Hello guys,
Some days ago my phone was perfectly working and it was on the desk. Suddenly it started to restart infinite times and it couldn't boot (I'm sure it's not fault of some flashing). I tried also putting it with a charger. The only thing that i can access without reboot is the bootloader (not even twrp). And even if it's charging it says "Battery Low". Maybe is the battery dead? Or maybe the motherboard? How can i fix this? Thanks!

Try flash the stock ROM using CMD or rsdlite in fastboot mode

I think I can't cause it also restart when on bootloader after 2-3 minutes. It just can't stay on for enough time.

Dear xdadevelopers members,
I have anHTC One m7 (GSM Version Unlocked without Providerlock)
It is rootet and Bootloader unlocked and at the moment is TWRP v.2.8.1.0 Recovery installed (before it wasCWM Touch).
It is the Stock ROM it got with which I bought it, not completely ... before rooting I did one OTA update . So it is now 4.2.2 with normal sense edition.
I am trying to resolve the problem, but with no success. So the phone starts normally until I have to enter the PIN, if I'm quick enough I can enter it successfully. Then everything looks quite normal, then only after about 5-10 seconds it goes black and reboots again, this happens all the time.
Booting into Save Mode has the exact same issue!
Recovery is working normally.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be and how I could fix it?
My guess is that it has occurred because I installed a root uninstaller tool to uninstall/disabled some of HTC's own apps, so maybe I have deleted too many of them. But that's a long time ago, it worked for weeks even after the erase with the tool (I did never a restart after), only when I then made a reboot weeks later the problem occured.

First thing you should do is a factory reset and see if its still rebooting
then return to return to 100% stock
what is your fastboot getvar all?

THanks for your help. I tried a few things now in the 10 sec I had , moved the phone to air plane mode rebooted again and since then its working normally again. I even diabled airplane mode and everything is up to normal again its running like a charm since 30 minutes. I Also got a HTC message that the phone was recovered from a problem and it would like me to send an error report (I did). But I am a bit afraid now to reboot it again, so I think I can not make the fastboot getvar all command or can I place this command without restarting and booting into the bootloader?

Hi all!!!!!! I have issues with my Ascend P7. First, I bought this unit in summer 2014, worked only few months. Then my phone falled into bootloop and..... The worst thing happened...... I ran out battery. USB plug works as normal. I can get to fastboot and rescue mode, but that's that. I downloaded Update.app, extracted it, flashed and........ No help. Still looping. And most of this thing sucks, as I cannot charge using USB, I need to connect cables to battery, if I want to charge phone. So I can get power to that phone, battery is not dead. How to fix this??? I want to get rid of this ****ing Samsung.... HELP!!!
anyone can help me please?
up, anyone?
Question
Can you boot into the recovery, flash again? How did you get the bootloop? Best wishes!
you need to flash the exact stock rom if you still can get to recovery and fastboot. you should remember the rom exact number for doing it right.
Hello,
my Redmi 4x won't boot. I tried to find some solution for this issue, but I can't find it anywhere, so I created this new thread to ask you for your help.
Last night I was out in the city and my phone died because of low battery, so after I came home I just wanted to charge it as usual. Battery logo showed up and it was behaving as always, but when I tried to turn it on it couldn't boot again.
After pressing the power button the splash screen flashes for a brief moment and then it just turn off again. This happens all the time from the moment my phone died. I'm not sure what went wrong here. I can't get it to recovery mode either. So I wanted to do a fresh start and flash it again with new ROM here (Ressurection Remix 6 is what I have now)
I'm able to get it on fastboot mode, but once I try to flash it with MiFlash I get error message like "error:FAILED (remote: Critical partition flashing is not allowed)"
So I looked up for a solution and I found that I need to get it in EDL mode with adb.exe
I tried this solution but with no luck. Phone is restarting but it won't turn on again and the fastboot mode is lost.
I'm not really sure if I have right drivers for it. Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E is what I have now. I can't also change the usb debugging mode obviously, so I'm also trying to find some solution for this issue either (is there any chance how to turn it on with adb.exe?)
I think it's softbricked but i'm not really sure.
Thank you for your help

Hi, most likely your battery is faulty. Current draw during Android kernel boot up phase is above 1A whereas only around 0.2A for a working OS, that's why neither OS nor recovery can start when the battery develops high ESR (internal resistance). Do the following test:
fully recharge the battery
do not disconnect the charger
turn it on
Your Android may now actually work again but you must use a short quality cable connected to a 2A+ charger, which will support the battery at boot time - and you can disconnect it later.

