What's the best ROM for Moto G5S Plus? - Moto G5S Plus Questions & Answers

I'm planning to root my 2 months old Moto G5S Plus and I'm wondering what's the best ROM to load?
I'm also intrigued of what Viper+Dolby Atmos can do with this device, does it make any difference than stock equalizer or PowerAmp?
Please enlighten me. Thank you.

As of now the ROM which i suggest is [ROM][8.1.0][sanders][OFFICIAL] Pixel Experience
1.Less bugs.
2.Pure pixel experience.
3.Pure android.
4.IT'S 64BIT ROM.
5.Much smoother ROM.
6.U wont regret.
Press THANK YOU if it helps.

Different roms have different features to suit different people. The best is the one that meets your needs. Try them, choose for yourself.

Screen Mirroring Doesn't Work on Stock Moto ROM or Validus Rom

I've tested it and realized that screen mirroring to a smart TV or fire stick or Xbox One Cia AirServer isn't working properly in Validus. It starts mirroring, begins flickering, then completely reboots the phone. To be honest, it did the same thing in the stock Moto ROM, too. Motorola is doing something wrong. Screen mirroring even works on my $100 Amazon fire tablet.
Why do you guys need to root your phones even its already on stock Android OS? Smh

Why do you guys just blindly accept what limited options OEM's choose to allow you to have instead of maximizing the features on your device by gaining administrative rights to your software and customizing it as you wish? Smh
Sent from my rooted g5s plus with an excellent 8.0 custom ROM :highfive::good:

Those of us who believe that we can do as we please with something we paid for root so we can do just that.
If one is happy with stock, no need to root.
If one isn't .....

Any Volte or 4G or IMEI problems after custom ROMS?

Hello. I am thinking about going towards this device to buy. I noticed on the Moto G5 Plus page that alot of users are having VOLTE, 4G and IMEI problems when they are flashing roms.
Is this commonly a problem with the Moto G5s Plus? because having VOLTE and 4G are very important factors for me. Also, is it just for Custom Oreo roms that this is happening to, or all roms in general? Thanks!

Is there ever gonna be an android p rom for moto g5s plus ?

I have just bought a moto g5s plus...after upgrading from Lenovo k5. So I was wondering if we should expect a Pie rom in the near future. I'm a newbie so I was wondering if this phone can run a 64bit os(android pie). I really don't have any idea about any "bit conversion" or if its possible or not...I would really love to receive some response from this community regarding this issue.
Thank You,

ROMs for Jeter

Any ROMs anywhere for the boost Moto g6 play? It seems like an awful lot of trouble to root if there's zero Roms or mods. Anyone know what the deal is? Would really like to run lineage on here.

We are very lucky the g6+ has a rom at all and sadly it will probably stay that way. However, if you have rooted stock you can make do with xposed framework and install Gravity Box to achieve a lot of customization available in custom roms.

Do we have GCAM for the Moto E5?

Does anyone know of a port that serves the MOTO E5?

I'm pretty doubtful right now as MotoJunkie is now inactive, and he was the only active dev who fixed bugs, etc.
It's a 32 bit kernel so I think that's a problem, I've been wanting portrait for a while myself on my Boost Mobile Moto E5 Plus.
