I still haven't received it...any pictures? heard notifications were slightly different too?
Can't say I have noticed notifications being any different really.
Just the background being jet black with crisp white letters now.

It's actually dark blue but it looks Black from far or in pictures, any ways I got a white note and I love it. The carrier I went to get my phone did not have stock at all but thanks to a miracle they restocked just hours before I went to get my phone but only in white. So I really needed a new phone (my previous phone is N97mini thorough nice looking its a huge mistake) and I wanted to get a white as black is so common and I'm truly sick of black phones so I wanted to get the white but last minute I chickened out and wanted a black or rather dark blue but I was forced to get the white as they only restocked white and I'm glad I got a white Note
Its a really nice change for once having it in white and so far no dirt or any thing like that, could be because the phone is glossy for the white so whoever thinking of getting the white do go ahead and get white, maybe be it MIGHT get dirty in the long run but it seems to be a quality white

I was looking for a black/dark blue one but the store only has the white on stock. I never imagined that i'll be having a white phone but im loving this.... The only complain i have with my white note is the back cover. It has smooth glossy finish. I prefer the texture of the back cover of the black note. It is easier to hold even it doesnt have case.

I initially wanted a White, but realized latter that this color is mainly used by women everywhere. So I got myself a Black Note! All my android phones were Black - never got any other color......
Got the white one, and the white flip cover. The blue/black version is butt-ugly

Initially had the dark blue one and used for a month, then I was told the white also got launched, and when I saw it.... GOD... just could not resist the beauty of the beast so gifted the dark blue to my bro and now proudly flaunt the CERAMIC WHITE GALAXY NOTE.

So far it looks like Black is twice as popular as White in this poll.
I've heard people say the black looks much better in person. I am planning to buy white on Friday. I've tried to look at pictures and youtube videos as much as possible, and to me the white looks better. Maybe it's just because I've never not had a black phone, and want something different?
I bought two different cases, a white one and a black one, just to see which I like better when paired with the white phone.
I prefer the Real Gold look but since that's a bronze gold and it wont be out for a while Black is the next best thing
I should mention I live in Ecuador and can't see a phone in person, I have to order via internet with a leap of faith on color choice...
I've seen both. I prefer the white.

Yes. Not sure why they colored it instead of just leaving it brushed metal colored. Although, the black band on the black phone looks awesome...I usually get white until I saw that. Now I went black.
That's WHY i got the white. I like that look for it. If it was merely metal, I'd have gotten the black version.
I really like white front phones and I really like Nexus. But they never seem to come together. Ever since the first Galazy nexus, why does Google seem to be averse to creating phones with white fronts even though they have white bodies? A white N6 running LP would be the perfect combo. Who agrees?
Yeah kind of weird that they go panda style with the black front. You can always go the dbrand route and get a front to make the front white.

With HOLO I would have agreed, but the whites of Lollipop lend themselves quite well to a white face, dont you think?
I'm looking at upgrading my 2013 X to the 2014 model because of today's great deal, but am unsure what color accent I should get. I want it it to match the metallic border on the phone. A lot of pictures I've seen show the border as a metallic silver, so you would think the silver accent would be a good match. However, on the Moto Maker site the border looks a bit darker, and in their mockup the dark grey (black) accent looked best.
For those of you who have either of these accents colors in real life, which do you think matches the border better?

Ah, I was not aware that there were 2 colors, and that they were affected by the color of the front faceplate. Pity, as I wanted a black face but liked the lighter metallic border. Oh well, black face w/ dark grey border and trim it is, then. Thanks!
As the title says, which color did you buy and why?
the blue one because the combination of colours are the best.... really bored about black ones and my last was orchid gray who was very nice too. the yellow pen have a style look so is the perfect combination... the only thing that i dont like is the blue colour because is a little bit dark tone.

Went for the black due to the fact network didn't have any other color on the 512gb version.. If by choice would be the grey one.
Ocean Blue i went for as the Yelllow S-Pen looks Awesome..
Blue cause it came with the yellow pen and because I couldnt get copper.
Bought blue. Because it looks awesome. I usually prefer black. But in note 9, blue look pretty cool.

Bought the blue one, I like the fact the s pen is yellow(easier to find that way) plus black is a bit old for me
I have the black, had the choice of that or the blue. But there's something sexy about the all black version! May invest in the yellow pen to set it off further ?

Black since that'll look better in most cases. I'll always keep it in a case and the majority of those come in black so I figured I'd get the color that was the closest match.
If I wouldn't have been planning to use a case I might've gotten the blue one. It looks nice but it's a bit of a fingerprint magnet though.
Blue. Because I was able to snag a brand new 512GB for $750. Luckily, I happen to like the blue anyway, but with that price I would've bought it anyway.

I 100% agree. The only reason I would have purchased Ocean Blue is because there was no other dark choice. So I chose to wait until Midnight Black was finally available in the US. I had a blue Nexus 6 and hated it.
