Both roms are same/base but that unofficial one is with little bug fixed update by another great dev .....and yeah present official maintainer left pex now...sed nah

As this now continues to be the PEX Thread:
I am unable to Install this ROM, as it bootloops after first installation. I have the latest squid TWRP installed and did a clean flash, I also checked the partition format. And no, I haven't tried to install Gapps. ?

I have the same problem. after first boot I have a bootloop. My model is XT1541 too. I tried all solutions mentionned. ( Clean cash, last trwp, partition,...)
I'll try with the last update.

Bugs are similar to RR 5.8 hope you find to figure out ASAP.
@mohancm had an small doubt this ROMs title says it's an official ROM so does the OTA update work like in RR nougat ROM.
Also what does OMS mean I saw the same thing in the title of RR nougat ROM.
And as always thank you for a killer ROM.

OMS stands for Overlay Management System...... Which is considered as theme engine service for most of the roms alternative to CM Theme Engine. Substratum is required to install overlays or themes which is an app available in playstore

Go to your recovery
Wipe Data
Install ROM and Gapps zip (DO NOT FLASH SUPERSU, SuperUser is included in the ROM)
Reboot - 1st boot takes around 3-4 minutes.
For the guys who want to use SuperSu instead of the SuperUser, here is the unsu zip: http://xyyx-dev.ru/nitrogen-os/Nitrogen_msm_UNROOT.zip
Flashing process: Flash ROM, gapps, unsu zip, SuperSu and reboot
Points to note:
1. You'll get SuperSu in app drawer and it'll work without any problems
2. If you reboot your phone, the app icon will disappear from app drawer but SuperSU will still work.

yeah i came to know about the camera issue, will fix it in the next build. But Networks are working fine without any issue. Check that you're on the correct network mode for your sim.

No,it will not remove audio fx.
It will flash dolby.
Just disable audio fx and use dolby

Installation Instructions
Clean flash/Coming from another ROM:
--> Download the latest build
--> Reboot to recovery
--> Make nandroid backup (not necessary, but at your own risk if something goes wrong)
--> Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
--> Flash the latest build
--> Reboot

Possible but very tedious, the build system is designed to auto add gapps into the ROM zip. Perhaps you can try another ROM? I believe gapps is part of this ROM's User Experience so maybe something like AOSPX would suit you better
really its a good rom but its a hungrai in term of autonomie

So far the rom has been smooth and stable for my sprint galaxy s5...battery life is better than rr rom and lineage os and pubg mobile plays lag free until now..but one thing i couldnt find was the fm radio app that you included in your description could you please tell me where i can find it?.....thank you for the amazing work again
I flashed magisk 14.5, and it gets stuck on google logo, can i get any help?

The latest Magisk is 17.1 or 17.3 beta. Download and try again.
I found a bug, now suddenly whenever i open the built in Messages(SMS) App, it suddenly makes the phone screen flicker untill i close it from background/restart it.
My phone is KLTE, SM-G900F
Any1 else gets this bug? not sure if this happened because i updated the sms app through play store.

EDIT: Yes, it is because when i updated the Messages app thro playstore, it happened, now i uninstalled updates and works well.

after flashing, and when phone restart for the 1st time, fingerprint wont work anymore, even how many times the phone reboot. This is I encounter in Bliss OS Pie, but on Arrow OS works fine.

Yes..thatFP reset is source issue since in arrow os it works..I will check with pex team
And Forget abt bliss and mokee..they were not even alpha or beta..it was experimental rom.

Yes, Google is not used in China, but it may be accessed via VPN, but if the mobile phone needs Google authentication at the beginning, then VPN may not be available at this time.

The last time I used this method, it was unsuccessful, because it seems that when A cell phone is hot, B cell phone is connected. At this time, the network connected by A cell phone is directly the network of A cell phone, not the network of A cell phone after VPN is opened. It may also be the problem of VPN at that time. ihave orangefox 10.2 last one and miui 10.3.10 and when i flash the rom he told error 7 this pakge for 10.3.6 and i have 10.3.10 whers the problem

@letsmakecakes as initial release, is simply amazing! great job man! I found only few bugs: - Need to patch safetynet profile, and also enabling camera2.api gcam 6 or 7 vers. dont works. However, as inizial release is Great!

about apps and games that can't fullscreen whether there have been improvements, sir ...
Gcam doesn't work on the lastest build, I have tried many many Gcam.
Even with Ver 7. None of it work.

Just to make it clear - there isn't much of a difference between custom rom code, be it CrDroid, Lineage OS, since they share the same code but some distros have additional features and customizations baked in (again, not at low level, like reworked systemflinger for iOS smooth animations or anything like that) so there isn't need to modify anything, if at all, to make it work, when transitioning from one custom rom to another (again, if the Android is actually the same).
Moreover, since our device is Treble compliant, porting custom roms is pretty easy.
As soon as you have fully complete device tree, working kernel, you could compile any distro based on the same version of Android and have 99% of things working without any modification when compared.

Yea I am using it now since yesterday and everything is good but only Gcam are not working yet, waiting for next build with fixed Gcam.
