For example the bixby voice wakeup was disabled as seen in the screenshot, will my phone be able to get awaken via Bixby if it is disabled?)
Secondly I´d like to ask you if there is some sort of "best" list of packages to disable. I really want to maximize the battery life and performance of my device since it´ll be my inevitable workstation for couple of months.
Kind regards!
It didn't work for me, the message "operation not supported" shows whenever I try to disable a package.
In the end I removed everything bixby related manually through adb.
Sorry been busy with daughter and cutting and back.Give me hour show you guys how use it.Do you guys have root or not.Two ways to do it
I use package disabler root. But they also have adb method as well
i want to delete samsung calendar, will it generate errors?
