Hey guys MIUI has released a standalone lockscreen app for other ROM. Still an early release but it works very well.

Check this out! A MiLocker!
- able to use existing MIUI lockscreen mtz.
- custom wallpaper needs to be converted to "mtz". Regular jpeg, png file not supported yet.
- this is a lockscreen replacement. Not a complete MIUI theme.
- supports android 2.2 and 2.3
Tips:
- combine it with Zdune's CM7 Meizu theme or Gabwerkz MIUI launcher mod and Gabwerkz framework patch

- MIUI Lockscreen themes are available in thousands here in xda or miui forums. Just copy the "MTZ" file into sdcard/miui/themes.

- The downloaded file sometimes switched to ZIP or RAR, rename it to mtz. but check it first what files are inside. If there is mtz inside zip/rar, extract it, if it contains "preview" folder, "wallpaper" folder, lockscreen.xml etc so you safely rename the extension to "mtz".
- Some of those themes won't work without an original MIUI ROM, I suggest you to choose ones from online lockscreen provided in the app. So try yourself

I am on cyanogenmod, but i remember when i was on stock rom, many lockscreen replacements didn't work and some, like go locker etc. gave force closes and hangs. Once i rooted the device, it worked fine.
Try rooting your stock rom, see if it works.

The problem is that I can't even install. When I open the APK it shows a popup that have something like this: "has occurred a problem analyzing the package".

Thanks for sharing, it works great. But there is one thing, is it possible to make lockscreens fade instead of just jump right into screen when you unlock?... I think it looks weird. The stock lockscreen have this feature that I really want.

@all: sorry to mention, this app is for android version 2.3 only.
About fade transition, we must modify the xml inside. I don't have an idea about those script, sorry again lolz.

Yeap, not much themes are works well, for now. But sms or call notification enabled theme are working very well

Cool lockscreens. I'm using the simple one, black red circle, SMS and Call are functioning well. MIUI is bomb! Lots of customizations.

Wierd, I tried those themes on Galaxy S2 with Oxygen ROM 2.3 and Nexus One CM7, even Galaxy Tab P1000 rooted stock 2.3.3 (1200x600 resolution) and almost all running perfectly, also others that didn't work on my Oblack...

Hey everyone,
since i don't use MIUI any more and I have no more time to maintain this thread,
I gave my friend TweetyPeety the permission to create a new thread.

2. search for app you need and open it
3. for example angry birds:
in the url bar you can see the process name like this

1. rename your xxxx.mtz file to xxxx.zip now extract everything to your desired folder.
2. rename the icons file to icons.zip
3. rename the icon png to the right process name (see first post)
4. open the icons.zip file and put the png into it
5. rename it back to icons (without .zip)
6. now put the icons file into your xxxx.zip and rename it back to xxxx.mtz
done...

I see why you guys took time with the template, I tried making one from the miui_mod_icons resources myself but it was difficult. None of my icons have the same 'pizaz' that the Miro ones do.

CM10 does not support icon themes. Only option for non MIUI users is to use a custom Launcher (but that only themes icon in the launcher, not system-wide).

it actually is possible to change only icons with theme chooser, but then if you want to change whole theme to something else, icons change to default/ones from other theme too

This is a flashable theme designed based on the Flyme OS for the LG G5 H850 with unlocked bootloader running 10D software version. You can install it also over Fluence HD.
The theme comes with Aroma installer: you can chose between several options and restore stock if you want.
The framework files and the LGSystemUI.apk will be reflashed, all other files will be themed with layers.
The package contains:
- themed framework (navbar has PrimaryColor, safe volume disabled,
- themed notification panel
- themed volume panel
- brightness and volume sliders recolored
- themed statusbar icons including Bt and Nfc icons
- center clock (option)
- AOSP signal cluster with Flyme icons
- themed Contacts and InCallUI
- themed Email
- themed AlarmClock
- themed Settings icons (only listview!)
- fonts
- Flyme bootanimation
- Flyme media files
- Flyme themed Aroma installer
Despite long hours of testing and fighting I could not manage to implement the real Flyme switches, so I had to go back to the stock switches (recolored).
Since the stock ROM supports RRO Layers the theme comes partially in form of overlay apk-s.
Layers is an extension of run-time resource overlay (RRO). RRO is a framework created by Sony for them to create Xperia themes but also for quick internal prototyping. Layers uses the native android code to do what it does. It is absolutely secure. Layers allows you to theme every app individually which also adds the ability to mix and match various layer packages, cool isn't it? Just run the Aroma installer in TWRP and enjoy the possibilities.

