Anyone captured the OTA for Android O??
No one did.
I just got the update prompt. I'll see if I can capture the URL.

So, I think I have something, but not 100% sure that its right. I captured a logcat and ran wireshark to do a packet capture. I will PM you what I have so you can take a closer look.

I believe so, but its obfuscated somewhat. I PM'd you my logcat and wireshark packet capture along with what I think the OTA url is.
Specifically, I am currently on npw26.83-41 (Android One Moto X4, Android 7.1.1, November 1st security patch level), and got the update for 8.0.

Can you let me know that you got the PM? For some reason it is not saying I sent a PM, making me think XDA is not sending the message due to links in it.
Alright - here is the OTA based on what I captured. I unfortunately can't give out the official OTA link because Motorola are essentially only allowing temporary access to the OTA download link.
Here is an unofficial reupload of what I got: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1PcJgtVerTPgqgfM4---q_SIGK4jmgRp7
Again, use at your own risk. This was the OTA for the Android One Moto X4 variant on 7.1.1, November 1st security patch. I have no idea if it will sideload since I got the update through the built in updater. If you are looking for a guide on how to sideload, I did a quick writeup in November on how I sideloaded the november OTA at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74473681&postcount=79.
For those who want some more details on how I got to this point, I would be glad to provide those details via PM. I don't want to put those details out publicly in case Motorola wants to spoil all the fun.

I attempted to do the capture as well, but noticed it was being done via SSL, making it a bit harder. I was able to pin down that the host it was downloading from was dlmgr.gtm.svcmot.com. Irritatingly, it won't download the image if teathered via USB, only over wifi and/or mobile if you select that way.
Been trying to dump the payload.bin file with no luck... anyone able to peek inside yet? TWRP and root will require some changes to work with Oreo, so I am really hoping to get the boot.img at least.

My wife has another X4 that she hasn't updated yet. I attempted to capture the download, but it ended up encrypted. If someone has a good idea of how to capture this on her phone, I can attempt this. If need be, I can pull out the big guns, and setup an SSL proxy, create a self signed certificate, make the phone trust it, and route the update through the proxy to capture the data, but I'd prefer if there were a simpler method. Yes I am a network engineer.
I believe the file @AjkayAlan has is the full OTA, and not encrypted... but the older .bin dump methods are not working. I am just trying to extract the payload.bin

Happy for ya, man, but please don't forget about the rest of us. From what I understand, you are one of the 1% and Google await some kinda feedback from this 1% group (sent out automatically by the device) before they proceed to the next step - the 25%. So, please... please do not f*ck with your phone for the next 24-48 hours so that it sends out a positive signal or feedback (whatever), thus making Google move ahead to the 25% phase of the rollout. Here's hoping my device is part of that 25%. *fingers crossed*
I also live in Romania, my carrier is Digi, and the N5 i own is from them. No update yet, been bugging with the check for updates button all day yesterday
I know I could force update but i wanna use the OTA because i wanna see how Google envisioned the whole upgrade experience
Also this will be the only phone i will not be messing around with.
It doesn't matter how many times you mash the "Check for update" button. I read yesterday that they rollout the update to 1% of the devices to check for issues with the upgrade. If you didn't make it in the first wave, you won't force it by checking. Then they release it to 25%, 50% and so on. You can get the OTA from HERE manually, if you want it so badly. I flashed the factory image and didn't restore anything. Be sure to get the KTU84P, as the KTU84Q is only for a very small part of the world.
Edit: I found the Reddit thread that discusses this policy.

I was hoping someone could help me out with this......
I've been getting this irritating "Android System Update" (screenshot attached) week after week.
I'm rooted (unlocked bootloader), running stock 5.1.1
This update keeps showing up and when I go to install it, the phone reboots, then it goes it TWRP. I'm assuming this hasn't installed correctly because it keeps coming back.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this or install it correctly. It's becoming quite annoying when it pops up time after time.
Thank you-
Install the update manually or block OTAs.

