Hello,
anyone here got the update 22.11.6 for the XT1068 model? and if yes can you share the file so we can update too?

For now, yes, only single sim variants. IMHO it's only a matter short of time before 1068 gets an update.

I think it will take a while (3~6 days?) until the XT1068 gets the update. Maybe they need to adapt Lollipop to the dual sim thingy.

There is some threads in General that has links to download. I even download one of those and tried but as I removed the restriction in updater-script, it corrupted itself.

That'll be wonderful, being that here in BR they sell only Dual Sim models...
Do you think that with just patching some restrictions/checks the SIM1 would work? Has someone else done it before with another ROM?

Just wait guys, it shouldnt be long, who knows just a couple more hours. Why would you lose one of the biggest features of our model (dual sim) just to cut the wait a bit.

Actually (I also live in Brazil) they don't sell the single version here but Moto G is still the best option so most of us buy the dual version but uses only one chip.

Even so, you will be using a software version not meant for your device, and who knows what kind of bugs it can cause in the short run.

I was wondering if I could install the update on my Moto G (1st Gen. XT1033) or no? There is hardly any difference between the two generations. Same processor, same resolution, same RAM, except the memory slot. It shouldn't be a problem, right? Because I don't think Motorola plans to roll out an update for first gen. Any help on this?

They are both different models, i dont think youll be able to flash it. Motorola is planing to update the 2013 Moto G, u can check the software updates section on their official website.

Motorola will update also the first generation of Moto G (it's official they will update all Moto G,X and E) ....don't worry you have just to wait [emoji6]

[Bootlogo] Motorola: Powered by Lineage

Hi guys!
I decided to make some Lineage OS inspired bootlogos (the one which comes before the bootanimation), as near as possible to the stock one, for the Moto X Play and now I'm sharing them with you.
They also (principally) remove the "unlocked bootloader" warning.
I'm not responsible for any trouble you cause to your device. You are deciding to apply this mod, I'm not forcing you. By the way, a tester tested them for me.

Added two new bootlogos inspired by the new Lenovo Moto series bootlogo!

Trying to root my moto x play...but I couldn't..it is hard.. tried many methods..also tried unlocking bootloader manually..it shows many errors constantly..help me guys..also tried resetting it twice no use... please help

You might need to add "Powered by LineageOS" for the new times.

Got mine on Thursday... loving it! Excited to see what's coming for the device. I'm no dev, but if you need anything from the device (files etc) let me know and I'll do my best to help. XDA has been good to me over the years.

Already did, its a port of the moto g5 plus, ive compiled kernel and modded the twrp img with it, working fine, also applied magisk root, all working fine. Now im building device tree for build Resurrection remix

Dude, can you help me with something. I kind of bricked my device. Can you kindly take a backup of your stock rom in TWRP and upload it somewhere. I cant get into my rom as i accidentally wiped the data.

Is this your first smartphone? Updates aren't released for everyone at the same time.

This is pretty interesting. If Motorola keep up this speed of security updates i'll be happy. Sure, its not the monthly update, but getting a security path every 1 & 1/2 months isn't as awful as you'd expect from Motorola's software reputation.

I have the same model - running 8.1 64bit. You're only causing your own frustration - and that's easy enough to cure.

Not if I just want to run stock w/ root. I've run Custom ROMS on this device, while they're stable enough, it's not stock. I'm frustrated that Motorola can't spread the wealth of updates equally.

Well, you've got stock, don't worry, be happy. They'll get around to it eventually. Although I wouldn't expect to see anything more than 8.0, and 64 bit is probably a pipe dream. But that's why we have places like xda.

I have XT1805 also and when I check software updates I see that my system is up to date. Now I have NPSS26.116-45-5, security patch is October 1, baseband is M8953_27.36.07.40R SANDERS_EMEADSDS_CUST. I flashed firmware from https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...lash-official-firmware-moto-g5s-plus-t3681018
Maybe I should wait yet.

No, you should be able to find it yourself. But from this post and your other recent one, I would suggest you don't mess with your device. You'll save yourself (and others) a whole lot of trouble.

Hello guys I have a unusual problem with my Honor Play. I got it directly from a Chinese manufacturer. When I check information about my phone you can see there for an example:

Android Version 7.0
RAM 2GB
Internal Storage 32 GB
Screen 1920x1080
These are incorrect information, but I am convinced that the system is Android Oreo, etc. When I add watermarks on my photos, then you can see signature "Huawei P9" The phone works quickly, but I can not install some applications like Antutu, Geekbench, PCMark, etc.
I can't upgrade the software from the phone or Hisuite

No, I received a smartphone from Honor employees. It looks like a sample model. I played a lot of games like PUBG, Asphalt 9, etc. and it works great.

Bro, it's not fake.. it is running in engineering os. You need to flash the correct files.
I think I can help you, do you know any moderators from Honor Club Poland?

It's sample device, you need to flash it with new OS. Go to Huawei Service Center and they will flash it for you.

And why Honor employees gave you that phone ? It's impossible that any device would show different name on camera , and different specs in about section. They only show option that are registered in software.

Yes, I did it today! Previously I sent phone to the official service Huawei/Honor in Poland, but they didn't help me. Today I got a software and instruction from Chinese friends. Right now I have Androide Pie on my Honor Play

Does anybody wonder that this firmware might be a key to free bootloader unlock?
