[APP][OFFICIAL] Pixel launcher + Pixel wallpaper picker

Hi guys,
I want to share with you official Pixel launcher from the Android 7.1 Pixel system dump. Root isn't needed. I made also flashable zip. App is updateable throught Play Store.

Installation:
Install as normal apks or flash my zip in recovery.
NOTE: Flashing zip allow you enter Google app, when you swipe left from homescreen.

Sorry, but I don't seem to see the point of this thread, @BeansTown106 has a perfectly working launcher and thread, heck you even used his apk, so why download from here when you can get it from the source?

You have to use Ressurection Remix rom. You can find it there.

If you are on stock using xposed, then download flat style bar indicator module in xposed in that you can make like that customized label.

Bro, I think is not necessary, just disable it or use app like link2sd to uninstall it from system.

It's official so with apk any, but you won't be able to use google app, when you swipe left unless you flash flashable zip.

INSTALLATION :
1.upgrade your phone to b201 version
( if U want to try flashing the rom over b161 you can, but I don't know the consequences).
2.download
medrom_v3 : removed.

3.put the ROM and Xposed in external sdcard
4.do a backup (recomanded)
5.wipe cache & dalvik
 cache (DONT WIPE DATA)
6.install the rom

The rom is based on b151, so dont need to post screenshots of the rom but if you want it i Can upload them

I dont set tweaks for faster gps , but it works well
The battery life is better , my phone stay awake with 20-15% at the end if the day when i used chrome, Facebook,whatsapp YouTube

Ya absolutely I had faced the similar issue too many times... Move to cm14.1.

Works for me. I'm on Android 6.01 RR. But i'm manually add file to system/media.

Yes you will need custom recovery... But if you are planning to add bootanimation manually then you need root access...

Cm14.1 there is no time to show animation it appeared as black image and booted I have placed in correct path

It should work, as you can see other post in this thread.
Can you check again by flashing. Or just extract it and move bootanimation.zip to system/media/ and change permission and Make sure everything under ‘Read’ is checked, only ‘User’ is checked under ‘Write’ and nothing is checked under ‘Execute’.
Use root explorer or es file explorer.

Will it remove the unlocked bootloader warning?
I used this boot animation from the attached thread.

Here is the long waited miui rom with some customization. I just added some customization to it.
1) Torch boost
2) Google basic apps added
3)Sony media apps added
4) Xperia bootanimation
5) Stereo mod
NOTE:
1) Do a fresh installation.
2) Don't flash supersu - it causes bootloop.
3) Don't flash Xposed - it bricks the phone.
4) If you face bootloop during boot, flash bootloop fix.
5) If you face google play services FC, remove it from system and install micro GMS - http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-microg-gmscore-floss-play-services-t3217616
List of working mods:
1) Cyberian camera mod and Pexo mod - Both of them works.
2) Arbicot and Elite kernel works.

Miui is generally about mi stuffs. If you don't need that you coud remove that on your own. Just backup before you proceed..

Yeah yeah I know, I'm questioning because the Miui ROM in general section, after I uninstalled some mi apps the phone enter in a bootloop after reboot..
I'll give it a try and report tomorrow.

So... This miui 8 with élite kernel is usable with root? Great! Because put élite kernel and can't mod parameters is absurd... I try this version later. In my z2 i have the miui8 of General section...you advise me to do a clean flash?

Flashing instructions:
1-Download the zip and extract
2-reboot to recovery and Wipes Dalvik/ART Cache/System/Cache/Data/Storage(optional)
3-flash boot.img as boot...system.img as system image...vendor.img as vendor image
4-format data and reboot to system (ignore no OS installed)
5-first boot apps are lazy...
6-update Google Play services given in the zip and finish pixel setup
7-if u root flash this Download android11-superuser
8-vendor is based on PE PLUS
Bugs:
1-hotspot bug (need R vendor to fix)
2-if u facing any problems with downloading apps from playstore update Android web view given from the zip and reboot.....wait for 30 mins and try again it will definitely works

Found some major bug even if i followed the procedure.
1 - SMS tooks 1 sec to send, which is good, but tooks like 20 mins to reciver, or eithr a reboot.
2 - Android 11 auto detect every apn, but the one for my operator is wrong, since MNVO need to stay on IMSI and the value at 22220x, but the system forced another one, which is resetted every reboot.
3 - Even if i updated both Google Play Services and Android Web View, i was unable to download more than one app in 180 minutes.
4 - When downloading, the phone become unusable due to the heat in the upper left part (back).

Alternative installation that I have done working and without overheating
-Once the rar has been downloaded and the files extracted
TWRP installation: OrangeFox recommended
-Wipes Dalvik/ART Cache/System/Cache/Data/Storage(optional)/Format Data
-Reboot again in TWRP
-Flash Firmware Lineage 17.1 lineage-17.1-20200908
-Flash System.img as system image
-Restart system
-Once the system has started, install the apks included in the rar and restart the system
-Finish the pixel configuration (do not open the play store until you have done it) with your email and voila, you can open the play store and configure to your liking

About a third of the applications I use don't work

I gave up it's a shame, too many worries.

Really, they want a daily driver in two days after the release, on a phone that will not even receive Android R from Xiaomi.

I do not criticize the work, the rom is not really functional
