@Arnova8G2 Portrait mode in rear camera of Moto X4 is working as smooth as butter but as regards front camera, app gets crashed. Also, motion photo doesn't seem to work as well. App gets crashed here, too. One more thing to say, while taking pics in HDR+ mode, pictures are getting a little pinkish. Can you please solve this, too? Although, this modded app is a boom to Android phones.

Doesn't always work and save the photos.
Your efforts are awesome. But the camera saves the pictures one out of 20 tries. It usually force closes after I click a picture. Almost never saves the picture. Please resolve this. Thank you

Hey! This is an athene guy . Now that 64 bit roms are available for Moto g4 and g4 plus too can someone port the portrait mode to it .
I think the focusing issue might be due to the fact that Moto g5 plus has dual pixel autofocus while most of the other camera ( like op3 on which this mod works perfectly) employ PDAF

I cannot promise I can fix any bugs for other devices but if I have time, I can try to look into some. This version is based off Scrubber's [4PDA] and uses information I've learned from using and looking at Arnova8G2's, BSG's and others versions. NOTE: This is how the V30's Camera ID's are laid out. My normal lens app uses ID 0 and 1. My wide lens app uses ID 1 and 2.

Camera 2 "LENS_FACING_BACK" (wide angle)
I cannot guarantee success on other devices, especially if the phone does not even report all cameras through the Camera2 API (use Camera2Test app to verify your device info). If you are on LineageOS, please consult your dev to see if they can alter the camera ID's to properly match LG stock roms, if my version does not work.
Working on my V30: Optical Image Stabilization; Front/Rear/Wide HDR+ ZSL & Enhanced; Front/Rear/Wide Portrait Mode; Front/Rear/Wide 1080p 30fps video; will test other functions later but the menus work
My normal version should work fine on devices that have a decent Camera2 API support. Snapdragon Galaxy S8, Note 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 8, Essential PH-1, HTC U11, etc.

If you have issues, Clearing App Data is recommended. Open "Camera"> Settings>About>View App Settings Page>Storage>Clear Data
LG G6 Lineage users can use the toggle in the wide angle APK to fix their camera ID issue. You must force close the app.
-Added 5 Exposure Time settings for Adaptive Shutter Speed. "Super Slow" is the same as V3.5. "Very Slow" is about 2x faster and so on and so forth. On my phone "Slow" is not actually Slow and matches normal HDR+ Enhanced speed. But it may change depending on device so I left it.
-Normal APK: Save HDR+ choice after going into Settings (credit Miniuser123)
-Organized Settings>Advanced by grouping all HDR+ Enhanced stuff into a section. Changed a couple strings so they'd be translated to other languages.
-Skip Color Fix if Adaptive Shutter is enabled
-Removed Slow Motion menu item unless you have a LG G5, G6, V20, or V30. BUT, you can enable it in Settings>Experimental.
-Wide APK: Change HDR+ Config to Taimen so ZSL (Zero Shutter Lag) is back, but I've defaulted HDR+ to Enhanced. This won't change until you clear app data or go into settings though.
-Wide APK: Remove Slow Motion menu item
2 Separate APK's (download both, they do not require each other though so you can use a different normal lens version if you want):

In normal lighting the shutter speed seems to be the same as before so I don't think it would be a negative to leave this on - but it's your choice and needs testing.
-Added LG G6 Lineage Camera ID Fix toggle to Wide Angle APK so there shouldn't need to be separate Lineage builds for G6 anymore

I have no problem with mine with the normal and wide lens apps. Try un-installing both apps and do a clean up of the phone with a phone cleaner, then re-install both apps.

I don't know what you mean by a "clean up" app but after running Power Clean or whatever it's called my camera still crashes.

That's what I meant, then I have no idea what's causing this.
The last solution might be to reset your phone to factory.

for me the Gcam HDR picture gives the best results
3 images to compare..stock LG with hdr on..gcam with hdr and gcam with hdr enhanced(to dark in my opinion)

no because google's phones doesn't have sd card so google have only the option to store it in internal storage.
I don't know if a developer can change this from within the code without creating bugs and crashes

Hi. I am using this apk of cstark WITHOUT ROOT and the photos look amazing. The only problem I have is that I can not record at 1080p 60fps even if I select that quality. will it be because I have to activate the camera 2 api?
Although it says that it's been tested on an LG G5, when attempting to install onto my LG G5 SE it says that it's incompatible.

