Use this camera & Go to advanced settings change manual ofset level to 63.50 and turn on portrait mode for all devices. Set the model to nexus 5 and set the iso level on the main scren to 625 or 3200. Hit like if this helps.

A query.

Man it needs Camera 2 API enabled, and for that i definitely need unlocked bootloader and optional root. Root is not necessary but editing the build.prop using fastboot method is little tough. So root using magisk and unlock the bootloader using official method provided by Xiaomi. It won't harm your device. Do like my rply & ask if u want to root and unlock your bootloader, I will guide u, and the way which won't void your warranty & OTA updates.

More query.

Hi body
I do not know how to do it.
How to remove the bootloader?
Thnx
So, by issuing "fastboot erase userdata" we are effectively skipping step 13 from the guide (factory reset in stock recovery)?
If not, how to power off the phone after "fastboot reboot"?

I still needed to boot to recovery and do a factory reset on my honor 8. I skipped fastboot reboot and just held the Power + Volume Up until I saw the Boot Logo.

There should be a Portrait or Wide Aperture mode in the camera app. If you find one, test it and see if the depth effect works. I doubt it will though.

I see. You can actually install the Huawei stock camera app which should restore dual camera functionality. The only problem is some people are having issues setting it up.
Here's the link to the thread about it: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr.../huawei-stock-camera-app-treble-roms-t3735169
If someone could test this that would be great.

[V30/V30+/V35][TWRP] Silent Camera Sound Files

This is a simple mod that overwrites the camera sound files with a silent file, and you can revert the original files easily. This was inspired by the v20 mod, but I'm using a smaller and shorter file with a cleaner install script, and also included additional v30 sound files (lens select sound, etc).
Flash it via TWRP to overwrite the files in /system/media/audio/ui. If you want the original sound files back, just flash the revert zip. See attached.

Thanks so much, I can confirm it works

You would need root permission to change manually. If you have root, then you probably have TWRP -- so just flash them in TWRP.
If you are asking is there some way to change them without root permission, the answer is no.
If you do not have root, there's a guide to unlock your bootloader, install TWRP and root. ALL V30/V30+/V30S can be bootloader unlocked and rooted.
Many Thanks. That's the answer I missed
im using Silent Mode Pro to mute camera sound, very very good!

RESTORE the TWRP backup you made before doing this. You do have a TWRP backup, right? If you don't, it's your fault.
If you didn't even bother to make a TWRP backup, then reflash stock firmware KDZ or flash a stock firmware ROM in TWRP.
I can't download both of these. It says error 410. Is there any other host?
Thank you
Here downloaded without problem, thanks for your work!

Titanium Backup and root apps work with no problems here. Everything was done per this thread on a B&H V30S, including the files downloaded from links in the thread (unlock.bin, TWRP, Magisk, root check disabler and encryption disabler).
Stock Oreo 8.0 that came on the phone runs great with zero problems due to the OS, as far as I can tell, on T-Mobile.
This is a fantastic phone. Very fast, smooth, and clean, especially with all the junk cleared (ads cut out, bloatware frozen, Google search field removed, Nova Launcher goodness). Audio on the SoundMAGIC E80 headphones is superlative, their 64 Ohm impedance yields HIM with no need for impedance trickery or SW hack. Too bad a user has to go through so much with so many pitfalls to arrive at a good result like this, too bad LG will shut the door on BL with June OTA for folks not paying attention.
THANKS again to XDA community.

State of root for the XZ3 (EU version)

