I have a SM-N950F/DS note 8 and i cant install twrp cause i cant unlock oem is there a solution to this???

So the new moto X can be customized to show a greeting on the boot screen. Now I know its not a big thing but I was curious of that could be implemented on our phones? I am running Carbon Rom currently with Xposed.

looks like one could remove the unlocked padlock, and modify the corrupt warning too if one had such an inclination.

well, padlock is the same as the google script, but the corrupt warning i dont know about.

It's a .png just like the logo and padlock so you should be able to modify it as long as the image retains the same size and file name.

It's super easy to do. I just modified the files with Paint. NOw if we could just someone with artistic ability to work on it we could have some cool boot logos.

no need to root just unlock bootloader install twrp and install cm rom and gapps ,cm is already rooted no need to root again

Apparently not according to the original post on OP3 forums.
I will be locking my bootloader and starting from fresh to test it, if you want to wait.

I've done it just before selling OP2. It's just that most of the hard brick I see are due to people random relocking BL and I'm afraid that may happen to me as well

Thats the link I posted on the one plus forums let me know if the zip is ok as I cannot seem to flash with that so downloaded the zip again and now uploading to AFH

simply means the apk you tried to sideload and was not needed or compatible. happens all the time. thats my guestimate

How did you downgrade? Mine (poco M5s) won't.
miflash times out,
fastboot on windows the same,
fastboot on linux bricks the phone (restorable only in bootrom mode with the stock rom),
xiaomi tool on linux bricks the phone...