Thank you, but the battery wasn't the main issue, because once I was able to flash it through EDL mode to the latest stable official ROM, the battery was on 93% already.
Now I'm stuck with MI logo and powered by android with 3 blinking dots above. I watched somewhere, that it could last for 7 minutes, but for me even the 15 minutes is not enough, so I guess i'm in bootloop.
For some reason my bootloader is locked again, even though I already made the unlocking process earlier before I flashed to Resurection remix 6. My phone doesn't even appear in device manager. I can't even use it as a storage, so I could try to flash it to custom ROM.
I'm not really sure wat happened and how is it possible to brick your phone by just draining your battery to 0%
Ok, phone is alive again. It booted up right after I inersted microSD card in slot. I didn't know this was necessary...
Helllo,
My Mi A2 can't boot into the system it keeps restarting all the time. Even when I have tried go to fastboot mode, it goes it, but after several seconds it restarts, so I can'd do anything about it.
I have tried power+up, but "no command" error.
What can I do?
Is there any solution?

Open the phone with screwdriver and short the "test point" ...then when in edl flash the stock ROM ....and anyway after that ..in fastboot boot twrp and flash a zip from the global telegram group or my other posts to restore your persist
If after that your phone still fails to work it is a hardware problem causing this ....

It is a physical process not in software so just Google a video on YouTube so you can see the physical actions and copy it

Update:
I have replugged all the cables and while battery was drained I have turned it on again.
It worked!
I even make an update for android. But after some period of time, it started restarting and now I have the same loop.
I have unlocked the bootloader while it was working, but it doesn't help me right now at all.
Phone keeps restarting...
While it was working and charghing, some application was automatically opening and sensor started making some clicks.
When I had the same ecounter with other phones, it was battery fault.
What do you think guys?
I am also facing this issue. Sometime it reboots randomly but other times it works fine. Should I roll back to Android Pie?

Hi! I am facing a similar issue: Suddenly my phone shut off. When I wanted to turn it on, it would shut itself off after ~3 seconds of the boot screen. If I plug it to charge, it would start rebooting every 3 seconds.
I have left it charging for a long time, and at a certain point it stops doing this and shows that it is fully charged. I have tried to unplug it and turn it on after this, but I am getting the same result. Once again, charged it, and tried to turn it on while connected. It turned on, but once I unplugged it (before unlocking it) it froze .
Recovery mode does not work (same result), but fastboot works. Unfortunately I can't flash it as I can't risk losing all my data.
Having said this, I want to know more details about what has worked for you. Did you drain the battery and then connected it to charge?

That seems quite cheap. It's up to you, I guess.
If you want to solve it yourself, you can give it a try to flash it in EDL mode. I have tried it with no success yet.
I just wanna ask after the oct update i got bootloop now when i try to go to service center they told me that the problem is the motherboard. When i explain to them the reason i just update it then bootloop they always tell me the problem is motherboard. And i need to fix it and the cost is half the price of the phone. Now i need some help. When i try to turn on its stuck to androide one then off whne i try to go to fastboot its okay. When i charge it it turns on and off. I jus need some help.

is your bootloader unlocked?
If so, have you tried booting latest twrp image from fastboot?
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Sounds like you may at least have to try to wipe and format your phone at the cost of all data.
But then you could use the situation to install a good custom ROM..
If you were doing a normal update, your phone should revert to the previous slot after a few attempted reboots.
Keep trying to reboot.
If nothing else works, try flashing september version from EDL (search it on the forums).
I flashed and still couldn't boot at first. I tried restarting a lot of times, until it got on the "Retry" or "Power off" option. I let the phone sit on this screen until it shut itself off. After tried booting up a few more times until it finally did.
I was not plugged in during this.
I'm not going near that october patch ever again.
Hello everyone,
I'm using mi A2 (64gb). It is rooted and was running on Resurrection Remix 8.6.2. Somedays earlier, I let my phone idle, suddenly it starts rebooting, just like bootlooping. After seeing that I booted in recovery and wiped dalvik and cache then rebooted and the phone rebooted in system successfully. But then I noticed the power menu appearing continuously on the home screen, I tried to dismiss it but it rebooted again and so on. From then, only the splash screen appeared for 8 seconds and it reboots again. I can boot into recovery or fastboot but only for 2-3 seconds then it reboots.
I've searched on the internet and was flashing firmware manually from fastboot but accidentally, I flashed an image file in a wrong location and the phone screen turned off and nothing appeared. Then I found that it had entered in EDL mode. but still it is rebooting and I can't flash firmware from mi flashing tool as fastboot wasn't working.
This is the problem of my phone. A help would be amazing! Thank you!
Ps. I'm new here and it is my first post so if anything is wrong. I beg your pardon and sorry for my bad English.

Try shorting testpoint in motherboard then enter EDL mode,
Then use mi flash tool.need to remove battery first.
How? Watch youtube, for mi6x. Mi 6x = a2, sort of.
~yes, you need to remove/open the phone.
