(Request) Pixel 2 xl camera for Moto g5 plus

Guys I have a suggestion and I hope everyone will notice this?.
Our camera uses the same sensor with the new released phone the Google Pixel 2. Pixel2 can capture great shots and its new features the “bokeh mode” even its only one camera but can still take nice photos. If pixel2 can do it? How comes motog5plus too?
Heres my suggestion if its okay?
What if we port pixel2 camera app or its fulled rom to our moto g5 plus so we can have also full camera features from pixel 2 since they have the same camera sensor ? thats all thank you.

Yes there's already a port but you must have the camera 2 API enabled and it must be 64 bit. This is there in every Oreo rom but unfortunately the camera cannot be ported to the stock rom.

You aren't searching very hard because it's about 2 threads away from this.
It will only work on 64bit Oreo though.

[UPDATE] [Android 10] BEST GOOGLE CAMERA APK WITH NO BUGS

UPDATE: i found a new apk which is working absolutely fine on android 10 roms.
negligible or no freezing issue or shutter greyout issues. (rarely- with flash on pic doesnt click, so turn off the flash and click again)
personally i have tested it on Evolution x, Pixel Experience and Havoc ROM.
Features-
1. it has super-res feature with upto 10x digital zoom. Working absolutely insane?. (attaching sample)
2. night mode working perfectly on both cameras.

Most of the asus zenfone max pro m1(6gb) users facing a problem with their gcam. Problems are:-
1. Sometimes Shutter icon turns gray and doesn't click pictures.
2. Hrd+enhanced settings sometimes crashes.
3. Hdr processing stuck in the middle and need the device to be restarted.
Guide.:-
Either its the android oreo problem or the previous apks problem. But now my version of gcam never crashes or shows bugs as listed.
+ it has google lens support.
I am giving the link of the gcam. apk i am using.
Guys if the problem still happening, try switching to aosp extended pie rom. This rom. Is buttery smooth + g am never crashes even on extreme settings.

It depends on which apk you are using and which rom you are using?.

Brother use aosp pie, PE PIE is not that stable, and most gcam versions are working in this rom

it's not working... The main camera interface comes up with no preview, but switching to google lens gives preview . if i switch from still to video, the app crashes....
Can u make a fix for the 4gb/32GB version also?
Btw, arnova's gcam is working fine with preview, but i miss ur tweakings...

As i mentioned in my post, not every apk work best with every rom. I just shared my experience was best the combination of this apk and aosp pie rom.

Hey Everyone. I finally found a way to make google camera work on miui.
Just flash the zip and use this camera and settings.
Files were taken from LOS 15.1 so credit to its developers.
Suggested Google Camera Port:

Yes. Because it replaces MIUI camera libs with LOS 15.1 ones.

they could if someone modifies miui libs. that's beyond my knowledge.

I installed Gcam to my Miui 10.2.4 system. After this, my camera started to lag and freeze. Because of that, I installed Lineage Os 16.0 but none of the rear cameras were working. Then I tried installing some other custom ROMs but I just couldn't get rear cameras to work. What can I do about it?

Create a folder inside the internal storage and name it Gcam, inside that one create another folder called configs and copy the xml file there.
Fire up the camera and double tap the grey area between the shutter and pictures, and select restore from the pop up menu restart the camera and you are done

try flashing miui fastboot rom with mi flash . a full flash that wipes everything.

Same happened to me a few months earlier. Flashing MIUI 10 (the last version then but i cant remember now.) fastboot file through mi flash tool with wiping everything solved it for me.

I'm using pixel experience rom and anx 148 I think, whatever the latest was at the time I downloaded

Use 1.37 version

use this modules "ANXCameraUnity_139.PastAdorableHawaiianmonkseal.zip" and "ANXCustLibs_141.DarkorangeKindDikdik.zip"

For abhishek's LOS take V139 and 48MP Fix V127. But it doesn't work on Pixel experience.

I am on Pixel experience plus rom, i use mentioned ANX modules and i dont see any issues (unless 4k video and front camera led and video), i flashed via twrp.
I tried same ANX modules on syberia rom and everything works.
I flashed these roms over indian firmware 10.3.5.0 ( i did not flash Chinese vendor)

As far I know only HDR is broken in back camera with Snap Camera but u can use gcam 3.2. I didn't find anything else related to device problem.

This ROM and all of the ones posted in this forum are 32-bit based.
I don't know if anyone is working on a 64-bit ROM port

Very strange, it should be working normally. About magisk: I recommend magisk 20.3 idk why but magisk 20.4 break basic integrity.
