SDHC?

Will the Kaiser support SDHC? Anyone has already tried it?
**BuMp**
It appears that Kaiser does support this from the specs given by the online retailers that are now starting to form a crowd (with the release very near now).... But as most of us are still waiting for this wonder-machine, and not lucky enough to play around with a pre-prod unit, i'll have to ask it again to the lucky one....:
Does TyTN II support MicroSDHC cards or not ? Please enlight us...current owners of a Kaiser... 2Gb just isn't big enough anymore for a poweruser...
Ow....and by the way: i've already pre-ordered one from our distributor in NL: Dangaard Telecom (www.dangaard.nl), and they said it's due to arrive within 3 weeks or so (first half of september)...
Hi
Paul over at www.modaco.com has used an SDHC card in a pre-production Kaiser and it works with no problems.
Regards
Phil
i think its sad that its microSD, it should be mini, why couldnt they fit that? seriously we would all be running around with cheap 4-8gb with mini :/
microSD 4-8gb will cost an arm and a leg
I bought 2 4GB microSDHCs off eBay a couple weeks back -- only $60 each. 4GB miniSDHCs seem to run in the $50 range. Also, remember that 6 & 8GB microSDHCs are on the way. In fact at least one site is pre-selling the 6GB cards for $78 and are expecting to receive them tomorrow.
i'm super excited to be able to get an 8GB microSD card for this bad boy (when i get it). Just another reason to upgarde
Im currently using a 4gb micro sdhc in the Kaiser and it works great.
Me too using a 4gb micro sdhc in the Kaiser and it works great !!!!!
According to PDAEssential review of Kaiser it does officially support MicroSDHC cards...
But i'm not sure where are this guys getting their information from...

I am pretty sure that I will end up buying a 8GB card.
Let's see:
~ 1.5GB for GPS maps
~ 100MB for Dictionaries and References
~ 200-300MB for Applications and Games
~ 100MB for Family/Friends pictures and slideshows
~ 3.0GB for Music (about 600 songs)
~ 3.0GB for Movies/Videos (probably 3-4 all time favorite movies and a few music/fun videos)
That's approx. 8.0GB! I'm pretty sure my guesses are off but any free space is always good!
I am planning on getting a new Head Unit for my car that supports bluetooth streaming. That way I am set. I will have a GPS and a mp3 player wherever I take my phone.
I recommend the Sony BT headunits -- the MEX-5000BT if you need preouts, the 2500 if you don't. I've been using the 5000 with my Wizard since January. The phone & A2DP modes work better than any headset I've ever used.

Yes, I can confirm this, however I was using a Magician and using now a Trinity with WM6. Works very well.

Did anyone tried 32Gb micro sdhc on X1?

May be too high price : )
http://shop.sandisk.com/store/sdisk...=S6s6ZwoHAisAAArzFQ4AAAAB&rests=1269512807325
high price I would buy a x10 or HTC before getting that 32gb card. My x1 was $400 alone and this would be an extra $250 just saying for $650 we could buying something with alittle more power..
I bought another 16GB memory cards with only Rp. 360.000,- or around 35 US$ last week.
So if would like to buy 32GB, how to buy 2 16GB memory cards?
Hi,
I'm thinking about 32GB microSD, too. It's getting cheaper and cheaper day by day on ebay and dhgate...
Can anybody confirm that it works?
I'll order one and try it myself if nobody says that xperia x1 doesn't compatible with it.
lol this is wayyy to much money for me to dabble into!
$18.24 ?
I'll order one from dhgate and will report my experience.
I got one from expansys, working like a charm
Nice to hear that it works. I intend to buy one too but I dont want to waste monney on a card that wont be recognised by my Xperia X1.
Sorry, i just wanted to say that i didn't order it at the end. I wanted it faster, so i bought an 8gb one.
I think I'm going to order one soon since the price has come down a bit. The minute I hold it in my hands I will post my experience.
did 16gb works ok?
Work perfect
no problems in lagging? No hang-ups? I'm using 8gb right now and am afraid of upgrading because I had problems before when I have lots of apps installed and it slowed down my phone. Like reallly slow.
this time i m using 16 gb sandisk microsd card which is work awesome without any problem ya definately xperia support 32 gb card without any problem because xperia Hardware is Much Better than Other device and good Configuration
I had 16 GB in my x1... and despite my best effort i never used more than 5 GB, so i deleted few useless things, inserted back my 4 GB card, and the 16 GB card is now in my PSP, where it's still used by, say, 50% only.
And to stay on topic, yes, it works, i had the pleasure to test it, though i never had one... edit: and regarding lags: it's more like how much files are on the card, not how big they are... you can stock up 512 MB card to lags as simple as you can do so with 32 GB... just you don't use MP3's but text files... to prevent this, create subfolders... example:
\Music\Favorite Singer\Favorite Album\Favorite Song.mp3
this way there is no chance to experience any lags while browsing files...
btw: try to open \windows\ folder, that's how it should not look...

