everything is correct, the error is described, the author already knows
when i expand a notification, it lags a bit, do u guys have the same issue?
This looks very promising! Do I need root privileges to flash it? Would it be enough to flash your ROM following your steps having only a Mi6 with unlocked bootloader?
Thanks for your time!

You just need to fastboot flash a twrp that is made for Oreo 8.1
It will be labelled as compatible
8.1 had a different decryption method so older twrps won't work
Battery drain has been fixed?

Just a few different customisations in the crDroid menu compared to the Labs menu.
Otherwise all good Oreo.
I didn't like Oreo at first but its really grown on me and I cant face Nougat now (which I loved).
The only issue I had was 50% battery drain overnight but I haven't fiddled enough to know why it happened.
Battery stats just said "phone idle"
So I changed firmware to 8.1.25 (suggested in the OP). I had updated to 8.2.1 which can be hit and miss from xiaomi.
And changed some apps to be more battery friendly.
So I'll charge up again and see how it goes.
I also updated to the latest version from this morning so verevka might have tweaked it a bit.
It says deep sleep is working which I believe because during the time I was using the phone battery wasn't draining quickly. Just overnight
I really hope he sticks with crDroid because its fantastic.
Still in beta though so can't fault the battery.
I'm gonna get logs if it happens again
@Verevka deep sleep is not working on latest build.
Are there any logs I can get you that will help?
I will try and use the Rom for the whole day, but I will need to use a ROM with working sleep so please let me know asap if you're on XDA
I've also enabled force doze on Greenify to see if it will force it to deep sleep.
Probably won't work but worth a try I guess

I had the same issue, it cannot go to sleep.
Battery drain fault could be also from the overall high temperatures.

Looking at AtomicOS they seem to be using Xiaomi Doze
This could be a solution to add this to crDroid to get doze working @Verevka
Check their github for inspiration if you are looking to fix it

I do not have problems with sleep. Doze does not work anyway.

@shubhambhise does the rom have F2FS support? ?
Installed this ROM today, overall very positive feeling about it - thanks Dev for new ROM!
But I have a problem with getting substratum working, any ideas? Theme seems to install but after reboot nothing changes...

Same here, I noticed that somehow Substratum runs in legacy mode which is kinda weird since it's mentioned that the ROM has OMS support.
But nevertheless the ROM is awesome, no doubt about that!
One more thing....
Any chance Ambient Display could be fixed? Although it'd be quite tough since no ROM for our device ever had working Ambient Display except for a build of crDroid by Bigbing. But keeping Ambient Display enabled on that ROM never let the device go into deep sleep.

How's performance and battery life? And camera is everything fine?
Good job ! Could we have a changelog of what this rom actually brings ?
I'm saying this because pretty much all of the roms are built with the exact same sources and kernel so while it is interesting to see new roms coming out, I don't really see the differences between all of them
But again, thank you and good job !
Thank you!

Very smooth rom, some customization but I can't install downloaded apk manually
Installed Magisk.
I could not bypass safetynet.
Who got this problem too?
I can bypass it using LOS 13 (may 2017) from Jacoghi. I'm trying LOS 14.1 from Razziel, right now

So it is safe to presume it works even in Validus (very nice boot animation ^_^).
I will re-try it when developer options will works again

Very good ROM, smooth and fast. Customization is closer to RR than LOS. Definitely recommended for installing, it will be a mistake not to try this and see what Ground Zero Roms offer to users.

Any bugs, you want us to try?
Hey, I flashed the experimental 21112018 build but I have no signals and it is showing I have no sim card installed.
Flashed OOS once, was already on OOS, then flashed Xenon, booted up and then flashed GApps. No root for now.

It was just released! We're not even a page deep in posts. Give people a chance to install and test. With the holiday upon us, it may take some time to get user feedback.
Latest Pixel Camera Port -many force Closes and Night Sight not working , OP6 Cam is OK but after use of the Gcam and switch back to the OP6 Camera it doesnt work normaly. After Reboot the OP6 cam is then ok. The Gestures seems a little bit slower then the stock gestures on the latest Beta.
And .... How can i turn off the always on display, becouse the slider is off but nothing happens
I noticed that in my files app, the internal storage is hidden and you have to unhide it. When you unhide it, it shows up as 'unknown' but has all data in it
Edit: ambient display also seems to be always on when music is playing and the device is locked
When the screen of the mobile phone is off, the screen will light up for a while, then it will be off for a few seconds. What is the reason? I hope that the subsequent version can be solved. My mobile phone is one plus 6, and the ROM is based on Android 9.

you have drain because you didn't flash proper vendor and baseband. Try this: https://zukfans.eu/community/threads/vendor-treble-support-for-zuk-z2-pro.8014/ forget about number 1 and 3.
And AEX is totally fine, no bugs, still on it since a week. Battery is a charm. I see no point in encouraging people to reinvent the wheel, especially when it's so untested and appears to be not quite cicrle-like.

Same here. Looks like it has to deal with /vendor/etc/thermal-engine.conf file, still researching. I had an issue it was charging crazuly slow (0.45A) while playing pubg then I've applied some lines (regarding battery charge only) from this fix - https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum....-cpu-throttling-charging-gaming-t3650705/amp/ and it started charging at 2a. Yet it's a hacky thing not sure is a proper way.

Coming soon
So far so good.
Will test properly today and tomorrow
Thank you
No problems whatsoever today. Used GPS perfectly. ROM is fluid and matches performance of vanilla LOS.
The standard customisation options in crDroid are perfect and I'm enjoying the auto night light.
Looking forward to using many more from you Simon. Thank you

Bug!
Settings don't appear to stick.
Hadn't noticed this, but I changed User Interface settings and had a nice Amoled dark style, but if I come out of the settings, close recents and go back to settings, it's back to default.
Can you look into this?

Im not able to reproduce this.
I have also set the Amoled dark style in settings, but it keeps the settings after closing.
Maybe try another clean flash or a simple reboot.
I also have to apologize: NFC is working as I found out. After a reboot it worked without problems.
But I will also make another clean flash just for the try of reproducing your issue

I had this problem on initial setup, but I didn't think anything of it. As @moozer said, a reboot fixed it.
Simon
You need to get this official and get on the maintainers list.
Loving this ROM
What is needed for official status? You have used official LOS, so could it be done?

How is your battery life? Mine died fast today, but has otherwise seemed to be good.

Mine ran out in 4 hours sleeping plus 1 hour gaming. I have naptime and greenify installed. I guess I will just bring a charger to work lol. Doesn't bother me.

Just use Naptime in it's own (or Greenify) as other similar apps will conflict if used together.
I'm just using Naptime and got this so far with 4G on for 6 hours

I had very good battery life today so it must have been yesterday's fault. Naptime helps with idle battery life and greenify "sleeps" apps when the screen is on I thought.
My usage.
2 screens:
1 at 100 % at bedtime just unplugged
1 at 96% at wake time
7 hours idle
Going to do a full charge and will go to 15% as @SnowFuhrer has done to compare
Looking good so far
