In all oreo roms I'm having a problem. When i copy or move files to sd card it corrupted and i couldn't open it. I tried another sd card But the same problem remains.

I have this peculiar problem, sometimes my sd card wont auto-mount.
Thats not really a issue since its easily fixed, but the thing is that when the sd card is not mounted, another folder is used in its place.
so when i try to access the sd card i go to /mnt/sdcard/_externalsd/
Sometimes i get the correct sd card contents, but sometimes i get another folder, containing stuff and photos that ive been placing there when the sd card was not present.
This eats my internal memory and i cannot find this non-mount-folder when the sd card is mounted.
So i wonder, is it possible to disable read/write to this default non-mount folder so it appears as if the sd card isnt present (when it isnt) instead of as it is now, faking a virtual sd card?
Just unmount your sd card then copy the files from externel/ to some backup folder on your internal sd . To get the mounting issue fixed you could mount your sdcard on a pc and format it with the standart system tool , just rightclick the sdcard once its mounted and select format, dont do quick format dunno if thats also gonna work
No auto amount is also due sometimes to a recovery reboot from Rom Manager directly

I have a problem.
I can't seem to get in my external sd card anymore. It doesn't matter if i put in a new sd card because the folder on my internal sd card called external_sd is a folder that i created on my own.
But the problem is that that folder isn't linked to my external_sd card, how am i supposed to fix this?
In ICS the external sd is mount on /mnt/emmc

Took me a while to find the external sd card, it is listed as storage/sdcard1 but I can't access any internal sd card, I assumed it would be listed as storage/sdcard0 but clicking that just gives me an empty folder.
When I attach the phone to the PC only the external sd card shows up. CWM-recovery can't mount the sd card either (I have tried with CWM6 and CWM5).
I tried mounting the sd card from "settings-device-storage" and it starts to do it and then stops.
I could maybe live with this but I use Sygic for a satnav and that is telling me there is no sd card present, so I can't use it.

Hi guys, I have a problem with my external sd card (atleast I think). I can open files from it from my file manager( I use ES file manager) but I cannot access my files from my Music Player. And also when I try to open Camera, Google Music and so on they seem to force close. Also when i reboot the phone it says "Preparing sd card" and that's it. I have noticed that when I remove my external sd card the phone is back to normal and I can access all the apps in the phone. So I ask you this. First, is this a external sd card problem? And second, no matter if it's a external sd card or internal storage how can I fix it? (I have formatted my external sd card from my phone like 3 or 4 times and I formatted it 1 time from my PC). Please help me!
I have marshmallow stock rom and I use sd card as internal storage, but the applications in the sd card don't work properly.For example facebook or skype delay to start. My sd card is 16 gb class 10, and its a petty if it is useless.Please help.
I got this problem too. I think its the problem in the encryption because now its encrypted as ext4 i think and you cant acess SD card it without phone through SD reader. If you got a solve for this problem someone,get an advice please. My only solve is that: dont move appliactions on sd card,only games i have on sd card now. Sorry for bad english.
