Low battery warning?

I have 2 note 8, 1 alert me when the battery is at 15 % but the other one not. The phone is set up to alert when the phone is at 30% and is not happening..
I'd like to know how you got one to notify you. Mine does not, and there's no settings I can find.
when the notification pops, choose the notification priority.
Mine alerts me at 15% & a second time at like 5% or 7%, I forget. But my Note 8 doesn't have the setting where I can choose what level of percent to notify. IIRC S8 had the option of choosing to alert you at 30% or 50% in addition to the 15% & 5%. I'n addition I'm also running dr.ketan's DDP app set 11%, just as a saftey though, I'm not sure if my phone is affected.
I have 2 note 8 as well and I'm sure I used to have that but now I can't find the setting on either of them
My other phone don't have the option to choose at what level I want the alert like at 30%,that happens after the latest update.

laggy phone and same battery time

is it just me or the note 9 got same result with this battery ?
and more stuff all the galaxy was working the same, got nothing to do with the ram managment
when i change the wallpaper while im opening the phone i notice lag between the lockscreen wallpaper and the home screen wallpaper
and while im opening the app drawer (gesture swipe up) because the icon i have on the home screen not fit the position of the icon that on the app drawer it look laggy as hell !!!! why
with nova its not like that
Must be your apps, this phone is killing it vs a s8+ and no speed issues
I'm getting great battery life. Better than the Note 8 and S9+ that I had prior.
I too am getting almost the battery life on my S9+. Started 96% at 7am, 2% by 8:30pm (yesterday). I could be a new phone thing that I keep on using but not any much different with my S9+.
Not laggy though, except the camera. But seems to get better as I use it.
I am getting the same battery life as the note 8.
My phone does lag at times.
Most frustrating is the IPTV service i pay for getting it to work on the Note 9.
Works fine on wifi but doesn't work at all in regards to any channels working while on the mobile network (Sprint).
I didn't have this problem at all with the Note 8 and its not a network speed issue.
So far I have checked the permissions settings and tested other mobile apps like Verizon Fios that works.
It has to to be some setting I haven't found yet. I even tried the app through a VPN to no avail.
Weird
Which IPTV service do you have?
Eternal TV
Hello guys.
I bought Note 9 five days ago and i want to ask something.
Is this is a normal or any recommendation to do with battery charging?
My battery estimated capacity is 3,954 mAh.
Thank you in advance!

Question regarding MIUI Global 11.0.3.0 Bugs

Hey everyone, my XiaoMi Mi 9T Pro recently got an OTA MIUI 11.0.3.0 (QFKEUXM) update (I update w/o factory reset)
After trying for like a few days, i notice some issues
1.Setting screen to light up when new notification come in, it won't light up (Previously at MIUI10 don't have this issue). If change to Pulse animation it will works but not always, unless with AOD is on.
2. Battery life seems worst than MIUI 10, before that I able to get 6 hours SOT per charge, but now with MIUI11, I only hit about 3~4 hours SOT, and standby drain seems so much worst too. I seen other claims that they can hit even more SOT and standby time with MIUI11, but sadly that's not my case here.
Does anyone have these issues? Or should I do a update with reset to solve these issues?
I think that you should perform a factory reset. I tried to update without resetting the phone, but the result was a phone full of strange bugs: contacts not syncing with Google, reading mode enabling automatically even if I disabled it etc.
Now, the only strange thing I encounter is a different sound of Gboard keys, but that's not important to me.

Yep, for point 2 in my case the battery is about the same as previous miui 10. For point 1 i totally agree, the screen stay black and even using AOD most notification is missing, for example SMS and calls.
When i receive a sms or a call, in AOD there is no notification or icon (maybe cause the google dialer and messaging, i don't know). I can see only whatsapp's notification in AOD.
To see any notification or message/call (almost everything) i must unlock the device or wake up the screen. This is very annoying.

Heavy Battery Drainage in Note 9 (Unlocked) Snapdragon

Heavy battery drainage for last few months. Even more battery drain since One UI 2.0 update in my unlocked Note 9 Snapdragon phone.
Things did:
1. Formatted the entire device.
2. Cleaned cache.
3. Greenified all unnecessary apps.
4. Location access set to only when using the app.
5. Dark mode enabled to all available apps in the device.
6. Fast charging only with original cable.
7. All necessary settings changed.
8. Dark wallpapers and Lock Screen.
Things it always runs on:
1. Bluetooth with Gear S3 and Buds.
2. Location permission turned on when using the app only.
3. Edge Screen set to ON.
4. Edge Lighting set to ON.
5. Screen AOD is set to Tap to Preview.
Im having the same problem too and it made me wonder that samsung might be doing this intentionally forcing you to upgrade to note 10. maybe note 10 sales not doing quite well as expected?
maybe rooting and using a custom firmware might solve this. but which one is more like stock with extra features and easy on the battery?
i am having battery drain on exynos version SM-N960F on stock android pie. it started almost 2 months back. may be some apps are doing this.
maybe you guys need a new battery? mine is fine even on android 10
The sm-n960f has reported terrible battery life across the board since day 1. Few people with it have been happy here on the forums.
I have the snapdragon on 10 and as if right now my phone's been on for 3 days without charge, 4 hours SOT with roughly 6 hours of LTE Pandora streaming.
You can try checking your Google account sync in settings>accounts and backups>accounts>{your Google account}>sync account
Are any of the items showing a circle made of 2 arrows on the right side of the screen? This means you have a sync error. These are because Android/Samsung's battery savers have placed that corresponding app in sleep mode.
So if you have a calendar sync error, you'll need to go to settings and search for "optimize battery usage", and search for both the calendar app and the calendar storage app. (Usually calendar, contacts, ECT have 2 apps) and de-optimize them. This should help immensely.

got 960u1 and i get 2-3 days of battery
I just tried whatever you suggested and found that my calendar, contacts, and drive were set to 'optimization' and I just removed them from it. Hopefully, I get to see some improvement now. I will keep you posted. Any other suggestions would be really helpful and welcome.
Thanks

Just de-optimizing them isn't quote the solution. It only will make a difference if they are failing to sync under account settings>(your Gmail account). You'll know this because alongside calendar, contacts, ECT, there will be a gray circle. And what ends up happening is Google keeps trying to sync, keeping the phone activate and draining battery.
This happened to me sometimes after is updates, but as of Android 10, it hasn't been a problem and battery life has been good.
Maybe your right. I've not seen any improvement in battery as of now. Still draining heavily

You should look under Settings > Device Care > Battery > Battery Usage... See which apps top the list of heavy drains. On mine, I noticed the recent Google Play Services app was draining the battery the most.

This is also a common problem. There are 2 separate solutions. I would try them in this order
1. Clear app data /cashed for play services
2. Install Google play services beta from the play store
See if that doesn't improve battery life.