Thank you all very much for your help.
I'll try to patch one of these updates this weekend when I have some time off.
I'm the gatekeeper for all that is Android OS in my family. Myself, my Mom and now my Dad all have Nexus 6' and I've rooted us all. So I install it on my phone first and then the same with theirs.
I was so happy I found a fix for the MLB At Bat app and their stupid blackout rules.
This is just great, been having the same issue and versions
This covered everything I had at the moment!
I applied the update tonight, sick of those damn OTA prompts.
This is where I got mine from, but still not sure if I chose the right one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/fxz-nexus-6-recovery-flashable-fastboot-t3066052
Installed the download from:
LVY48F (5.1.1 Project Fi bugfix update 20150910)
It says Project Fi only, but I have no idea what that is. I didn't see an option for LVY48I, so I went with LVY48F.
Did I do this right?
Want to make sure I didn't screw up my phone.
I tried installing the OEM ROM from here, but it failed while trying to flash it via TWRP recovery:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#shamu
"5.1.1 (LMY48I)"
Anyone?

you never know, releasing this secuirty update after 2.0 would make no sense either. maybe they quickly pushed this last security update to get 2.0 on the road very soon.
I had issues with the battery percentage not showing properly after this update. It took several reboots and I am still suspicious of the value it's showing now.

Trying to update with the lastest AW1.5 version M1D65H (downloaded from this topic), using ad sideload but even looks like everything went okay, I still in MEC23G.

Personally I think is not worth it. This is not final build and will delete data from your device. Then next one will show up in couple days or even (maybe) tomorrow. If I will you I will wait for around another 3-4 weeks to get more stable build.
Sent from my SM-N950U using XDA Premium HD app
I tried it -- the installation took about an hour in Recovery, mainly stayed in the "Patching system files". This install *WILL* wipe your phone (not your SD card though).
The build was super fast (even faster than a fresh Nougat flash).
There were two things that caused me to flash back to Nougat.
- The Wi-Fi was extremely weak. At my desk at work, I can normally see 6 Wi-Fi networks. 4 of them are in my office. With Oreo, I could only see two of them, and it struggled to stay connected to the one that I normally have full signal on.
- Also, my AT&T Gear S2 Classic could not be connected. Upon attempting to pair (after confirming the PIN on phone/watch) Samsung Gear gave a message stating that I need to ensure my phone was compatible and that I had the latest Samsung Gear app. I confirmed that there were no available updates for ANYTHING in the Play Store and Galaxy Apps. Both stores showed that my app was up to date.
If it weren't for those two issues, I'd still be on the Oreo build right now.
Another point -- I experienced my first freeze/reboot on this phone in Oreo. I've had the phone since June of last year and never had any freeze/reboot issues previously. Never dropped or gotten the phone wet, etc.
Hope this helps anyone who is wanting to flash the build!

Hope this helps anyone who is wanting to flash the build!

Thanks for the feeback, I tried this and I agree on weak Wifi on Oreo. I will keep and play with it for sometime before going back to Nougat. Hopefully new stable version shows up soon.
You are a lucky man because i'm flashing via adb and only 59 %. Which issue with a WiFi ? Can you please provide me more information and maybe do you know who will it fix ?
Thank you

I face the same issues you have described. Originally after applying the Oreo update, I was not able to enable Bluetooth nor WiFi. I had to reboot to recovery and wipe cache.
Once that was done, I was able to get WiFi and Bluetooth to work.
I have the Galaxy Fit2 and was not able to sync watch to the phone with the same error you received. ( I tried the version 3..1.80.80109 of Samsung Accessory Service as suggested in another thread, no luck.)
WiFi as you described is pitiful, luckily I don't rely on WiFi as much so I will continue on with this Oreo build.
Does anyone know how to turn off the red heart rate sensor light off? It is accidentally turning on even if I dont get my finger on it after oreo update

Wifi issue meaning weak signals in Wifi connection on Oreo. I simply followed the steps in flashing through SD card and it took a while (40 mins or so) but eventually it went through the install.
Has anyone got the razer phone 2 update that they rolled out via twitter for camera fix? If so please pull the ota and share here.

EDIT: Ah, thanks for the clarification @xterminater07 You're referring to the OTA mentioned here. I'll keep a lookout for it!
Originally, I posted a link to the MR2 OTA zip. If you're looking for that, go here.

I'm assuming you mean the MR2 update? It can be downloaded straight from Google's servers here.
SHA256 of the file I downloaded from the URL above (in case the file gets changed on the server or something): FF571E225BC81C8D450964E0C7BA28DF13E963798F9E5AF7E7C142DE7FBE51A5
