Again a small way backside and we still don't know, if we getting really an EMUI 8 update. Huawei starting to mark the updates in this changelog as EMUI 5.0.2, but what's the point of that and what are the reason we didn't got that on our C432 version? Are they excluded, or is that a feature update from emui8? As I see, nothing new as we got already.

It's that same as china update. I don't remember it's b398 or b399 but this update come in china. Now I'm on b398 and I very happy because it's stable and work correctly and only change it's sacurity patch. If we have Emui 8 its be very good choose from Huawei if they don't give us they shoot in knees and it's be my last smartfonie. Next it's be OnePlus or another china who have good support with firmware
HONOR 6X received EMUI 5.0.2.
My Honor 6X received the 5.0.2. and now all google apps are disabled in this version. It came via HiSuite. It says that I need to install the main GMS packages to use google play store. This phone used in Hungary. They say that huawei don't want to pay for google apps so you can only get chinaversion.

you did well to remove your reply "e..
it seems that this dont happen
If somebody say that Oreo is coming to our device, belive me, it's a lie.
I asked some of the Huawei staff and they said that no Huawei p9 lite 2016 will receive oreo.
If you are dying for android 8.0, Meticulus has developed it. It is still in beta.
Or you can wait until somebody ports oreo from s different device (if possible)
P9 lite 2017 got OREO update, are there will be way to crossflash VNS with PRA frimware, there is not much hardware difference?
Hi. Give me the unlock code bootloader p9 lite please
your code has always been there :

It seems Chinese have receieved Oreo update..
https://www.google.com/url?hl=en&q=...076000&usg=AFQjCNFKhSzbfPXZeYjh_oFN5TqInUBlDQ
They say only about P9.
We'll see ...
Stop believing that we will get oreo. Everybody knows what huawei had become.

Hi there.
I updated my note 8 from 7.1.1 to 8.0, the base band now is on N950USQU2CQL1, however after update the phone fail a lot, I can''t use the camera zoom , the galaxy apps crashes every time, someone know how can I fix it?.
Note: the original baseband was sm950usqs2bqk2
Did you update via OTA? I mean, that firmware is the latest available for your device?, if that is the case, you can roll back to a previous oreo, take a look at sammobile

Yes via OTA applied from the SD card.
I tried to install the 7.1.1 againg using Odin but always says setup connection
You will not be able to roll back to nougat, you can only install firmwares with equal or higher bootloader versions, the number of the version is the ninth character in the firmware label

Hello Guys.
As we know, we do not have a specific division for the Huawei Mate RS 512Gb Red edition, and the most closer phone to that, is the P20 Pro, this is why I´m posting here.
Well, lets go to the issue. My phone updated to the Android Pie, firmware version 9.0.0.181 (chinese version). Everything work great, until yesterday, I updated the Whatsapp from a "unknown source". Since that, I have this issuie, and I don´t have any idea how to solve it.
The issue is, that the phone isn´t giving permission to whatsapp access the contacts. I can see the option to give the permission, but cannot set it. It has a message saying "Access denied due security risk on", and I tried everything in the phone, google, xda, and everything, and no one had said something about this.
The question is. HOW remove this restriction in the system? Anyone has any idea?
Thanks a lot

Same Issue
Did you figure this out? I have this same problem on my Mate 20 pro
Never seen this menu in my life since i owned my p20 pro.
Are you sure this is from Play Store?
Try to reinstall the software again using Hisuite
You seem to have an unofficial WhatsApp installed. Delete and install the legit one.

A new update is on the way for the P40 series, one of Huawei's pupils. The update does not upgrade the device, it stops on Android 10 / EMUI 10.1, but increases its security with routine security patches.

How Does Huawei Update Distribution Work?
Once an update is released, it reaches only one percent of active devices within the first 24 to 48 hours. This is to allow Huawei to monitor and control device errors at startup. Scheduled updates are done within one to two weeks. And it can take up to 8 weeks.
So even if the update has been announced to be deployed / started to deploy, you may not see it on your device yet, which is completely normal!

EDIT:
I want to update from phone, so should I download version V13.0.8.0.SKHEUXM or V13.0.6.0.SKHMIXM to place it on my device and run the manual update?
Or better still wait?

You have an EEA(EU) version you cannot install a global(MI) without unlocking the bootloader.
Start with V13.0.3.0.SKHEUXM.
Btw:You have a poco F3(alioth) not GT, post here:

OK, thanks.