Works Great! AROMA is fully working and has all needed Options. My Install Method was Fluence HD ROM 10D - Fluence HD Patch THIRTEEN and your Flyme Theme V1.
The Theme itself is looking Great for a V1! But one big Problem resists... Layers is still not working for me. I can see the "Installed Layers", but doesn't have a Effect... I've read all Your Comments about that on the G5 and G4(!?) Forums... But i don't get the Point! We really need to find a way to get it working for everyone. Hope You can help us with that...

Hy Kickoff the only thing that is not themed are the Apps like phone and so on Settings Icons are not themed too ??? I got an error massage in twrp the quick Settings are themed strange thing i run the Fluence hd with Patch thirteen on H850

Nope I'm still locked, I'm hoping for a 850 port because with the framework from a different G5 we shouod be able to unlock the normal way with a code. I hope someone can port soon

There a way I can remove the ks8 logo from the status bar in v7? To me it's not attractive and I like a clean status bar. I'm using the kings rom mod apk from v2 since all the features like removing data flow and battery bar disabled are disabled for selection on v5 and up.
Anyways hope someone can help me here.

Kingrommods app is inside king rom, just select modded system ui and will be installed. No need to download it

I know but what I'm saying is I have the apk extracted from v2. The kingsrommod apk from v2 since its got settings I like. I deleted the one from v7 which I'm on now and I've swapped them out basically. My problem is I didn't save v7 and I really don't want to re-do my phone again all over...takes me like 30 mins to set up fully since I manually debloat and ad custom stuff etc.

Just extract it from the zip of v7, but why you use your from v2 that have less mods and is builded for old version? I can't understain

V7 has settings I like to use locked fo4 pro purchase only...that is why I use v2.
I went ahead and re-flashed the rom and I found the removal settings for the logo however it requires me to have the pro feature which I don't have and can't afford to get..Please find me a solution to this issue. I'm unsure why you would require pro status of the app for features that are free in all other versions of your rom prior to v5. I use:
Hide battery bar
Disable data flow from status bar
And another one I can't think of
These are for pro users only so I'm using v2 for that reason.
Great rom otherwise and I like the speed of it. Reminds me of twist3d rom from the s5. Only drawback is the forced logo in the status bar.

I went ahead and re-flashed the rom and I found the removal settings for the logo however it requires me to have the pro feature which I don't have and can't afford to get..Please find me a solution to this issue. I'm unsure why you would require pro status of the app for features that are free in all other versions of your rom prior to v5. I use:
Hide battery bar
Disable data flow from status bar
And another one I can't think of
These are for pro users only so I'm using v2 for that reason.

How to use
Make sure you are using ROOTED android 6.0+
Download and install manager
Grant root and choose option for module/gboard (gboard version is stored in data of gboard)
Go to middle button with arrow down called download and pick theme packs you want to download then click fab button to install

Known bugs
MIUI users have to reboot each time they download themes or do the same what Color OS does
Color OS, Realme OS needs to turn off "Use Magisk" in settings to get it working
App won't work properly if you don't have connection to github
Crashes on stock nubia rom (?)

Awesome realease! Everything working so far (Zenfone 8, Android 11 - ZenUI 8.0).
Maybe changing the behaviour of selecting ALL themes when choosing a Keyboard Pack.
Also, isn't there a flag to colorize the NavBar?

Navbar flag got removed in Gboard 10.9 :/
i miss it so much. the only way now is to spoof phone to Google brand (there's test module on channel but not recommended on stock based roms)

Thank you so much for this, @RKBD The themes work great, but I'm having trouble installing sounds.
I select a sound and tap install, but nothing happens after that I've tried rebooting, checking storage permissions, clearing cache etc. but no luck. I'm on OnePlus 8T running OOS 11.0.8.13.

seems like sounds doesn't work on some OEM roms like miui/color os/oxygen os
i've tested rboard only on aosp roms so idk about rest

I appreciate the quick response! I've read that OxygenOS is closer to AOSP than most OEM roms, so perhaps it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to get working. I would be happy to help in any way I can!

It was closer to aosp only in Marshmallow days OOS 3.1.8 was the last "aosp" version, later it was just marketing trick imo.
We will try to add support for more but it will take some time. For now we only support AOSP based roms.

nope. the "ro." props cannot be added with adb without root. (tried multiple ones still no way for non root version)

all the themes of the App are already inside gboard.