Can anyone tell me if rooting is possible for the XZ3? I only need basic root, I'm fine without any custom ROMs and even TWRP, just want root preferably through SuperSU but magisk can work as well.
Thanks!
no, because Sony won't fix greyed out "oem unlocking" prior to December security patch and Sony has not yet delivered the December patch
supposedly it was a bug, but i doubt it. bet it was intentional
extremely upset at Sony not fixing immediately (it has known about "bug" for a while) instead of forcing us to wait
you think it'll be possible after this feature is enabled? I'm not worried so long as rooting is possible whenever..
yes
looks like today may be possible!
New update fixed this. Oem unlock is not greyed out now. So yes rooting is possible.
But you will loose your camera.
On the XZ2/compact/premium the december patch broke the camera for unlocked devices. It shoot green pictures.
Downgrading to the november patch fixed it.
But we only have a working camera on the XZ2 devices, because we used a drmfix on oreo.
I don't know if the same will be on the XZ3 but if you really need the camera, i would wait for one to test the unlocking first.
At the moment, there is no PIE DRMfix.
Any confirmed working method to root XZ3?
First backup your apps/settings using the Google functionality or Sony's backup and restore functionality.
Then update your phone to the latest OTA available (for me this was 52.0.A.84, after three update cycles as I had held off on updating since I got the phone)
This will enable you to tick the "Enable boot loader unlocking" box in the developer options (tap the build number in Settings->System->About 5 times).
Go to your dialer and dial *#*#SERVICE#*#* for the service menu. In service info -> configuration, make sure "Rooting status" shows that unlocking is allowed. While you are in the service menu anyway, note down the IMEI number.
Now go to unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com, go through all the disclaimers, and enter your email address and IMEI number. You will get an email with an unlock code.
Install the Sony fastboot drivers (can be found on Sony's site) and a version of the adb/fastboot binaries (can be found here on XDA somewhere). While you're fetching drivers it might also be handy to get drivers for flash mode as well (also on Sony's site).
Turn off your phone, hold volume up and plug it into your PC. LED will turn blue and phone is now in fastboot mode. You can let go of any buttons.
Type fastboot oem unlock <the code you got from Sony>
Now unplug the phone and boot it normally. It will take a bit longer because this process master resets the entire phone. You will get a stupid warning about not being able to check your phone for corruption because you've unlocked your boot loader (oh noes).
Now get Xperifirm and download the 52.0.A.126 firmware and tell it to extract the firmware somewhere. Download Newflasher and extract it into the same directory as the extracted firmware.
Turn off your phone, hold volume down (flash mode) and plug it into your PC. Run Newflasher, and it will flash the 52.0.A.126 firmware onto your phone.
Unplug your phone, boot it up normally. The phone will have reset again (Newflasher wipes everything) but this will be the last time, so now you can proceed with setting up and personalising your phone (and putting back the backup you made at the beginning).
Head over to the TWRP thread in the XZ3 development forum and follow the installation procedures exactly. This will involve some usage of fastboot which you should by now be familiar with. Once you have TWRP installed, the touch screen won't work. So get a USB-C to USB-A adapter or a USB-C hub, and connect a PC mouse to operate TWRP. Part of the instructions in the thread are to install Magisk, which will give you root.
Congrats! You now have root and a broken camera and broken DRM.
To fix the camera, install the camera fix linked from the TWRP thread (it's a zip you flash with TWRP). This will replace some system files with files from the 52.0.A.84 firmware which will magically make the camera work again.
To fix the DRM, go to Magisk Manager on your phone and install "liboemcrypto disabler". This will fix Netflix and other apps that use DRM.
That's the state of root on the XZ3!
Nice. You mean that the Magisk trick would fix all the DRM issues, hence no other DRMfix or Xperifix needed?
I can't say anything about "all the DRM issues", but the camera works and denoising seems unaffected by the BL unlock with the fix applied, and Netflix seems to work. If there's anything specific you want me to test just let me know.

Question Noob question- Can I root my device and keep the stock rom with my language?

Hello Friends,
I have the global version of OnePlus 10 Pro with a stock rom with Hebrew installed and already updated to Android 13 and ColorOS 13.
I would like to enable call recording in a way that it will record all calls without me pressing the record button for each call.
After my research and attempts this is the only thing I've managed to achieve but it's not good enough for me.
I would like to keep the stock rom if I can with my language and also keep the option to update the phone, even if it requires me to unroot it, install the updates and root it again.
I was also thinking, is it possible that after I'll root it I could change the setting to allow permanent call recording and then unroot it right away and it will keep the call recording on?
What would be the best method for me to root my phone and have call recording permanent? is Magisk and custom recovery the way to go?
Many Thanks in advance,
Roy.

I don't know about call recording but I can tell you something about root.
If you didn't unlock the bootloader yet, you would need to unlock it and this requires a factory reset. However, after the factory reset you can just reconfigure the phone the same way it is now, with the language you prefer etc.
Regarding custom recoveries, I don't think there are any for the OnePlus 10 Pro, if not some unofficial and untrustworthy builds.

Thank you I have no problem with that
I just still don't know what is necessary in order to root my device, I think I will try a paid service, do you recommend it? I just don't want to brick a new phone..

I think it's a waste of money to pay someone to root your phone. The process is simple and the risk is non-existent if you follow the instructions correctly. If you want I can guide you step by step. What version is currently installed on your device? Do you have any prior experience with using fastboot?

Rooting your phone requires your to unlock the bootloader which will wipe everything. That unlock is an ability put in by Oneplus. There are plenty of guides here for that. After that you flash magisk on your phone and reboot. Your phone will be rooted. Its your money but I wouldn't suggest wasting it on something that will take you 5 minutes or less to figure out. The guides are on this website. Worst case you can just google it.
You can install old OOS phone.apk with auto call recording function