Absolutely right.
I'm using a 16GB one, with around 600 songs (sorted in folders by genre\artist\album), no lagging when browsing card or using phone.
There shouldn't be a reason why a 32gb card won't work.
It works perfectly but if you feel it bit slower just use tnyynt SD TuneUP app which makes the reading realy fast for more energy of course...
I have finally got my hands on a 32 GB card. It's a Sandisk class 4 and it is recognized by the Xperia X1 without any problems at all. And I don't think there is any difference in writing/ reading speed between my old 16 GB Sandisk class 2 and the new one. I'm absolutely satisfied.
NO
I think it‘s impossible, because it can make X1 become slower and slower!
Bad English
Good Chinese
I’m a chinese
中国人,哈哈!!
4Gb enough..
I'm using 4Gb, i think dat's enough for me..

[Q]32 GB MicroSD

I am sincerely sorry for asking this probably that question was so many times asked that youre really just pissed at looking at this BUT last one time Is our x8 i capable of running 32 gb microsd card without any problems becuse I have right now 8 GB and its just not much of a space and i cant have only 2 times more space i need bigger like 32 gigs and i dont wanna buy card that will not work on my phone becuse it will be waste of money
Please just one more time is 32 GB memory card will work with our phone ?
ps I was thinking of some cheap one like kingston or maybe sandisk
I've made a little research and X8 officially supports 16GB. But this is a limitation for original Android 1.6.
I think that Android 2.1+ handles 32GB+ SD Cards just fine.

I can confirm that a 32GB ADATA Class 4 mSD works in the X8.
Stock Kernel and ROM in question is GingerDX v022.
I also tried a 32GB Samsung Class 10 mSD - gave problems in the X8 but works absolutely fine in my Samsung Galaxy S II (now, who would've thought that? )
so i think i just buy a 32 gigs class 4 card thanks
maybe it will slow down your phone..

firmware version 16gb works on 8gb?

good afternoon, friends xda have seen that the model r1 16gb will get the rom stock however need to know that firmware it works for the 8GB version or failing if the 8GB version can be retrieved from a brick even without the original software, thanks (I'm talking about the 2 versions either custom or amazon) Thank you in advance for your help.
I have not seen anyone on here who bought the 8 GB version because it makes no sense to halve the storage and memory for a measly $10. Therefore, all the development work has been done on the 16 GB phone. If it were me, I would return it and buy the 16 GB instead. You have never been able to get this much benefit for $10.

Compatible 2GB RAM Modules

hi,
i want to upgrade my erisin 4046 (KGL MTCD) and if this works for some other guys in group, too.
On ebay i've found a cheap memory.
MT41K128M16JT-125-IT-K-FBGA96-DDR3-2GB-Memory
its a 2GB Module so i have to replace it with the 1GB Module.
Could somebody confirm the compatiblity with rk3188 MTCD or is this the wrong ram?
thanks!
