I have Huawei P9 Lite and for some time i've been looking for some app that make FlashLight to blink when I receive call or some messages (from Viber or Messenger)? I tried some of them on Google play, but none of them worked!
Any ideas?
I use Light Manager Pro on my P9. Works very well.
I want my FlashLight to blink, not the color LED!

I just bought a Huawei p7.
I dont have the red ballons which count the unread messages, whatsapp and ect.
I cant find the badgeprovider app. Looked in settings, application, all...but there is nothing there. Push notification fixer and notifyer launchers dont work either. Anyone has a solution?

Tried doing a search for this but no luck. Does the notification led only flash for the stock apps if you have a notification, so texts, emails, calls only? If I get a notification from texts, emails etc the light flashes when the screen is off, but if the notification is from a 3rd party app it doesn't light or flash at all.... is that right?

Sorry, never really notice the notification lights as I am using smart cover (the whole screen always covered by the cover).

Thank you for the tips and suggesting those apps.... I have checked them out but if anyone else has definitive answer as to whether the P9 Plus blinks the LED for 3rd party apps without extra software (like most other Android handsets do) it would be good to know.....
I use textra for SMS and it can use LED ok.

Yep, LED works fine with Messenger, Textra, WhatsApp, Gmail, Nine, and any other app that pushes LED notifications. Stock P9 Plus.
Check Settings | Notification panel & status bar | Notification manager | (app) | Allow notifications
And also check within the app itself for LED notification.

I've got a Huawei P9 running Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1.1
Having switched from iPhone I was delighted to discover that EMUI supports notification badges for unread messages, missed calls etc. unlike stock Android.
Unfortunately on my phone these work only for WhatsApp, all others including dialer and messaging don't show badges.
I verified that badges are enabled for all supported apps in Home Screen->More Settings->Badge App Icons
Any help appreciated!

Solved: just needed to allow Huawei Home app to manage calls messages etc.

I've been trying to search how to change the notification sound on my P20 Pro for SMS. it seems that it just doesn't allow it. It has this funky ugly sound which irritates me quite frankly.
- I know I can use other sms apps bit I prefer android messages
- P20 Pro has the android sms installed as the system sms app, my oneplus 5T had no issues when I installed it from the app store.

I have now the p40 pro since 10 days.
At first I installed the Google services successfully.
But now I use Snapchat, Gmx and other Apps but I never receive any Notification.
I have already checked the background activity and energy usage settings there is everything normal.
Can any one face the issue too?
Or does somebody know how to set this right?
