Hello everyone!
I have an Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) and I want to install magisk on it
The device has no root, and it has not the bootloader unlocked..
I used the method via magisk manager, but every time I try to do it it shows me this message.. does it has any solution??

To install magisk and get root access you should unlock the bootloader.
I have the same phone with unlocked BL ( UnOfficial method ) / stock oreo 8.0.0 / magisk 15.3 installed.

That simply looks like the normal warning that you have the bootloader unlocked. No way around it... Except to lock the bootloader, of course, but you don't want to do that on a modified device.
Doesn't the device boot up if you press the power button or wait 5 seconds (like the instructions says)?

MOTO G5S+ Root Acess not properly installed. Cannot install magisk in magisk manager.

Hey Guys,
So I use Moto G5s Plus XT1804. Flashed magisk and TWRP on stock rom , It was working fine. When I checked it with root checker it showed "Root is properly installed on this device" . Then I flashed Resurrection remix ROM and booted in, to find my root access gone. I tried flashing magisk again from twrp recovery but it didnt install. Could even install from magisk manager .

You have to root it again doing the same procedure as before, in the Magisk app you can follow the best way to do it either by patching an image or flashing the zip through recovery.

Note 8 (SM-N9500) Android 9.0 under binary 7 cannot install Magisk or SuperSU

Hi everyone, I’m come from Hong Kong and want to know my Note 8 (SM-N9500) is it no way to root it anymore since the version is using 9.0 under binary 7 ? I’ve already used Odin3 to install TWRP and flash Magisk & SuperSU are failed, when restart the phone but in boot-loop. Please advise any solutions for how to root this and downgrade from Android 9.0 to 8.0 version for other custom ROM?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
