what software version you on?
If you get the password wrong a few times, it will prompt for your Google account password. Entering it will unlock your phone.

Sony forgot to put the seciurty question after 4.1.2 update

I need help to bypass the password login (Huawai P9 EVA-L09)

Hey guys,
last weekend my Huawai P9 battery got empty over the night and on the next morning after charging i noticed that the phone ask me for a password. Before i just used my finger sensor to get back into it but as you know after a complete restart it ask for the set password.
The problem is that i do not remember it in any way and right now i am @ 1 hour waiting time between the attempts.
I really don't want to delete and reset the phone and loose all my data. So i hope someone can help me to solve that problem to get back access to my phone without loosing all data.
Phone data:
Name: Huawai P9
Model: EVA-L09
Latest official available Android update installed.
No Root, No Modification
What i have tried so far:
1. Google Android Manager
I logged into my google account and tried to reset the password but google tells me it cant replace the password because its already active. So looks like that reset way only works for pin and gesture phones but not for ones that already have an active password.
2. dr.Phone
I have downloaded dr.phone toolkit for android and tried the unlock locked screen option but it tells me that the phone is not supported.
3. ADB / Fastboot
I installed ADB and fastboot on my system and tried to connect the phone to delete the password.key file. ADB is running on my windows but it does not get any connection to the phone because the phone has no developer option enabled and i am not able to enable it because it cant access it.
Fastboot does detect my phone but yea i cant delete a file with it right?
Greetings,
Chris
I would pay for a working solution so please help me to find a solution.

-I could only imagine that you are able to unlock your bootloader with DC Phoenix (normal bootloader unlock would cause data loss and u would need DC Phoenix for the oem lock)
-Maybe u are able to flash TWRP recovery with DC Phoenix and backup your files from there but i dont know if TWRP works without an unlocked bootloader.
-All in all DC Phoenix is a risky tool.

Stop stop stop.....
Is your phone under warranty? If it is, dont touch the bootloader or flash anything. Send it back to Huawei to fix it.
If its no longer under warranty, is it requesting a password to unlock your phone or is it the password for decrypt storage? And last question, do you use the finger print scanner to unlock your phone?
only solution with bootloader locked is the wipe data/factory reset inside erecovery

No one ?
Do you have Google device manager installed? It should be able to reset device too. If you do, just head for the https://www.google.com/android/find?u=0 and click Reset device.
Do you have bootloader unlocked? I presume you don't, but ask anyway.
Do you have the USB drivers installed? With the phone connected, right click This computer, click Manage and then Device manager. All categories should be collapsed, no yellow triangles with exclamation marks or red cicles with X-es. If there is, or simply to rule out the driver error, download http://adbdriver.com, open it and click Install. Then try again.
Did you solve the problem mate ?

Dude your only option is to flash the stock rom through fastboot via official miflash tool, assuming you do have device drivers installed.

Nope, the easiest method is to remotely factory reset the phone. You can do it from a browser . But the locked phone should have active internet connection and must be logged in google account.
Since most people connect their Google account to their phone and the redmi 4x can be connected to the data services even in locked condition makes it the easier option.
I had to do it and it worked like a charm, the phone will ask for google acc password once it resets.

How to Flash TWRP on Samsung S10 without unlocking the bootloader?

I need to flash TWRP on a Samsung Galaxy S10 phone without unlocking the bootloader.
Is there any method to do this? I couldn`t find anything helpful on google.
The reasen why i need to do this is because i my aunt forgot her pin and also her google account connectet to the phone, so i can`t use the phone to unlock the bootloader.
I need to flash the device first with TWRP and install a costum ROM (that`s the best way i know).
If anybody has another idea how to get into the phone he is welcome to share it.
Cheers,
Thomas
you cant

Is there any possibiliti to reset the samsung s10 without pin and google account?
If the device doesn't actually belong to your aunt (as stated in the other thread), but has been found somewhere, the correct course of action is to hand it in to the police. Thread closed.

Retrieve photos from a phone stuck in bootloop

Hi guys!
I have the redmi k20 pro premium china rom, but its currently stuck in a bootloop so I cant get past the booting-up screen nor can i use the fastboot feature.
However, I still really want to get my photos from the phone, I don't have any cloud services connected.
I was wondering if there was any way to retrieve the photos since to get out of a bootloop I need to factory reset which will delete the memory.
Im willing to tear apart the phone however I doubt that will do anything?
Thanks in advance!!
(I wrote this question in the normal thread but found out there's a k20 specific one.)

Hey
Depending on what you did if your bootloader is unlocked you can use Mi Flash Tool and flash the Fastboot ROM if you can get to there. Just make sure to select Save user data. If you can't get into Fastboot Mode it is possible to get the Phone working anyway on another way but everything will be deleted.

When you turn on your phone, is there a lock sign? If yes it's unlocked and if no I don't know what to do because unlocking bootloader needs erasing everything. Maybe you can go to a repair shop which gives you somehow the photos back.

To unlock the Bootloader, the owner has to do procedures...
install tools, register account on the Xiaomi side, request unlocking, wait 7 days...
If you bought the phone from Xiaomi (not a second hand or from a reseller) and you are not familiar with all the above, then your BL is for sure locked
In Fastboot, run the command and it will tell you if the BL is locked or not:
fastboot oem device-info

Yes, but like I said it'll delete everything and the phone needs to be working to associate a Xiaomi Account via Mobile Data.

Of course it will delete
But I said, if you IN THE PAST did not unlock Bootloader and did not buy it from a previous owner or reseller who did unlock, then the Bootloader is for sure locked since Xiaomi sells the phones with locked Bootloaders
Besides, if you cannot boot to the System, you cannot initiate now the procedure to unlock the Bootloader

Yes. I guess his photos are gone. Anyway I'd recommend for any rooted phone (I know his isn't) to use the Unlimited Google Photos Magisk Module.

Photos can be also automatically stored to Mi Account
But most simply, from time to time, connect the phone to PC by USB cable and copy /DCIM/Camera folder to the PC
No need for unlocking Bootloader, no need for cloud accounts, etc

Mi Cloud has 15 GB and Magisk Mod gives you unlimited. That's why I mentioned it. But without doing anything like that, you're right.
So theres no way to retrieve it if the boot loader is locked?
