Hi all,
I just flashed PAYTON_FI_OPW27.57-25-2_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml to my European XT1900-7.
Everything appears to be fine, except for the IMS-Services. I actually lost the ability to use VoLTE and VoWiFi (aka WiFi-Calling, aka WLAN-Calling) that used to be working in the stock Nougat and Oreo firmwares.
IMS-Services are unchecked when opening test menu by typing *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer.
Anybody has a clue on how to get this working again?
Thanks
You can try to install Magisk and "VoLTE & VoWiFi Enabler" Module to it
Thanks, but in the respective thread the author states that he abandoned the module because there are too many issues.
I rather think there should be a way to grab the IMS settings from the Oreo stock ROM and import them into the AndroidOne/Project-Fi ROM....

Hi guys
I flashed both globe miui and Xiaomi.eu ROM on my Mi5 is using TWRP. Both were based on 7.2.9 beta build. Everything went really well with zero bloats ROM was fluid but there was no VoLTE on both ROMs i tried every possible thing I could like apn , rebooting , swapping SIM cards but nothing worked. Can anyone help me out?
On my global beta ROM, the VoLTE option only appears when I set my location to South Korea but not Taiwan, presumably because the ROM enables the option only for regions where telco's have it. Perhaps you can try changing your location to another region too.
Well , i have the VoLTE switch icon but that toggle doesn't works as there's no sign of VoLTE at all

Hi @chan200606 - your "fix" worked!
It was driving me nuts - EU ROM beta for Mi 6 was working, but the "new" official, global stable for Mi 6 was not... Switching the location to South Korea did the trick...
Since this appears to be a setting, do you have any clue where to edit it? I tried this but mine was already showing "0".
i have 7.9.14 xiaomi.eu version, it gives VoLTE on T-Mobile in Germany but it doesn´t work, as i don´t hear anything
As title said, anyone can share OnePlus 3T , modem/radio and firmware which supports VoLTE in INDIA i.e for JIO..
Need it urgently , I have USA (North America) variant , currently VoLTE is not supported but 850 band is picking up fine.. Need help in this..
I got the 3T (US) on Tuesday and after upgrading it to Nougat, I could not get VoLTE and the SMSC configuration to work.
I tried different roms all with the same result. Going back to MM/OOS 3.5.4, VoLTE and SMSC settings did work instantly again.
So the firmware/modem is obviously broken.
Did you try a MM rom/firmware?
Later: Oneplus support stated the following on my report that Nougat OOS 3.5.4 breaks VoLTE, Wifi calling and SMSC setup:
"I highly suggest staying with the 3.5.4 update as of this moment. Our developer team is still working on it and we will make sure that the next update will fix these bugs."
First Android mobile after years of iOS - bitter experience. Such well talked about mobile and a pain in the a**. How can an upgrade plug a capability already available and make it a brick?
I had trouble with the OOS 4.0.3 and went back to the MM firmware, yesterday installed the 4.1.3 and no modem problems, LTE, VoLTE and VoWIFI in TMO US network run fine.
In PL we can only dream about TMobile delivering VoLTE to OnePlus devices :^)
Hello ,
I am Ashwani Singh From India
I Own a Redmi 4X global variant imported from a global website.
So when I was using it on Miui8 Marshmallow VoLTE was working like charm
But when nougat came for it I updated to nougat and VoLTE got disabled
Now here in India the main 4g network (Jio) require VoLTE for calling feature and I m not able to use VoLTE on miui based on nougat.
Other Redmi 4 (Indian variant) users have no VoLTE problem on Nougat miui roms they enjoy the VoLTE feature flawlessly
Note:- when I roll back to miui 8 marshmallow , I get VoLTE back.
Methods I have tried till now to get VoLTE on Nougat miui are :-
APN reset
Factory reset
Used code (*#*#86583#*#*)
Used code (*#*#4636#*#*)

yes i too think it is only a problem with the APN configuration, also you can activate it from engineer code.
were you able to solve your volte issue ?
Even I have the same issue on my main in current on Pia Stock With Volte Issues 4G is working perfectly but LTE is not...
Running Phh-treble (Android 9 Pie stock based ROM) on my T-Mobile Moto E5 plus (Hannah) and it's great. But I had T-Mobile WiFi calling and Volte on stock ROM, and they don't work on Phh-treble.
Is there any way to get T-mobile WiFi calling and Volte working on Phh-treble? Or on any other custom ROMs (lineage os, etc.)?
I've searched around and done quite a bit of reading, maybe WiFi calling and Volte can be enabled by pulling some system/priv-app(s) from the stock rom and integrating them into the custom ROM system? Not sure which one(s) would have the carrier configurations though. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
I believe I read in one of the threads there was a magisk module that did it.
But I can't seem to find the thread now.
Check the magisk module " VoEnabler". Although they say it needs work, like nobody has had any success so far.
Hi,
have flashed LineageOS 17.1 on my OnePlus 3T.
Ist there any way to use VoWifi/VoLTE with LineageOS 17.1?
Thanks
Yes, there is. Do you have the settings under mobile network to enable VoLTE and VoWifi? Did you check the build.prop? Do you see the following props?
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr=1
persist.dbg.vt_avail_ovr=1
persist.dbg.wfc_avail_ovr=1
If not, add them to the build.prop, reboot and try to enable the settings.
I'm running crDroid 6.5 (which is based on LOS 17.1) on my OnePlus3, and I see the settings. And it's working with the German provider Telekom.

you could have asked in LOS 17.1 thread instead of creating a new thread
Sent from my OnePlus3T using XDA Labs
@meiser have edit the build.prob and inserted the tree lines.
Now i have a button to activate VoWifi
Can activate but does not work
Thint the problem was my network operator.
On my OnePlus 6T (with OxygenOS 9.0.9) i must set to H3G Denmark profile manually with special tool, only then it did work.
So i think LineageOS can VoWifi but did not work with my network operator
Well, there're howtos to enable VoLTE/VoWifi by activating the right profile via QPST.
@meiser Have searched, but foud no info or thred to Lineageos and QPST with OP3, all is only fpr original OxygenOS
Maybe you have any URL/Link for me
It was under https://android-hubo.de/thread/7983...te-vilte-vowifi-freischalten-de-nl-ohne-root/
But the site is down.
This QPST method is independent of the used ROM, it changes the profile in the EFS partition.
Sorry, can't help you more than this.