If you found green tint in front cam remove app and reinstall or try to fix with the settings

Its not bug free at all. the camera shutter button grey's out every time after clicking 2 or more photos.
and when i start recording any video and again move to the photo mode the camera wont click any pictures.
there isnt any background process.
tested in my Max pro M1 6gb ( Camera2Api Enabled).
i have to everytime clear the data and then restart the phone just to click 2 more pictures.

It says close app..
I have checked manual camera compatibility app..it shows all green ticks..
So if anyone know..

Use footej camera or the default snapdragon camera because gcam is not yet ported sucessfully

No issues, everything working perfectly for now
I'm using V8.3 build 5.1.018.177624777 without problems. Should I remove that and then install it? Also what changes are present between the version I'm using and this? The existing version is working great, and the reviews for this current build have been mixed based on the comments here. Please guide.

v 8.3.b1 is the most stable till now, albeit without night sight.
I think 4k video recording has EIS support in the app. As the video is getting cropped in when video stabilization is enabled. Can anyone verify it

Only the Viewfinder is stabilized and not the actual video. The video recording which is saved is without EIS. as our hardware doesn't support 4K video stabilization.

Bro please read the post. The versions mentioned in video is not fully functional(even described in video). Overall the points I mentioned its nowhere shown. I personally tested more than 30 Gcam mod including those 2 of video. You can test those sections even on those apps alongside other mod versions found here.
May i know whats the difference between those apk supports and Unsupported config file xml? I m on Stock Rom.. Unrooted, Fully stock. Nothing modified in my device. Which one will work fine?

Use cases of .xml file:
This can be used for a few things. For example:
Quickly switch between the best settings for low light and day light;
Use recommended settings from devs/other users for your phone;
Move between versions without loosing your settings;
Keep unstable features enabled on one config but disabled on another;

All the app mod mentioned above is for stock rom (with/without root,doesn't matter). All will work flawlessly.
What is config file?
Google Camera 6.1 versions support export/import of config(.xml) files, allowing users to use the settings of other users. You can also share your settings with other users to provide them best output. Besides this , you can quickly load different settings for different lightning conditions.
If you don't want to use any 3rd party settings, just use 6.2 versions.

Sir 6.2 version need more stability
Sir 6.2 version of gcam 04.06.19 is great overall but we need more stable version specially in night sight sometimes it doesn't work

Please clear data n cache after installation. There may be little issues in each version as all the apps are modded and not officialy supported.

DotFix for the Realme 2 Pro, by wyroczen.
Needs root and a GCam apk with fixes to reduce noise (apks from wyroczen and some from urnyx). More info on the link above.

You have to enable Camera HAL3 first in "Additional Settings->Developer Options"

Realme provided a gcam with a10 compatibility use that for now.

WHATS WORKING IN THIS VERISON:-

3- Simply open app and double tap on black screen of your GCam,in the one side of shutter button.
4- Then load the XML file and BOOM you had loaded the settings of GCam.
5- Finally, now you can start shooting your awesome images.

For viewfinder lag you have to root your Device and flash Magisk Module(Realme Buffer Fix)

Why on "other" ( where you can find panorama setting) there is no lag?
I don't know if "thank you very much" is enough for this. I've been looking for a stable Gcam for realme 6 for a very long time. And this is the most stable version. I am very lucky. Keep it up bro.
Let me address some issues:
1. Night sight isn't working for front camera.
2. Face retouch for back camera (it is working in the front camera only)

For fixing NightSight you have to off [Sabre] by going in ImageSetting.Then it will work for Front Camera Also.

Since I bought the phone I have been using another mode for realme 6. The main thing I miss was the Asto mode. Thanks to this one, it works well. Also the noise reduction was far better compared to the previous mod during low light situations, which has been horrible. Really appreciate your work. Hoping for future mods and apps. In the next version please enable the option to manual controls fro HDR+ mode also so that we could use thisapp instead of stock app for manual mode.

Rooted Realme 6, with the buffer fix its not working at all EXCEPT on the "others" tab its picking up camera images, all the others are black. they do work without the buffer fix but laggy. any solution?

Guys! I found new and best version gcam for realme 6. Only slow motion won't work. Other modes work perfect and photo quality better.
