Hey - Erisin ES4763C - Help - MTCB Android Head Units General

I don't know where to post this so I'm posting here due to the amount of other Erisin posts.
I'm in the middle of looking for a double din head unit for my Rav4, this Erisin ES4763C head unit has come up on eBay / Erisin website when googled.
After reading a lot of reviews its putting me off spending around £250 on this head unit with camera, reverse camera, DAB+ etc.
I'm after a head unit that will do almost everything and it seems to fit the bill.
I'm wanting to know are they easily fixable, are they able to refund money if said item is broken? I'll be paying via PayPal to get some protection.
I like to research before I plunge in. Youtube videos seem to have helped a bit on what they do and they seem ok.
Would you recommend buying one or should I stay clear? - Just don't want to end up looking like Homer Simpson in my car with separate things like dash cam, satnav and bluetooth headset. (Season 14, episode 20.) (google "homer simpson car gadgets" since im not allowed to post links yet.)

After a bit more research, I've come across Xtrons PCD67HGT that does all the same stuff as Erisin but without the TV option. (But who drives with TV on?)
I honestly don't know which head unit to go for.
I'm after a head unit that can do these:
DAB+
Dash cam record + speed
Sat Nav
Reverse camera
Hands free phone
Steering wheel control
WiFi + 4G (or connect to phones 4G. Is this possible? So I don't have to buy another sim card?)
DVD + mirroring for back passengers.
What head units are there for me? Vehicle is a RAV4 2004 gen 2 D-4D.
I have around £260 to spend.
Thank you.

anybody familiar with double din experience

I Have a 2004 sierra and I'm looking to get my first double din so I don't know too much about them or have any experience on how they work or there UI.
I was really into the Alpine line but a blogger or whoever on youtube said Alpine is laggy, and said that pioneer has a really good GPS system and is updated the most frequent. But to my understanding I thought pioneer was a lower brand and that Walmart sells pioneer product. I'm not looking to spend $300 and hope for the best and I'm not looking to overpay just for a name. I really don't mind paying 600 since you get what you pay for. Does anybody have any good recommendations on a model that has all the bells and whistles and 3 RCA connections?
GPS (not so important tho)
HDMI or some way to mirror. I could do Google Maps that way
Bluetooth streaming.
DVD player
3 rca outlets for amps
Not laggy
I did see some Android powered double dins but from what I read they were all Chinese brands.

Major help needed and appreciated.

What's going on guys, I'm new to the android auto but not new to the rooting and flashing of Android devices.
Anyway, I own a 2007 Mercedes CLS 63. I have been looking to update the HU but I feel like I'm stuck in a twilight zone of decisions. The HU I want I'd like it to match the same bracket/buttons that my oem HU has. I found several websites that make these HU (Xtrons, Erisin, Joying(outdated hardware compared to the other two)). I been reading all over the Android auto topics for a week now and just need y'all experienced opinions. I want the New px5 chipset HU and I plan on installing it myself (hopefully with some help from you guys).
Units I am looking to buy
Xtron- PB76M211AP
or
Erisin- ES6501B
I heard pros and cons on both xtrons and erisin, I heard more pros on reliability of xtrons. Which one would you guys suggest?
Xtrons HU for my car on their official website is 100-150$ more then the ebay one, how come? Is the ebay seller lying that its xtron?
Is the wifi problem fixed? I plab on using my phone hotspot to watch sports/movies mostly since I work with my car mostly.
Is the screen mirroring reliable?
What entices me more then anything is the dash cam and reverse cam. I want my dash cam to record/take a screen shot when the car is off and the car gets bumped from parking (NYC parking is atrocious). I just finished putting 13k onto my car because a lady that didnt know how to park messed up my front end, lady its an expensive car! Luckily insurance took care of it.
That's it for now id appreciate any help, I love the idea of an android HU, but if it's more of a hassle then it is worth it then I'm just going to stay oem.

