I got the download link from a nice guy via MIUI forum.
http://bigota.d.miui.com/V9.2.1.0.NDDCNEK/miui_MIMAX2_V9.2.1.0.NDDCNEK_a45e284c42_7.1.zip
This ROM was installed via TWRP then my phone can't boot normally.
Original kernel maybe isn't supported TWRP, so I googled modified kernel that working to boot my phone.
Found boot.img to fix it on multirom! :good::good::good:
The kernel form http://adiwernadev.com/2018/01/rom-miui9-multirom-stable-MIMAX2-support-bahasa-indonesia.html
boot.img kernel extracted from http://drive.google.com/open?id=1YFw3Phf1NfvtfOLNf7t-dZHdSmjulRkI was flashed.
It's Chinese ROM, therefore Google Play Store is installed manually.
This link is working for me.

interesting find! however, i somehow doubt this is a stable build, seeing as it caused a bootloop on your device...
or maybe the rom just wasnt compatible with flashing via twrp?

I'm kind a sceptical about this. I'm in a Miui device team and if there is any beta or stable to be released, we would be the first to know about it or test it. There is no information on Miui forum for use yet. Could be fake... Just saying though.

I don't think any of this post is fake, just look at the download link in the OP, its legit from Xiaomi's/MIUI's download servers tho
Could be Unreleased just yet, Cancelled, or maybe its bugged so they work on newer version and don't release this rom probably.
who knows.. just wait for the official announcement

Xiaomi, of course. The person who shared that link before the rom was actually available on the Miui site, would get banned. Anyway, i'm just saying, i don't really mind.

What would it take for a developer to be able to release a Lineage/CM type ROM for this phone? Do you guys think it is a possibility in the near future or will this never happen?

I've experienced that with the Mi5, Cyanogenmod builds came very quickly after Xiaomi released the kernel sources. I'm also waiting for them, this device would be so much better with Lineage OS, or anything other than a MIUI rom, although the EPIC rom is getting fairly close
You can follow the official github for xiaomi devices here: https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource
Mi5 owners also did a petition though, asking Xiaomi to release the kernel sources for the mi5, maybe we should do the same for the MIX ?

Hi! Yes, OTA works fine. Epic ROM for Redmi 4 Prime works like Epic ROM for Mi MIX. This is not a port, this is Epic ROM project.
Many usefull tweaks and improvements/mods for MIUI official build for many devices.
I am working now over Mi MIX and Redmi 4 Prime... Soon, probably, also MI 6.

June 1st closed beta, late June Open beta for Miui 10.
Either way the weekly 8.5.24 Oreo Global Beta is sufficient for now since the last OTA in May 20th, there will be no OTA's until the after June 10th. They will start the Miui 10 public Beta later this June.

GAPPS: There is Google Installer - version 3 in Xiaomi App Store too. However, Google apps installed this way do not allow you to use Google Pay.

There are a lot of very talented devs from India here on xda, so hopefully many of the POCO F1 devs will buy this phone and move their excellent work to this.
Mine has finally arrived and so far it's great, have removed as much bloat as I can and just waiting for the 7 days to finish when I can get the EU ROM on at least. Personally I would like to see official LOS on my phone.

No.
This from the Xiaomi android q beta webpage
Redmi K20 Pro:
1. Does not support fingerprint module.
2. “Settings” app crashes after user selects “App & Notifications” and shows a notification that says “Settings keeps stopping”
3. Unable to switch between multiple users.
4. There might be instances where videos downloaded from the Google Drive does not show length of video in the photo gallery.
5. Bluetooth search might not work for some specific keyboards. A known failed case is Logitech’s k380 keyboard.

Have you actually got any builds yet? I have a feeling your "announcement" was way too premature. I also have a feeling we're going to have to wait for a new TWRP version, 3.4.0-0 doesn't seem to work properly with Android 11 encryption.

Seems to work just fine for me. I'm on 11 and have twrp. It's more magisk that's seemingly problematic. I get crash dumped if I flash it but oh well...im going back to OOS 10 until 11 is out. Or a port of the 8 is made.
