CM9 Camera not work fine, but the rom is RC?, another way to use other camera app

Hi!
I have one question.
I tested CyanogenMOD 9 RC1 by maclaw ROM, but the camera app still not totally works.
I tried with others camera apps and this apps gave crash error.
Exist another way to can to use the camera with more functions??
I guess the RC version is a near final version is a release candidate, so I think that the camera should work a little better, or otherwise should still be in Beta.
Exist another way to use a camera with apps like instagram, hdr camera etc??

The camera works only for taking pictures.
Without them open max drivers, we can't get video recording.
I was browsing the forums. and there are a number of ics roms for other devices.
They don't have video camera but they are RC.
Try any fingersoft camera app, i've heard they work.

[REQ APP] Google Camera from OxygenOS

Hi guys.
Any chance of getting a working flashable zip with Google Camera from OxygenOS?
When I take pictures with Google Camera using flash my photos get dual tone from the dual led flash.
With Google Camera from OxygenOS, we can take pictures using flash without getting dual tone.

Makes sense - otherwise when Google updates the camera app it would fail again.

I also have this issue on CM12, but not when using CameraNext from http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/app-cameranext-modded-t2999275
I'm going to delve into the OxygenOS ROM and see if I can pull a driver over from it. Otherwise I'd recommend using the pathced CameraNext until CM12S official, then install that.
EDIT: The version of Google Camera with OxygenOS appears to be the same as the version from the Play Store. This issue exists both with Camera2 and with Google Camera. CameraNext is the best way to go imho, unless I get time to compare every driver file between CM12 and OxygenOS.

I'm currently using Oxygen ROM and just have the NextCamera Mod downloaded.

This is same version of camera... Just Oxygen uses other libs for camera than cm... dont know about cm12s but oxygen uses some opensource engine for camera... cm uses qcom closedsource libs... IMO oxygen os camera is still buggy (not focusing on hdr, i need to focus before i change to HDR) but takes pictures defenitely faster which i am surprised... BTW i am not fanboy of Oxy

Google Camera Video - AutoFocus problem?

Guys, I'm on the latest marshmallow. Google Camera's recording is not autofocusing. Is it a feature? Tested with different Camera app, the AF is fine except in Google Camera.
Would you guys mind testing it out?

MIUI Camera crashes on official ROM greater than NAMMIEI with Camera2 API enabled

Anything newer than NAMMIEI (the new stable NAMMIEK for instance, or the dev roms after NAMMIEI) have the MIUI Camera crash with Camera2 API enabled. The crash log says it had an error at getMaxSaturation.
Modded Google Camera works, but slow motion crashes the app, which wouldn't happen on NAMMIEI.
NAMMIEI works flawlessly, both cameras work without any issues other than Gcam front facing portrait.
Wondering if there's a fix for at least the MIUI Camera or if it's going to stay this way...

Either use C2api and Gcam else Disable the C2Api it's not MIUI compatible.

I want to try enabling my camera to use camera2 api to shoot raw. I am on NAMMIEK right now. If this MIUI version is not compatible, what other ROM can I use on my Redmi 4X (Santoni) that I can use to shoot raw pictures? thanks in advance

Working Gcam v6.2.30

Hey guys,
This is a working version of GCAM V6.2.30, which supports timelapse.
What doesn't work:
1. Motion photos seems to be hit or miss, sometimes they crash the Google photos app
2. Slow motion does not work because the camera does not support 120fps video (1/4x slow motion requires 120 fps)
3. Manual Focus does not work in HDR and or with Flash.
Everything else works, just need to change front camera base model to Nexus 6p
Bulkin043's modded ports work the best compared to all other modders, i have not been successful in running Arnova's mod, the front camera of which crashes instantly.
Sadly, the guys at google cam ports decided not to host Bulkin043's ports going forward anymore (i dont know why).
The latest version which you can download is v5TR, which works,

P.s. : going forward, for this phone, i think this is the best modder whose ports we can rely on.
I know a lot of people direct to Arnova, but sadly, his ports doesn't work very well except for Gcam V5.
Edit : Arnova's latest build for 6.2.30 is also working, but as of now it is not updated on the google cam port page, uploaded to gdrive and shared.

Edit 2 : Arnova's build fails to click photos in Non-Hdr mode, it most of the time does not do anything in non-hdr mode and sometimes crashes.