Newbies head unit buyers guide

I scanned thru several of these forums looking at the stickies in particular plus a few searches. However, I didn't find anything that would guide the selection of my 1st Android head unit. In particular, I am looking for the pros and cons of each type (Intel vs PX3 vs PX5, etc), as well as preferred manufacturers. I can fit a universal 2DIN in the dash with slight alterations. I would like to mod the unit so significant community involvement in customization is very important to me vs. having the latest and greatest thing out there. I want to hook up the unit to my Canbus so I can capture the steering wheel signals in my 2012 Ram 1500. I think that my truck has an external amp, but that it uses speaker-level signals vs. line level to drive. I have a factory externally amplified sub in the back. What other features are discriminators when trying to select the best unit? Thanks in advance!
Paul
I've had a bad experience with android (bought from Erisin) my unit died after only 6 months use (PX3 board) I then bought a PX5 board which only lasted a few weeks - when working the PX3 was ok - PX5 was faster - the unit I got seems impossible to get into recovery thus far. Erisin won't provide any support as they know it's too late for me to complain to Ebay or Paypal. I liked the android but I would look for a unit that has good support and is easy to get into recovery should things go wrong. I also have another car which has Windows system (Xtrons) but with built in DAB which apart from minor glitches has been good but is a little restricted with some software I would like to use.

Android head unit recomendations.

Im looking to get an android based head unit for my 2004 Chevy Tahoe and not sure where to start. I see so many of them and a lot of them have very mixed reviews and I dont want to end up with junk.
What I do want:
Something with dual bluetooth so I can do mainly calls and occasional music and also have my OBDII scanner hooked up.
Rootable, not too concerned about custom roms but would be fun to play around with
Would prefer to have a CD/DVD drive but not a huge must.
Must have Steering wheel controls also.
I have been looking at a few Pumpkin units but just not sure what one to get. I was also looking at the Joying but they dont seem to make any real standard double din head units. They all seem to be vehicle specific. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
Try Xtrons unit on eBay I have one in my 2008 Tahoe and man it's a great unit
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I ended up getting the ATOTO A6. It should be here today. I got the 2gig/32gig model. Plus I picked it up on Amazon and if its junk or anything, they have a pretty awesome return policy with stuff. First order of business will be to try and root it cause I cant leave well enough alone. haha

honestly stay away from any HU from china... they are all headaches one way or another. Go with something expensive.. like alpines andriod unit.. your looking at 1200 CAN. but w9rth every dime i sure wish i did and i use to install them for a living.
I got a seicane s0480.. had a bad circuitboard they sent me a new one.. now i cant use my screen..
Eonon have issues they all do. Spend your money on something worth it with less hassle
Im using Xtrons TA701PL and it really runs like a charm.
Some of the most important setups are there, and its got expansion slots for everything and then some.
Sound is way better than i expected, perhaps some would argue that the amp is a little to the lower side, but its still able to blast out your speakers if you want to.
Ive tried a various amount of the unbranded CH HU´s from Ebay/Amazon, but nothing compares to Xtrons, i even had one of these unbranded ones having 20 mins to open spotify!, on my Xtrons, its there allmost instant.
Support wise, they do have a forum, but its one of those forums where you cant just post anyways, but they have to allow your post to be shown, so its 110% useless, BUT they do have a online chat, where you allso can leave an email, and they do respond pretty quickly.
I had 1 issue with mine, a faulty cable, and they sendt me a new one, at no charge.
Only real wierd issue software wise i have, is some apps seems to see BT as turned off, this seems to be a trend among Android HU´s, every single one ive tried has this, it can sometimes interferer with some apps that need BT to be activated.
I bought mine directly at Xtrons

Im close to buying the PA77HGTP, reverse camera, DVR camera comes to around £251. I'm close to clicking the button but something's putting me off. They recently brought out 8.0 with 4gb ram. But doesn't fit my car
There's no videos etc for showing the newer Xtrons working that I can find.
Hmm just don't know what to do.

Main question is: how good are you at DIY electronics? If not good at all you might want to consider buying a unit from a specialized company that will also set it up in your car.
After using several chinese HUs here are my findings:
All the units I have seen have low quality glossy LCD screens. If you live in a sunny area don't expect to see anything on the screen.
There is no QC at the end of the production cycle. That is why people receive units with non functioning screens or get weird errors from units with bad internal connections.
System architecture is unnecessarily complicated AND has serious limitations. For example you cannot: use a BT dongle or use a generic camera with the DVR app.
Bluetooth phone connections are generally of poor quality.
Some 4G modems work, others don't - no drivers.
Dual-zone (i.e having satnav on the HU screen and play a movie on the back screens) isn't generally available and you should specifically ask for that.
Steering wheel controls work as long as you have a resistive- type SWC. If not, additional modules are required.
Older units (with Android 4.4 or 5.1) have too little RAM and may become extremely slow.
With that said you can still find good value for money, just make sure you talk to the seller before paying anything and confirm every single feature for your specific car model. Chinese will answer any question before sale and pretty much disappear after sale.
I cannot comment on DAB+, never used it.
